I've tried a lot of platforms but this one is the best, the questions asked are always relevant and the host doesn't disturb the guest when speaking 👌👌
I love how Mr Mashaba remembers those that served him well in the past (i.e. EFF) A man of principle he is. He is forever grateful to EFF and i love that.
Everytime Ntate Mashaba speaks i get convinced that i belong to ActionSA. Their visibility in my area is not there though, maybe i should be the one to stand for this side.
If this is true why then did he c refuse to go to the"poor" people in Alexandra. He loved working with the eff giving them contracts. Does the eff care about the poor...NOOOO
@@junebelligab2990 either you are acted in bad faith or you’re a settler in SA. Or you can be also a lost black who doesn’t understand the Struggle of Black people in SA. If you are black, you are a reason why black people all over the world will remain slave of imperialism and colonialism of the White people.
@junebelligab2990 The EFF does care about the poor, your comment is fickle and baseless. EFF members have been shot at in Alex while fighting for the poor. Plus, if the EFF doesn’t care about the poor, why would the DA compare Mashaba to the EFF based on the fact that he wanted to provide services to the poor? People like you are simply entitled ingrates who will always criticize and not praise.
I was a big fan of Herman. However, he is trying too hard to lay the blame at everyone else's door. He has criticised everyone and he will have to eat his words in order to be able to take part in making a difference.
I voted for Action SA and I think that Herman Mashaba will be sorely missed in the GNU. However, people in glass houses should not throw stones. He speaks about the dishonest DA but look at him now negotiating with ANC!
ActionSA is not in bed with the ANC, rather it'll hold key legislative positions in order to be able to hold the ANC accountable. That's why it won't hold any executive positions in the metros under discussion. Please familiarize yourself with the responsibilities of legislative and executive arms of the State
I agree, any dihonesty in the DA is NOTHING compared to the corruption in the ANC yet he will work with the ANC? He is clearly very confused. He is trying to find a place where he can get power. The DA runs according to rules, just look at the Western Cape, its like being in Europe! Yet Mr Mashaba thinks its better to work with the ANC. Sorry, but I cannot respect him for denigrating the DA and then going to the ANC.
The honest and very capable DA is by far the best chance for a brighter future for all South Africans!! ( with the track record to prove it!) This man was my favorite politician before elections. now i want nothing to do with him. wasted my vote with him. He should have told us he was not going to parliament before elections so that we did not vote for him.
@@vut_zarcoDon't be dishonest, Mr Mashaba took all his voters and gave them to DA,.. moonshot... Action SA and FF plus had no identity of their own during these elections....
@@vut_zarco I want to understand what you are disagreeing with Senzo about, cause you are actually agreeing with him.. or maybe it's too early my English has not complete loading but by the looks of you agreeing with him
Sizwe not happy DA is corrupt, he never questioned the allegations by Mashaba. EFF government will be clean as Traore 's government, Ekurhuleni is an example, clean audits and best municipality. Black people WAKE UP.
Thank you Mashaba for being honest. I may not be a fan but I appreciate your honesty. Some of us have always known about EFFs honesty (taking the briber to court and not collecting the millions) and DAs dishonest, cunning, corrupt ways.
Truths are a hard pill to swallow, but this a great show SMWX and platform that is for the people , truths in politics. Awesome 👌 dear SMW delivering diligently. 👏
@@RodneyErnstzenwe wanna hear it. DA was also deep in Edwin Sodi's pockets😯, now I see why baas John was attending Cyril's state capture testimony. You don't know when your own smallernyana skeletons may do a public appearance😅
@@Yaaloz white people defend each other..if this was pointing to eff this clown would have said they must come and answer..so white people must do as they like.
It's weird that you want the da to "clarify" their corruption when it's being pointed out by other parties, yet when the da alleges other parties' corruption, you probably wholeheartedly take whatever they say and support it. Mashaba has ALWAYS spoken about the da's dishonesty and corruption, but you probably didn't want to hear because - your dearly beloved party. SMDH. What do you expect the da to say to this, that they're indeed guilty? Make it make sense.
