honestly netherite is overkill. you are allready overpowered with enchanted diamond gear, the only advantage of netherite is that it can't burn up... so i understand why someone would not bother with the hastle getting netherite.

@@De_Lus Netherite tools have double the durability of a diamond pick, so definitely useful if you grind a lot. No need to go to an exp farm to mend your tools every 2 seconds. Tools are also just faster and stronger.

You could adjust your storage area for the gold farm to at least auto craft the nuggets into ingots. It would save a bunch of time and clicks as well as increasing the ingot storage possibility.

Commented the same thing, although the updated layout at 21:00 would avoid overflow issues because each filter is separated by air gaps

19:00 increasing the filter blocker items beyond a certain point can lead to breaking neighbouring filters when the first stack fills up (overflow). If you didn't care about overflow protection, you could just use a 2-strength filter. If you want overflow protection, best to ensure the hopper can never output more than 3-strength.

Hi xB! A couple of ideas I wanted to share: 1. Use autocrafters to compact the nuggets down to ingots or even further down to blocks. 2. Feed the ingots into a piglin trading farm if you want to. 3. Snowman at the farm for infinite snowballs (if they survive in the nether? I'm not entirely sure about that one, haha)

The one of each junk in the filter is to allow for overflow protection. If you put too many in, when the item fills up the filter signal will go too high and bleed over to the next filter breaking it.

you could extend your glass roof or a glass (or any other transparent non spawnable block, even string works) platform on your top layer by 7 blocks to increase your spawning chances via pack spawning - the game could pick one of those blocks for a spawn attempt and searching for a valid block (magma) nearby. Also, autocrafting gold ingots but I guess plenty of comments already said that.

by adding to your storage system sorter so it holds less than 41 you ruin your overflow protection. Probably won't matter as you shouldnt get that many gold ingots.

17:05 A similar thing happens to me with bones in my inventory. There will be a slot that appears empty, but I can't put anything in it... ten minutes later; there's a bone (or several). Weird.

Ive had this too, I have found that the item usually comes back if you fill your inventory aside from one slot with individual blocks and place all of them. It sucks to do, but usually the missing item will show up when you try to place an item in its inventory slot (where it is not showing up)

if by any chance the goldingot filter gets a tad too much, it will flush out the filter next to it...signal strength out of the comparator can get higher then three. dont let greed ruin your farm... *edit* now that the filters are not touching each others circuits ya can do whatever...but ya knew that and thats why ya did it. good job, am proud, shoulda waited with commenting...see kids? thats how ya look like a fool! is easy! really...

Yep, that type of filter should always be 41,1,1,1,1. No other combination whatsoever or it will cause nearby filters to fail.

Hey xB, you should be able to use honey blocks atop the hoppers to keep the piglins from jumping, being less than one block tall the items should get pulled in through the honey, adjusting the standing platform up a slab should align this well. The main key for rates on a gold farm is the time the mob is rendered (counted against mob cap). The quicker the mobs die after spawning, the better the rates. (make sure to check both individual mob cap and server mob cap while testing rates)

Another cool episode XB. I really like the double sorting Maybe use the crafter to make gold blocks. The shulker box disappearing sounds like the ghost block glitch. Idea - Scar, Smajor and Zed work together to make a combination Hermit Games, Zedlympics and MCC charity event next year. This gives a year to fill out the S10 HermitCraft gaming district. Which then could be copied to a dedicated server for the event, with other games from elsewhere on the server put around the perimeter. The gaming district could be planned to incorporate a "spawn" or hub area. With a stage and podium etc. Keep up the great content ❤

Damn it! I've spent months on a nice gold farm that's a little different from the norm. It shares a few similarities to this in a way and now I'm inspired to go in and try out a few things to take my farm and make it epic. I'll likely fail, but its fun to try things.

Also to add. Smite 5 and a Bacon of strength = one shot, is one of the most satisfying things when you cant do a lot of fall damage in the machine.

eh, not worth the effort. lava farms can't be fully automated, you need to manually remove it from the cauldrons, you have to worry about lag and accidentally placing lava in your face, it's a whole thing. and smelting swords doesn't yield that much, too little return for too much time.

Why burn your trash? Compost all the flesh into bone meal.. and cook?(dripstone lava farm?) all the weapons into nuggets and autocraft all the nuggets into ingots and into blocks.. won't need all that storage.. plus free bone meal!

Well it's impossible to build on the Nether roof (no blocks can be placed there). It might work in the right biome inside the Nether if you spawn proof it. There's Bedrock specific gold farms that are probably better to use.

Tiny correction: when you dupe the template you only get +1, because you're "using" one in the crafting... ~btw I hate how it works, they should change it, it's very confusing how it works and break the logic of the crafting table.
