I would definitely recommend taking a peek at the redstone behind this game. Watching Tango build it was awe inspiring and he did an amazing job. It’s as big as the dungeon itself and really shows how much dedication he had to the game. If you want to see how a (now 2x) champion of the game goes about it, I’d highly recommend watching ethos decked out 2 videos. Watching you play this game after years of watching both you and etho was an insane collision of worlds. I hope you play more!!

I genuinely believe if Sparklez was in the running for the competition he would've been part of the group to win it all. Even in run 1 you could see his spatial awareness had him figure out the right half of level. Add to the fact he immediately figured out a strategy for dealing with the River of Souls in the glass panes and his overall skill with parkouring. He would've given Tango a headache from the amount of "shortcuts" I know he's gonna find as he plays
@keitherwin2160

Decked out shows part of what the Hermits are known for. Tango says he is not a builder, but look at the outside build. Then the redstone involved. I would love to see his reaction of Doc's area. It would be very intimating for any one to actually be a part of Hermitcraft. Worrying about keeping up. Then there is the time factor. it takes a lot of time to do what they do. I think time is the biggest factor with most not joining Hermitcraft. I think Cap. could find his place in Hermitcraft, If he has the time to do it, but it would also take a bit of time to find his place. Before Hermitcraft, i would love to see him in the Life Series. It seems more his style and would give him a chance to get to know more Hermit\Empires players. I think that would be fun to watch.

Great times though watching other content creators play Decked Out! After the months of hard work Tango put into this, and personally view as a pinnacle of Minecraft. Especially content creators I’ve been introduced to through Hermits and I’m familiar with. ☺️

There are a fixed amount of artifact locations roughly remember where the ones you find are you might go back there. there is a bookcase door in the castle basement area. Towards the left side back. Basement is alright for treasure Ravengers for the most part require line of sight to aggro. The roundabout towards the upstairs left is a good point to ditch it

Hello Jordan! I was super happy to see you give this wonderful map a try and I wanted to give you some answers to the questions that didn't get answered on stream. Hopefully, you or members of your community who don't know much about Decked Out can find this useful. I will try to just give information and not 100% backseat the game! Q1: Level system in Decked Out? A1: As you saw there are 5 levels in the dungeon. The level affects where the artifact can be found as well as the difficulty of the spot. Here's a quick breakdown: -Easy: Level 1 spots close to entrance 100% -Medium: Level 1 spots far from entrance 50%, spots close to Level 2 entrance 50% -Hard: Level 2 spots far from entrance 50%, Level 3 spots close (usually top or middle) to entrance 50% -Deadly: Level 3 spots far (usually middle or bottom) from entrance 50%, Level 4 spots close to entrance 50% -Deepfrost: Level 4 far from entrance 50% Q2: Sneaking/Shifting in Dungeon and Toggle shift? A2: Early on it's definitely best to sneak throughout the dungeon, especially in levels 3 & 4 with wardens. However, once you learn the locations of the sculk sensors that cause clank, you only need to shift near them. Toggle shift is 100% the player's choice. Q3: Deck Building basics? A3: This could warrant a whole video, but I'll be brief. You build your deck based on the type of player you want to be. Do you want to take your time in the dungeon? Then pick cards that block clank and hazard. Do you want to loot everything the dungeon has to offer? Then pick treasure cards. Do you want to get a full deck ASAP? Then pick frost ember based cards. Q4: Point of "Coinage"? A4: I will admit the Crowns are probably the most useless part of Decked Out for single players. They were used to buy more shards when the Decked Out tournament was being held. They still have some use now since you can use them to buy Etheral cards and keys that you can bring into the dungeon if you don't want to risk not finding one during runs to lower levels. Q5: When am I ready for X Level? A5: This is up to personal choice. A good rule of thumb is if you are leaving the dungeon with cards in your deck, then you can start focusing on harder levels. The longer you are in the dungeon, the more clank is generated, so you need to prep for that. Q6: Difficult Compass Locations? A6: Hot Breath's crypt is definitely a struggle to get through. I would recommend taking Hot Breath to the TNT area and ditching it there. It makes it harder for it to path find and you will have free reign of the crypt to find your artifact. I also wanted to leave you with a tip! Saturation is hugely important in this game. You are allowed to eat 1 golden carrot before you start your run. I highly recommend doing that so you don't need to waste berries early on. I hope you try Decked Out again! It was wonderful to watch you give it a shot! I hope these answers were a little helpful!

@Admiral_Lynx89
@Admiral_Lynx89 5 месяцев назад
This is normal, and expected play for starting the learning curve. You've got a good sense of object permanence, and direction, so it won't take you as long as some Hermits to get fairly decent at finding your way around. Like others have told you, sneaking is key. It may take a fair while to get from one area to the next, but it keeps the danger levels down for as long as you are willing to be patient with the process. 😉 The Hermit I spent time watching was Impulse, and trust me; his main takeaway from the advice of others was that it takes patience to be able to advance deeper into the lower levels. It was hard for him to take the time to learn to stick to sneaking, but he started getting the hang of it toward the end, even if it will take a while yet for that particular skill to be mastered. 😂 The skulk shriekers specifically can cause the most problems if you don't learn where in each area to be extra cautious, but that knowledge will be a matter of experience.

I hope you keep playing Decked Out 2. Keep in mind, its a rogue-lite. Its meant to be difficult when you first start out because you're building knowledge of the dungeon and mechanics, but eventually you'll get better and better every run. My number one tip for you is learn how to manipulate the ravagers and where they need to go.

Oh, and set a goal for yourself so it guides your progression. I think some good goals are: build a deck of 40 cards, experience every level, solve the big decked out mystery, collect every artifake, find all easter eggs, acquire 80 embers in one run. Good luck King.

As a huge fan of Hermitcraft and have been following the Decked Out development from the beginning, it's really cool to see another creator I love diving into it like you are. Thank you for the content Sparklez!

Watching how quickly he begins talking to the dungeon and ravagers is beautiful. There really is one single braincell while playing Decked Out 2, and it's reserved for making rivalries with specific ravagers.

For those who don't know about the difficulty level in decked out 2 Easy is level 1( Frozen Crypt). Medium gives a 50/50 chance at either level 1 ( Frozen Crypt) or level 2 ( Caves of Carnage) hard is 7/8 chance at level 2 ( Caves of Carnage) or a 1/8 chance of level 3 ( The Black Mines.) this level is set up differently then the rest. the level has three floors check the compass to know. two arrows pointed up = floor 3( entrance level. one arrow up and one arrow down floor 2. two arrows pointing down, you descend to floor 1. you can enter level 4 from any floor. Deadly 7/8 chance of going to level 3 ( The Black Mines) but a 1/8 chance of going to level 4 (The Burning Dark. Deep Frost Level 4 is where you going.

It's adorable to see him learning all this from scratch. It's been a while since I've seen someone young in the ways of Decked-Out. Keep persisting Cap! You're already learning so much!

don't be too hard on yourself man, there were a lot of hermit deaths on day 1, iirc only two of them survived their first run, I think you're doing great, can't wait to see you use dungeon knowledge, and a bigger deck to do even better next time, gl!
