Plot twist , the lever powers a silent dispenser that shoots out items into a chest so the one who placed it can see how many times it got flicked in total , as some sort of experiment. At least thats something i would do on my server .

The “barrel head” is an info block….new crystals in = head on top of barrel, “king” done tabulating = head in barrel. 😆That shopping district lever is so funny. I think if anybody attaches something to it, they’re going to have to commit to always be changing whatever it does….fireworks, splash potions, effect arrows, music box, note blocks….lol! Much easier to leave it alone.

I think he's gotten more of them from making deals with people directly to trade for them. The Depot doesn't specifically say "the price for these materials is a shard". It's just "if you feel like making a donation, a shard would be appreciated".

I play Minecraft for fun with my brother. Usually a few hours a week but we’ve grinded on big builds a few times for 6/7 hours straight on a Saturday. After it’s over I feel mentally exhausted and drained. I can’t imagine how you guys grind 6/7/8+ hours A DAY on this game and it just makes me truly appreciate the effort put into the entertainment factor of these videos even more. I've seen a few hermits stressing about producing perfect videos or always trying to one up themselves from the last video. I think you all could learn something from TFC. Just record yourself having fun while playing Minecraft and people will enjoy it. TFC was really good when it came to just recording himself playing Minecraft. I do enjoy the crazy builds and we'll put together episodes but that doesn't have to be an every episode thing. I'm pretty sure I speak for most of us when I say we would rather watch you have fun playing than trying to always outdo yourself until you get burned out and have to stop uploading. I'm not sure about other people but I watch because of your personality mostly. The crazy builds and great editing are just a bonus. I'd still watch even if that wasn't an every upload type of thing.

You really should look through all of the available Quests. There are plenty for building/expanding things. But, most importantly, there are Shenanigans Quests on every level which would be perfect for you. Plus, by doing all of them, you'd prevent anyone from doing them to you. It's funny how the real Hot Potato, and both of cub's fake ones all wound up together in this episode. 🤣😂🤣

I have a bit of a Jevin themed 'Question of the Week' (QOTW) that I've been thinking about. That is: Who is the greatest grinder in Hermitcraft? There are quite a few candidates, such as Pearl, Bubbles, the Imp man himself, of course Scar. However, I'd personally go for Cub. The sheer dedication he puts into mundane tasks, which are quite often just for the sake of proving a point (such as the netherite wall in his pyramid, his diamond tower, or even his canyon) puts him on a level distinctly surpassing the others. Edit: I almost forgot to mention the Goatfather himself as part of the honourable mentions. Likely top 3.

It seems like a lot of Hermits have been feeling pressure to make every episode better than the last. I know other people have said this before but we as viewers love the hermits for their personalities and interactions as much as for your perfectly polished, amazingly edited videos. Not every episode has to be a masterpiece - we'll be here for any content you produce on the server, from giant builds, to hermit hangouts, to resource gathering and just exploring the server. Don't put too much pressure on yourself Impulse!

Great episode buddy! If it helps, I feel bad the hermits get flustered at the different storylines sometimes, but the reason I watch is for each Hermits innovative process cause I started playing back on browser lol. I just appreciate friends being friends, and people doing cool and innovative work. Like how I watch you mumbo and etho for being Redstone wizards that make their farms look neat as well as explain*. Some hermits are Mad Scientists, Rogue Building contractors, or even just an everyday normal guy. That's the beauty of hermitcraft to me. Keep up the good work buddy! You're doing great!

There is a way you could semi-automate the bee… “evacuating. “ You could place the blocks and have a piston feed tape shove them all into an area with wither roses around it. You can then have pistons push the beehives through the wither rose area until the bees have (presumably) had enough time to exit their hives and have an unfortunate demise. You can then use pistons to break the beehives and have a hopper sort out all of the completely empty and stackable beehives. All empty beehives could go into a chest, and any that were still full could be pushed back to you (via water or whatever you prefer) and cycled back into the system until all (or most) beehives are empty. If you are considering making a large amount of beehives, this could save quite a bit of time and effort. Thank you for the video! I cannot wait to see more!

I think your episodes are always great, and I love seeing your builds progressing and your interactions with the other hermits. That said, I'm glad you pivoted away from the king's quests. It's not just you, but when I see the hermits doing them it gives me the feeling of watching someone do chores, so I usually skip or fast forward quickly through those parts. There's something disconnected about them to where they don't feel like they contribute to project progress, but they also don't feel like a meaningful hermit interaction - even the ones that involve a hermit interaction.

Hey impulse, LOVED the episode!! haha! you never have to worry about making a "high quality" episodes. The head in the barrel is meant to go on the outside whenever you put crystals in, so the king knows new ones have been added.