You can always read up about what he's said. Also, if it's "wild accusations" as you claim, I'm sure the law enforcement and courts will welcome the da's defamation case against Mashaba if what he's saying is untrue. I hope you're smart enough to understand this here.
DA is corrupt, deal with it. We also know DA is corrupt but doesn't get exposed by media. We know if he was saying this about black party it will fit the narrative, so foootsek
@@xbusika What he says about the DA is blatantly untrue, the DA should sue him!!! See - DA delivers for the poor and vulnerable, BusinessDay. See - Impressive new school in the Western Cape, RU-vid. This is a beautiful new Kasi school in Cape Town!!
Herman Mashaba running a party based on his personal feelings last time they told us they have been told by their supporters to work with ANC but now the truth comes out he says he has changed his attitude towards working with the ANC. Two contracting statements. The DA did not want him to pursue pro poor policies which policies are those because policies are designed by political parties not mayors, mayors are representatives of political parties so Mashaba wanted to have Mashaba policies but he is a DA mayor. No political party would allow a mayor to bring his own policies whether they are pro poor or not you follow policies of your political party. Too many contradictions. The DA did want him to consult the EFF which is which Mashaba that led to DA not seeing eye to eye with you? Two DA officials were corrupt that you suspended, now did you give the Hawks such evidence Mashaba or you will talk about DA corruption for the next 10 years without giving the Hawks evidence to prosecute. Now Mashaba is angry with the DA for what he calls betrayal so it is about him still and ANC is now a new darling when things go sour with the ANC then DA would be a darling again. Mashaba politrics
This are kind of channels we should per attention to subscribe and fallow bcos where we find the reality of the stories we are done with those captured estream media
An honest and perhaps likeable human being. His honesty on the EFF was a marvel for me and couldn't help but smile from 👂🏿 to ear and little confused on the reason to form his own.
It's encouraging how Mashaba speaks so glowingly about the EFF during his tenure as Joburg Mayor. It's only sad that CIC Malema continues to speak ill of Mashaba every time he gets a chance to. The way Mashaba speaks about EFF and Shivambu gives me hope that maybe in future, these two parties and personalities can again find common ground to do right by the people of South Africa.
There is a level of immaturity in south Africa politics both from ANC, EFF and DA. This political project has failed. The IEC had failed to transform our democracy and make the political parties accountable. We seldom forgot that the IEC is not only an electoral machine but had a mandate to educate the public, hold consultation and develop this democracy. For instinct the IEC must enforce ethics and accountability in politicians and political parties in terms of donation policies, citizenship representative, enforce patriotism and fight corruption.
I can understand why people vote for Gayton even though I dont see any good leadership qualities in him,but this stuttering one,no leadership qualities,no charisma,no oratory skills, nothing .It baffles me ,what makes people vote for him?
Great interview, I would like it if you pushed more though. Why did ActionSA move from a purely capitalist stance to a left leaning stance? Why did they go from advocating for no racial profiling to racial profiling? Did these changes hurt their election results?
Yes. If you want truth. I respect Prof Teffo. I just cannot respect Herman Mashaba & his side kick. They did miserably in the National. In fact they let the MPC & DA down with their low figures. They were too busy bad mouthing the DA and for that they got punished.
Who is misleading you so badly??? The DA has a 15 year track record of honest( Clean Audits) and very capable Municipalities and Governments across SA that deliver to all South Africans, which no other political party in SA can match!! See - Impressive new school in the Western Cape, RU-vid. This is a beautiful new Kasi school in Cape Town! ( on RU-vid) See - DA delivers for the poor and vulnerable, BusinessDay.
