I have a feeling that the empires members would eventually travel through the rift

I get it. The hermits had to go through the rift from the hermits side to make a connection and then after building grumbot Mobil they had to travel back to create a two way connection

its not just mobile that happens on. hover over a video with your mouse on your pc and it will start playing with subtitles and they've even added a handy unmute button so u can technically watch the video in tiny format on your home page

This arc fucking sucked. Worst season since I’ve started watching (s7) tbh. No one is playing the damn game. Iskal abandons it, mumbo dips out, etho makes 2 episodes, same with welks. Xisuma abandons his build style because he loses interest in it. Everything’s come to a halt. They got no desire to play. Then the whole crew says fuck it let’s go play some other server full of squeaky voiced, over-actors. Even cub goes on a fake ass arc. Whack.

@@grimrider3807 yes. Let's put aside their mental health just to push out 7 videos a week with no breathing room. Let's push aside our lives to make videos for people who complain constantly. You don't know what's going on in their personal lives, so if you don't like the content that they post that they don't even have to do for you, then go somewhere else. Them publishing videos isn't a right, it's a privilege. Enjoy it. Stop complaining.

I didn't even realize you could turn it off. I know you can turn off videos auto-playing from one video to the next - which I already had turned off in settings - but I didn't realise you could turn off the home screen one

@@javid29 At first I didn't know as well, but after a month of autoplay torturing me I checked my settings and found out about it.

Well, if Woody comes over Bubbles won't be the shortest Hermit anymore. Maybe this spurs on an identity crisis and the two have this low-key rivalry over who can become the smallest? Maybe with surrounding hilarity from the others once they realize what's happening before someone puts a stop to it and everyone goes to normal (or in Bubbles' case he gains a few inches). Possibly a short-series on a custom world decorated in the Quantum style because everyone shrank themselves too far.

It's not like I was expecting much to begin with (I'm not watching any of them for performance art, you know), but this arc actually felt totally offkey. Not like they were reluctant or resistent to doing it, more like they tried and felt it just wasn't landing and they couldn't figure out how to stop the trainwreck so they just kept going. Parts of it really felt like Hermits were embracing the Empires way (I assume there were underlying reasons for the collab, like they were losing inspiration, and it wasn't just some random idea they plucked from comments as a sort of "sure, why not?" move), and parts of it felt like the Hermits were simply taking over someone else's server to do their normal thing (like if a group of 2B2T guys were invited to Hermitcraft and just trashed the place with some old-fashioned anarchy play).

You might be thinking of cubfan. he was and old man in a lab coat- I think it was season 7 but correct me if I'm wrong
