The LV Multicolore Pochette Accessories I bought from them had an authentic LV vachetta detachable shoulder strap inside of it, which of course was not mentioned in the listing. Roll the dice with the RealReal! 🥂🎲

Lovely bag. Spa will be great for this one, I sent my 1971 box leather black 32 to spa last year and it came back great, and the store experience for spa was way fun. Well done!

I adore a RealReal messed up story that has a joyously wonderful outcome!!! If anyone deserves finding such a fab bargain, it's you! You've also convinced me that a Kelly 32 is a good size for me to be able to carry in the crook of my arm.... it so frustrates me that a Birkin 25 is just a bit too small to do that with!

Good for you! I look at Real Real often and I've found many mistakes in their listing descriptions so I'm not surprised. Couple times I've returned items and pointed out their mistakes. But they relisted the items with the original erroneous descriptions! I read that back office Real Real employees work under tremendous time pressure so a lot of inaccuracies slip through. Anyway, congrats again!

Yoooo CONGRATS that’s huge! I just ordered 2 vintage Delvaux bags off TRR. I normally only order shoes off TRR but your story makes me more comfortable buying bags from them. Can you clarify what you said about the authenticator you use for Hermes? Is this person employed by TRR and so you trust their Hermes authentication in house or do you hire out for it?
Oh nice! Congratulations on your new to you Delvaux! They're one of my favorite houses. The Hermes authenticator I trust is bababebi. She's not affiliated with Hermes, but is considered the foremost third party expert on their bags.

Not sure how I missed this video when it came out. Congrats on getting a phenomenal price on a stunner of a bag! The handle seems to be the ideal fit for crook-of-the-arm carry, so maybe the 32 is your best size.
Well, it’s not luck really. It’s skill! You caught the discrepancy because you know your sh.. I’ve caught a couple of those breaks over the years and was ecstatic to be correct when I received the items. The latest one was an Elsa Peretti Bone Cuff, in brand new condition, that I got for a ridiculous price. Description was off, the auction was all over the place. I authenticated two times, it was authentic. That’s why I never depend on luck- skill gets you there every time ❤ What a brilliant find.. Enjoy!!
Congrats!! What a price/deal too! The way I see it is that it's not your fault they mislabelled it. You just knew better. Looks great on you too. I've always thought if I was ever lucky to get a Kelly, I prefer Kelly to Birkin, I would love box calfskin. Such a beauty you got, enjoy! 💙
Stunning bag! Shopping at TRR requires some detective work as the names are usually missing or wrong and photos misleading. I think the measurements are usually right. I recently got a Bayswater that they made sound awful but it turned out just fine for a great price. You had good instincts and scored!

Should I stick with the 28? I'm unsure on the size. I think I want the 28 so I can use it in the day and night time but the 32 looks nice too. I'm 5'2", 140 pounds. I do like big bags since I have a Neverfull GM and Artsy MM but not sure on the 32 since I would want to use it for going out for dinner as well.

My 1st time to watch your video and i gotta say i grew impatient watching this. Halfway through this 20-minute vid i started fast fwding and you were still telling the story, which was really really obvious at the beginning of the video. My biggest complaint about The Real Real is their poor descriptions, but it's great when it works out in your favor (not so great when they are trying to sell one of your items, lol). Congrats, the bag is beautiful!
Great find! Love blue jean - its my fav colorway. And I would have never thought to confirm the info in the listing. I will watch out from now on. I have been trying to “earn” a quota bag from Hermes, but no amount of money I can spend in Miami will get me where I need to be. There’s too much wealth and too many personal shoppers to compete. So I think I will take a page out of your playbook. Also been browsing for a delvaux…. Would love to know your thoughts on a spa and to what extent a bag can be rejuvenated.
Thank you for watching! From what I’ve seen from videos and other people sharing their stories on forums, the Hermes spa can really do a lot when it comes to brightening up a bag. They will not spa the inside of a bag though, and if you need more intensive work done, that will of course increase the price. I’ve also seen that corner touch-ups don’t always last as long as you might like. But overall very good things!
