The fact that Hermitcraft is almost a decade old is still mind blowing to me, I started watching during season 1 and was watching all the way until during season 4 when I went to uni. Then life started getting in the way and you know how that goes but last week I saw one of X's snapshot videos on my feed and wanted to see what was happening in the world of Minecraft, I remembered how much I enjoyed the Hermitcraft episodes and then found myself over that week, watching season 9 from the start, seeing what exciting adventures were happening this season, now up to date and watching in real time. It's crazy to think that even after 10 years (almost) all the hermits are still playing and making Minecraft so enjoyable.

I've made one of the variants of Ending Credits farm on my server, works great. And like you I made shulker boxes full of shells and chests that I called the "shulker flat pack" and gave them away to my server mates, since it didn't take long for me to have way more than I could use myself.

The whole "Total Chaos" minigame really puts into perspective how kinda broken the food healing is... you would've expected everyone to die in seconds but the battle lasted a surprisingly long time.

Wow, you got so much done while you were sick! Glad you're feeling better. You did so well in the Total Chaos match! A lot of it is just pure luck (sorry Doc!) but some of it is skill for sure. You're cutting into Impulse's profits by ending his monopoly on shulker shells. It's awesome. I think it would be hilarious if you asked him for a spot in his iBuy to set up shop. xD

When total chaos began I started to realize just how instrumental Xisuma's decision-making is to Etho's win. Even before their final dual, there were so many situations where, with one more hit, Etho would have been out of the game - some by Xisumas hands. Etho was constantly under 4 hearts; I'd say for well over a minute of total chaos.

if you ever get to play Total Chaos again, you might have to reorganise your hotbar, put your weapons and healing items to designated spots so you can get to them even in the midst of chaos. I’m assuming you were panicking but there were plenty times when you should have hit people with a sword in close combat instead of sticking to the trident (even though the recharge time is quicker on the sword meaning overall damage gonna be higher). GG tho!

When you said they were going to be dirt cheap I was kind of hoping you would be charging dirt for it. Also, I suggest replacing the individual double chests of shulkers in the storage system with a row of hoppers, and a storage silo above the hoppers so you only have one spot you need to add the shulkers into.

I like using snowmen on piston pushers to make snowballs, so I can the use an auto dispenser to pelt the mobs into going into the water streams. Is it more complicated? Yes. Is it fun to hit mobs with auto fire snowballs? Also, yes.

fun fact: in this edition of total chaos, you can pick up fire res and feather falling, get hit by some shulkers fir levitation, and safley float up through the lava and up through the ceiling, then fall slowly and snipe with trident

X: it's a combination iron and string farm. Me: hey, I have one of those? Not intentionally, cats just keep spawning in my iron farm. I also made a system that pulls poppies out of the one double chest I use to store everything from the farm and feed bone meal from them back into it. So it's an iron, string, and bone meal farm.

Fun Fact: fish drop bones (Bedrock) or bone meal (Java) on death so you could get some extra if fish are spawning in your sorting system. Large salmon can drop the most.

Honest question here for you Xisuma... since there are already 2 of the same farm on the server, why would you make a 3rd one and not only use one of the others for your needs or simply purchase shulker shells from other hermits? I would understand if it was your own design or a special purpose linked to one of your other farms but that does not seem to be the case here.

I can't speak for Xisuma, but the responses I have seen before are 1) the Hermits are content creators, and building and running a farm makes better content than buying a bunch of supplies. 2) Having your own farm means you can get the supplies on your schedule, not someone else's. 3) it's often fun to build the farms. So take your pick.

I'm at 13:13 and will resume watching after this comment (I know... I know.. I don't do this often!) But, I was thinking, couldn't you use a piston feed tape to achieve the Up and Around motion for the skeleton farm, but just leave 2 holes in the middle the size of the platform so spokes are in the same position those flying machines are? Not a redstoner, and I watch more minecraft than I play.. So I might overlook something important.
