For me, Ka is in his own realm within modern hip hop. His exceptional lyricism and storytelling combined with the ever present dark and gritty production he favours is a marvel to behold and treasure.
Ka doesn't just " got bars" he is a literary . no one pens rhyme with such sophisticated prose, while keeping the lyricism gritty and witty . Ka's commitment makes all other rapper's antics and raps seem juvenile . he's that much in a class by himself .

Ka really insists that he wasn’t good when he started rapping, I’ve heard his early stuff with Natural Elements and Nightbreed, I don’t agree. He wasn’t on this amazing level but he was certainly not bad at all.
