In this video we are going to talk about the BIG MOON FINALE in Hermitcraft Season 8.
This includes Mumbo Jumbo and his LOLITFAILED Missiles, Hermatrix lore and how each Hermit escaped the BIG MOON.
Hermitcraft 8 explained is an explanation video about the SMP called Hermitcraft who are currently in their 8th season.

The heads! Keralis is part of the big eye crew that means through him they have saved tango tek, XbCrafted and bdoubleo. Which connects to Ethoslab who connects to iskall. Joehills connects to stressmonster, falsesymmetry, ijiven zombiecleo and geminitay which connects Pearlscentmoon and cubfan. Since Ethoslab will be saved by keralis means that vintagebeef is also safe and that means zedaph is safe as well Xisuma is connected via zombiecleo and weldsknight is connected to impulsesv aka boatem that means Tinfoilchef is the only one left behind

So essentially...the hermits are canonically either hopping from planet to planet (Possibly Other Seasons) or in a simulation in every season (Season 6 and 8). Understood.

I love how Mumbo accidentally killed Grian right at the end when he was seconds away from finishing the season without killing anything.

I was even more amazed at how long Grian deliberately maintained only half a heart for the entire last segment, starting with the gathering at the Boatem Hole in their official Swaggon space suits, then made sure to stay with Mumbo all the way down, just to trick Mumbo into high fiving him in the void. If he mistimed it at any point, the whole trick would have failed. That whole like 7 or 8-minute segment was perfect. And from Mumbo's reaction, it might not have even been planned :P

@@lisa_wistfulone7957 😂Both Impulse and Grian have stated that they wanted to ruin Mumbo's streak, so it makes sense that Impulse would be aware, they both had to be giddy about succeeding. Still, kudo's to Mumbo for lasting till the end of the season 🤠

I watched Mumbo's first and was surprised at him being startled and showing his tarnished statistics, but I also regularly watch Grian, so when I saw his perspective and him sitting at half a heart, it was an Ah-ha moment. As far as I've noticed, just knocking someone around so they get environmentally killed doesn't give the player credit for killing, unless they did a certain amount of damage first. Mumbo has End Crystal killed people and mobs, which would follow the same theme, causing environmental kills, but didn't give him credit because he didn't hit them enough, and I believe he's accidentally hit people while struggling in the Boatem hole, like during the Llama meeting under the hole, or pushing Scar into the hole, but didn't get credited with a kill.

My personal theory for why tfc didn't really react to the moon is that he is a god, and has been the architect of all of this, with mining being a facade for what he really was doing.

He's the Hermitect. He's elderly, he's very, very, VERY experienced (first public video in 2007, years before any of the other current Hermits posted anything), and he's always settled very deep in the complex networks of the world, and it's extremely rare that other Hermits ever see him or hear from him, plus, no matter what gets broken, he still comes back, changing things, rebuilding the deep, hidden network, and making it work. #MatrixArchitectBest

@@SKsuprakirby He may have created his account earlier, but as I said, TFC posted his first public video years before any of the others did. Rendog didn't post until December 2011, and 13 current Hermits published videos before Ren did, with the earliest being Hypnotizd, iJevin and Etho in 2010.

Okay, out of context but here's what I think is Gem's lore : Gem a simple cottage core girl living in the hermit craft one traveled through the portal after running in a hope to survive unwanted travelled through time zones where hermits being a bit modernistic and her traveling through portals in mediaeval time zone into empires SMP With her first time trying magic she was fascinated and studied and studied and studied Edit sorry for all of the grammatical errors

i really wonder how that ties in with the whole hermatrix lore.... i watched cleo's ending before rendog's and i was like "dang, that's a really cool way to deal with moon big" but now her being stuck in the end doesn't really....make sense anymore especially with the start of season 9 her getting pushed out of the end again by one of the endermen? idk i wish there was an explanation somewhere :

I am the same, I got into minecraft in the last few weeks of 1.16 (because of hololive girls😅🤣) and watched only the last to episode of hermitcraft craft season 7 in Grian's channel. But what got me really hooked was 3rd life, there I learned about the other hermits and the others minecrafters, and boy I am glad that I did. Season 8 was awesome and great introduction to all the hermits that I followed for the bast half year

@@hashem1990rko I think that the first I saw was the Pekora TNT cannon marks. Minecraft never called my attention, but when I saw the girls in the server doing things together. (Of course lava Miko and much others) I started watching videos about minecraft. Then buying minecraft. Tutorials, Mumbo, then Grian, and then Hermicraft (I didn't even know what was, I only saw the name one and another time). And here we are.

I had clocked that season 8 was going to end as soon as the moon started becoming bigger, since that was the time the hermits who were most aware of the backend running of the server, and the various meta-narratives started finishing their bases. The other hermits continued, as usual, relatively none the wiser until the very end when they were likely informed via Discord that the season would be ending in 2-3 weeks.

Actually, it seems to be that the theory was originally created by a tumblr user Micer2012. I’d recommended you check them out to see for yourself, but they mentioned that the whole theory was stolen. I say check it out yourself just so you don’t take some random person on RU-vid’s word.

personaly i really enjoyed the close location everyone had, id enjoy that next season if they were to do so agian too, altho on a slightly bigger scale so everyone would have room for there builds if we take S7 scale per person, as that would be much more of what i would expect from a long season, tho i think this will take extra long until the next one, as 1.19 is gonna be implementing so much to the generation, or next season is gonna be reletively short too, not as short as this one but short non the less

According to that lore, the physical reality of S8 didn’t exist, but the Hermits “lived it” in their minds as real. So it’s likely that all growth Hermits had in this season will still carry forward into S9. It makes more sense if you watch Ren & Doc’s post moon-crash scenes where Doc explains the Hermatrix.

What people are not realizing is the amount of time and effort went into this season and the effect it had on a lot of people's health. Condensing a full season down to only 6 months meant all the bases had to be done in less than 4 months because it wasn't until august that they decided to end the season for 1.18, by September you started seeing Hermits getting sick and missing uploads to the point that there where 7 of them all sick at the same time because they were having to put in extra hours to this and Scar had to be hospitalized multiple times this year and you could tell it was because of how much time he had to spend both on the server and in his test world. Hell half the Hermits didn't even do the escape plan stuff and some just stopped uploading HC episodes all together like Stressmonster did and I'm willing to bet a lot of them were pissed about the season being cut short on such short notice and not being able to tell their fans what was going on.
