Alessa and Brett, your journey through Hermitage Castle feels like a captivating step back in time 🏰. The way you unravel its history, from its majestic architecture to its bloody past, truly brings this fortress to life. The drone shots sweeping over the rugged landscape and the castle itself add a mesmerizing touch to the adventure. I appreciate the depth you bring to your tours, making history come alive right before our eyes. Keep exploring and sharing these remarkable places! 🌄🏴
Looks so much like my two visits 😂 I’m surprised you got permission to fly your drone as I was refused when I asked last year but I do need to get back and try again now 😁👍🏻
Hi, Alessa and Brett, Wow, who doesn't like bagpipes' sounds that give me goosebumps. Hmmm, this castle is about power and wealth?... bloody and chilled history. I see where it situated, watch the filed for miles and miles away. wow I am enjoying awe-moments as you give us walking tour of the castle. Thanks to Brett, about the info, the designer of the castle. The structure of the wall, a work of art, is stunning!!! What? Three cellars? haha they must have drunk a lot of liquor...sure..haha Unexpectedly, the living space is small portion of the castle, but it is still intact and I truly enjoy the tour. Well, the chapel part is somehow it desire to be hidden. That's what I take it...Rustic and peaceful I am glad that I finish filming yesterday to join your premiere while I am still coping with the loss of the family member. Very thankful to you and Brett for producing this laborious and time-consuming film. Ciao
The castle looks amazing, cool to see, that there are still so much left of the castle. I love that they added stairs and walkways, so you can explore the ruin.
What was not to love about this? it had everything i could need from a video,, your history and storyetelling is so fun to listen too and you really bring this building to life. Scary story about the robin redcap,, would not want to be alone with him in the castle ruins. another excellent video. drone was epic thank you pop team
Ahh, Seltsac, you're so kind always, thank you! We loved hermitage castle, so intriguing and fun to explore. One day if you manage to get to scotland, please head there! x
Ahh, thank you ever so much Dave and Kathy! So kind. It really is such an impressive building, loved the inside, even better that you both enjoyed it. Thanks for coming along xx
So many fortified manors and castles in this area! This is a great one. Thanks for sharing the dramatic story.... especially the Robin Redcap the murderous dwarf wizard!! 😳
Omg boiled in lead !😱 What a gruesome tale of bloody mayhem. Robin Red Cap and his evil Lord. I love the stories almost as much as the enchanting old castles and Abbeys and now the guardhouse with its bloody history! Beautiful fly over Brett, as always, the icing on the delightful cake🤩
What an amazing history to this historic castle. The castle gives me a mysterious feel as you take us on the tour. Thanks for sharing. New friend here.❤❤
This is brilliant. When I shot my drone video last week I wasn't able to enter as it is all closed off now. Thank you for sharing! You got much nicer weather than I did, as it was raining when I was there. My drone survived! 🤣
Oh thank you! Oh no completely closed off? that's such a shame! There was a problem with the masonry when we went too, thank god the drone survived lol!! Thank you for commenting :D
I know right, it's mad to think about when they are empty and ruinous now, but what a life they led! Thank you so much for your comments and all your support!
That's absolutely incredible, how amazing that the family is in your line! You will love the castle ruins, they are very beautiful, especially inside. Hope you have the best visit! Thank you so much for commenting!
Can't say I'm disappointed. Loved the narration of this castle's history, and it's ghost story. Great video. It's quite the sight for sure. If ever you are up in Scotland, in my area (Moray) and surrounding parts such as the Highlands, there's a good few castle's dotting about, such as Redcastle, Duffus, Slains (which is, I think in Aberdeenshire) and Lochindorb to name but a few.
Oh wow! Thank you so much JudgeDredd, really do appreciate you giving us your time and support - loved Hermitage, such an incredible isolate place. Would love to visit those you mentioned, possibly next year when we return to Scotland, absolutely love visiting Scotland though, it's a very special place! Thank you again!
It's not often I think a castle looks better on the inside than our but the inside of this is fabulous. The outside is not too shabby either but they do like to mess it up with fencing in Scotland. Looked a lovely remote place with lots of bloody history. Thanks for the tour and sharing its history 👍Paul
Such an amazing castle Alessa and Brett. I was fascinated with the history and details of the castle. People were pretty barbaric back then for killings. The drone views looked beautiful . Excellent! 👍😊🇨🇦
Love that place. It was closed in 2022 when we went there so I would've thought flying my drones wouldn't anger anyone but the warden lady was rather huffed...
It's pretty special! Oh wow, that is unfortunate, maybe we had the warden lady on a good day lol, she wasn't in the slightest bit bothered, although we took off from outside the site, but she was fine, really nice actually!
Solid looking building of yesteryears. Great history with brutal killing happened there. Did you feel any paranormal activity in there ?The drone views makes the view spectacular. Thanks Alessa and Brett
