What If series, Hermitcraft edition. What if... Hermitcraft and Empires smp had a crossover? I don't care, it's canon now! Stay tuned for Hermitcraft and Empires future videos... this is easily the greatest, most wholesome collaboration in Minecraft history!

It all started in Empires SMP when a mysterious, purplish structure appeared. It's strikingly familiar with Grian's rift in Hermitcraft... Grian then decided to push buttons (this isn't new, really) and the rift transformed to a portal.
Surprise, surprise... Empires Miencraft RU-vidrs can send mobs through as though it's a Nether portal. The best moment is when GeminiTay heard a princess' call via the portal!
Then both sides of the SMP started throwing in messages... and it seems like they both got a reply???

NGL when I saw the end of Grian's episode (after watching Scott's) I legit began freaking out. I thought it would be just a way for Grian to maybe join Empires but the fact that 13 hermits went through that rift has my mind firing off with what could happen, potential reunions and such. I feel like we wont be seeing Mumbo for a while in a permanent role. he'll be like CPT Marvel, very minor appearances. Or maybe even a smaller group of his best minecraft buddies. Nevertheless, Real life is taking a larger role in his life, and he probably has a pretty solid nest egg and passive income from prior videos. So yeah, If he can afford to retire, good for him! I would like to see his RL filmography.

Wait... False is making a somewhat steampunk inspired base on HC, and her character on Empires s2 has no recollection about how she got to Empires. On top of that, she is the ruler of Cogsmeade, a Steampunk themed empire that many of the designs have come to her in dreams. Could False have come out of the Rift after Olli killed the Ender Dragon and around the same time as the other future rulers showed up?

There was also an episode of Jevin's where you can hear Sausage's voice in the rift, & False put an episode out a day before Grian pushed the begin button where the rift shocked her. ALSO, this might be slightly less canon, but I doubt it - at the end of the charity stream, Martyn made a beeline for grian's base and flew directly into the rift as he ended stream

Plus Welsknight is on hiatus I think, he hasn’t made any episodes at all this season (he may have been there the first episode I can’t remember). But yes, that’s still a very low amount of people. Gem and Pearl are already crossovers from Empires, and False has crossed into it. Add Grian's 'life' series and Hermitcraft x Empires has happened several times. already
