Mob filters: creepers run from cats, skeletons run from dogs, zombies will path-find toward turtle eggs as long as they have 2 air blocks above them, baby zombies (and chicken jockeys) can be filtered out by being 1 block tall, same with spiders and spider jockeys. I'm sure there are other means that I'm not thinking of at the moment.

Turtle eggs can attract zombies, so you could have a mob-collection zone, then have turtle eggs on the side with some bubble elevators or something.

Etho once did a video on mob filtering, so you could ask him about it. It requires a bit of trial and error, so it'll take some time to make it work. It was sorting mobs by putting them through a water stream and then putting a timed red-stone signal on a trap door in order to drop them down into the sorting area. Then you have stuff like villagers to attract zombies to one place, cats to scare creepers to another place etc. Maybe also sorting them by height difference. That would be a fun video, so good luck :)

Let me just say, I had COVID in June of last year. From late September to November I got strep 5 times, was on a different antibiotic each time, had tonsillitis for three weeks straight, and finally got my tonsils taken out. COVID damages your immune system so badly, I had only gotten strep twice in my entire life until that point. Be wary, it's so easy to pick up bacterial infections after.

Keralis if you want to kill everything separately: At the bottom you have a water column around a golem the zombies will come up. Under his feet is a cat so the creepers will run off the edge. Spiders will climb walls to a separate chamber at the top and get burned or crushed. After everything is cleared out water pushes the rest towards a path with its trap door up so the skeletons and witches can go through to be split up by height and killed. But if all you want is to split off the zombies the golem is all you need and you could have one on each level if you prefer it to be a bit faster. Or you can use a mob filter that limits the spawns on each level by height and width. All you need is a few trap doors in strategic locations. A quick google search will show you the correct pattern for what you want to spawn. Also get well soon.

Use cats to direct creepers to one side, dogs and golems to direct the skeletons and zombies to another. There's a few mob separator designs out there. Only issue in your case will be spooders.

Those profits aren’t so bad. That’s more than beef has probably made on tcg and he’s been working on it for a year.

While there isnt a way to 'filter' through a contraption, there are a few things you can do to separate them. Turtle Eggs will always attract zombies over other mobs (until they are hit). Skeletons sink in water and zombies float. Skeletons also run from dogs. Creepers floating and run from cats and they can spawn in a slightly less then 2 high space (as in with a trap door over their head. Xisuma does it in some of his mob farms.). Spiders dont really have specific targets but will *usually* climb walls when they encounter them. And this isnt even counter Jockeys who have a tendency to ignore things. Baby zombies only fit in small spaces but otherwise do the same stuff regular zombies do.

On the getting sick thing, your immune system needs time to recharge after an illness so you don’t get sick again so easily. Also, for me, I used to get strep throat every year, because I had bad seasonal allergies, which prevent the immune system from focusing on germs. If you think that might be the case for your kids, you could look into sublingual immunotherapy. If successful, it could get rid of the allergies entirely and help them not get sick so much

The speed cap using rockets is 33 meters per second, and some change IIRC. Gliding on a downslope will increase that speed, until a rocket is used, and then you slow down to the cap speed of your rocket. The course doesn't appear to have many downhill portions, but that's where you'd want to glide to save a tenth or two.

I remember Etho in his single player world some time ago built a mod sortder for his mob farm, might want to check that.

Zombies and skellies are undead so they sink down in watter, while the rest of the mobs can swim.

Fun Video to watch, like everytime :) For a Mobfilter: Undead Mobs cant swim. you can make a waterway over a dropshoot. Creepers and Spiders will swim over it, Zombies and Skeletons will sink and fall. That way you can have 2 Dropshoots for the mobs. Collecting Zombies and Skeletons while also killing Creepers and Spiders at the end.

Creepers and spiders float. Run the mobs in a water stream over a 1 block space and the skeletons and zombies will fall through. You can further separate by mob height. There is a trick with sea pickles to get the right height to separate zombies and skeletons

You can talk to Doc. He used filters for Mobs last season.

Another great episode Papa K. Mobs can be filtered several ways. Hit box sizes, repellents and attractants (cats scare creepers, turtle eggs attract zombies, etc). Also mob behaviour when in water can be used. A collaboration with a red stoner is probably the best option, maybe on a copy of your base in a test world during a stream so others could benefit aswell. Keep up the great content.

How cool would it be if you could tame a ravager, with say, an enchanted golden apple or something? Then ride it and use it to attack mobs 😁 hoping a dev watches your videos, checks the comments, and considers this for future updates! Also, for separating the mobs, you could play around with different mob mechanics, like cats scaring creepers and villagers drawing zombies, to direct them through different water streams underneath the farm 🤓

There are many method to filter mob, such as their hit box hieght, swimming (undead can't swim, except drowned), and behaviour like turtle egg lure zombie, cat scare creeper.

Iron golems don’t agro on creepers….just a heads up. ❤ Chicken noodle soup….garlic naturally anti-biotic, fluids, salt for fluid retention, vitamins and minerals in an easily digestible form….it’s called the “yiddish cure-all” for good reason. I hope you and your family are better soonest.

Regarding your water problems, Keralis, I personally find this procedure less painful than sponges: [Step 1], create a wall around the desired drainage area, several if need be; [Step 2] drop sand into the water until there are no more source blocks. [Addendum]; use roofs to make layers where you can dig out a limited supply of sand then use that supply to displace the water above the roof, rinsing and repeating until done, if you can't be bothered ranging all over the server looking for more sand, VS getting as much sand as possible to fill a large body of water from top to bottom; [Step 3] dig underneath the sea / lake-bed, setting up torches in all the places you expect sand to fall, then remove the solid layer above and have all the sand turn into easily-picked-up blocks, with another [Addendum] that you can use this quick-pickup method on artifical floors / roofs if you used the layering method. It SOUNDS painful / complex, but compared to getting, placing, picking up & drying out sponges, I've found it consistently quicker and less irritating.