Guys please correct me if im wrong ,its seems like Herman changed his tone after being betrayed by DA ,this is not Herman we know he said he doesn't wanna work with anc but now we don't call him flip floper but if its was eff media was going to say a lot,i don't regret voting eff
When the DA made certain recommendations and insisted on rules of engagement and proper documentation of agreements they were criticised. Now you want them to dictate cabinet size. We needed competent people in government and if Parliament has to get bigger before it gets smaller then that is the price to pay. Look at the progress in Home Affairs in less than 3 months. So easy for the opposition to just be critical because they don't have to govern. Herman, swallow your pride and join in to make South Africa a better place. Life is a compromise.
Have a lot of respect for Herman Mashaba, but he is beginning to sound like a student of the EFF!! If he is accusing DA of corruption, why not make all the corruprion know openly ta all the people of SA.... Sounds like a bit of sour grapes Sir
Because he is wide awake now and sees the racist DA for what it is, he is beginning to sound like EFF? You are the sour grape here. I don’t like Mashaba but he was telling the TRUTH about the DA, most of us know it
@@YT-xk5jl I guess its easier to attack me instead of reading what I wrote and understand what I was trying to say. what is the corruption he is blaming the DA for. Why cant we be told what the corruption was that he speaks of. Im not sour, just stating how it is in my opinion.
Herman is needed in SA politics, we need people with balls and have a desire to serve people. He refused to be part of GNU and have the easy life, he preferred to stick to his ethics.
Well done! 👍🏼 Side note has the EFF built that school in Alexandra that they promised in 2019? Do they even have a site or has planning started? I thought they got that VBS money or was that for something else?
Your comment is fickle, childish and boring. Yes EFF has gotten the land and most of us (who matter to the EFF, not the useless racists) know where it is. There have been stumbling blocks due to racists complaining about the land being utilized for an EFF school but the land and the furniture are ready and available. As for VBS, try something new. If you people had real proof to tie Malema to vbs you would have presented it by now, instead you keep recycling old pathetic stories with different headlines. Pathetic!
What a load of crap.. the DA is not entrenched with the NP... The DA today has some of the best ministers of all parties and the work they doing in the GNU... get over yourself please the MPC didn't work because of the votes... the DA had to go to plan B to save this country
It would be interesting to ask him who his father was? ANC made a statement about that. Also ask him if he thinks before he spokes or he cant think and speak at the same time.
Isn't the ActionSA going into a coalition with the ANC and Al Jama-ah, the same people responsible for the breakdown of service delivery to literally 1/5 of all south africans. I'm not saying the actionsa can't or shouldn't be in a coalition government, only that it's hypocritical that they tore into the validity of the GNU and left the multiparty charter on the principal of not working with the ANC, then to turn around once they are offered specific treatment is ironic and holding of a double standard, makes them no better then the DA in this regard. Personally I have no issue with parties making political compromises in order to keep government functioning but just don't lie to the voters, it's misleading and causes unnecessary confusion as well as anger between voters
At 27: Herman, you had a small number of voters and obviously the ANC had to first secure the support of a larger party (second largest by voters) before inviting everyone else in. If the DA was not in with the ANC then the latter party would have had to try and convince the MK and or EFF to join them. In the GNU it is obvious that certain players, those with more votes, would have more clout. It is a pity because Herman could add value.
So I'm guessing you are inviting someone from the DA for a right of reply. I guess one can never trust a politician or take them at their word, hours and hours of complaining about the DA going into a coalition with the ANC, and then they go ahead and do just that.
You can’t trust a politician when it involves your racist DA. If this same politician had spoken negatively against the EFF or MK, you would never talk about a right of reply. You people are something else
Someone must tell that Herman Mashaba that as the EFF our state interest in the economy is not in shampoos and conditioners, strategic sectors of the economy and industrialization is the focus, land is concomitant... Your shampoo saloon is safe Herman, I feel he is not listening
The black people who left the DA did so for different reasons at different times. Furthermore, they all had personal ambitions and they would not necessarily stayed together.