Hey K, Creepers are smaller then Zombies and Skeleys so if you add a trap door or something above there heads you can filter the Creepers out of the Zombies and Skeletons. Ilmango Obviously explains it better!

The quickest mob filter to get zombies and skeletons is to have a 2 block tall water stream with trapdoors above to wash the creepers and spiders down, which leaves the 2 block tall zombies and skeletons to flow down another path to the bubble-vator.

Undead sink in water, creepers are short, spiders are shorter, snowmen attract zombies and skeleton, cats scare creepers. In theory you can sort mobs with water streams and holes.

You ain't jokin' though about kids xD ♥ Them building up their immune systems is also building up mine lol. seems every time we go somewhere, be it school, family gatherings, (anywhere other kids) BOOM, someone gets sick a day or two after and then EVERYONE in the house gets sick lol. (and the kid's immune systems build up enough to at least give a couple months break of germs) ♥ Growing up, Dad would SPRAY the whole house with Lysol soon as me or my sister did one cough... i understand why now lol.

Just fill arena with zombies and skeleton, give skeletons swords and name tag them all, would give a cool effect, or u could get redstone pistons that lifts up and makes track to bubble elevator and u could fill arena with just a button press, Im sure etho or mumbo would give a helping hand designing redstone

In English it is called Strep Throat But the medical term is Streptococcal Pharyngitis.

Streptococcus we usually just say 'strep throat' or even just 'strep'. For your information though, you said it just fine. I love your builds whenever you feel you can share them. Take care of yourself though, you are needed by your family first.

The first 2 or 3 filter slots are 1 block tall for the babies, and jockie if you want the spiterd to go there then you need to make 2 wide for spiders, cave spiders will go in 1 block then the next few slots are 1.8 high (2 tall with Trapdoor in top) then you are left with skeletons and Zombies and the Skillitons love the puppies so much they run away from them and the Zombies love the turtle eggs they love to run towards them.

I used to get strep throat every single winter from the age of about 6 or 7 until I was 18, so you have my sympathy. That revolving door of illness is so rough, I hope you and your family get clear if it soon!

You can filter mobs by having a water stream try to push them under trapdoors; creepers, spiders and baby zombies will go under the trapdoors, but zombies and skeletons won't fit (and could then be sent off to the arena).

Here in America we call it strep throat. And I don't really know why your doctor didn't tell you that it's highly contagious.

The cycle of getting sick and then sick again is so real plus schools are so disgusting with all the germs. My nephews are sick all the time too.

You can filter mobs by height. Half slab let's creepers pass, a lillypad and lantern will let zombies and witches pass, and any 2 block opening will let smelliest pass. Use a head height water column to separate witches from zombies.

Mob filters. Undead mobs (zombies and skeletons sink. The other mobs float. So if all the mobs crossed over a hole in flowing water your zombies and skeletons would sink, then you could move them to a bubble-vator to send them to the arena.

If you want to filter out the zombies and skeletons, then you can simply do it by their height. They are two blocks tall, so every mob has to go through a tunnel that is a bit less than two blocks (With a trapdoor for example) and then there is a water stream that pushes every mob that didn't fit through it to a soul sand elevator or swhere ever you like.

I know one of the hermits did a mob sorter a few seasons ago (maybe Tango?) - cats to push out the creepers, turtle eggs to attract zombies. Not sure what they did for the skeletons, though.

There are ways to filter mobs based on their specific heights. You may have to ask Docm77 about it because it's technical, but not too difficult, to get it right.

Zombies can be lured by eggs, creeper float without bubbles, spider are shorter. You can use these to sperate mobs maybe?

Skeletons and zombies and creepers are all at slightly different heights. So, there is a way! Doc filters mobs all the time, so all you need to do is ask him pretty much.

Yes u can filter mobs. I once saw in tangos copper farm he filtered out creepers following the fact that creeperes float when in water. In a water stream creepers can be diverted to another water stream up and other mobs will go in the bottom stream.

keralis i think what your looking for to filter the mobs is discussed in logical geek boy's tutorial on an easy drowned farm. he discusses about separating the zombies and from the creepers, witches and skeletons. iirc he explains that undead mobs sink while the non undead mobs like witches and creepers will float on top of the water.

The Rivendell set would be a dream wouldn't it? I love the look of that set!

You can sort undead mobs from others because they can't swimm. But i'm pretty sure that sorting skeletons from zombies is imposible

Pearl, gem and impulse have some great aesthetic,, but yours is immersive and epic, alot of integrated utility, whereas impulse has an isolated industrial district.

You can use turtle eggs and cats to seperate zombies and skellys from creepers and bubblevate them into your holding room. Maybe use a timer or redstone gate to open n close so you dont always fill your holding room and activate for “gladiators” and deactivate for mob farm use.

Living mobs will swim up through water, and undead will sink, so you could use that for some filtering

Please don't think of your base as a junk yard, but as a haven for a tinkerer, a person that enjoys being inventive. Living is messy, and why shouldn't Minecraft share a bit of that? It's charmingly retro. You need to sit at a formica covered chrome dining set, drink a cup of coffee, read a real newspaper, fill in the crossword section, laugh at the comic strip section, enjoy a big old breakfast. See it's a thing sweet face. You don't get eye strain first thing in the morning reading newspaper; like you do looking at a computer screen. Water is the best way to filter initially as creepers, spiders and witches float. Zombies and Skeletons sink in water.
