Her sense of humor is amazing, and her plan seems to be to milk ren until his fall before returning to buisness as usual. (This was thrown off by him running out of diamonds before he even had a royal court, and she immediately had doubts about the new derpcoin)

I feel it would be really funny that the way Ren gets removed from power isn’t anything fancy, but rather Hypno doing the same thing he did to XB’s diamond puller to the netherite throne, where he puts down a sign saying “Hypno is the king of HermitCraft, Fact” then a second sign saying, “you know it’s a fact because the other sign says, ‘fact’” and no one knows how to respond to that

Between the intense lore, Grummy, the central shopping district being ruled by some form of politician helped by Bubbles and filled with ads and/or propaganda, one hermit missing from the season, Ren owning a wood business, Keralis' base being a ship, an imminent civil war started by a resistance, and X building on a desert, S9 is, in a certain way, quickly becoming the culmination of all past seasons, and I just love it

Loving the GoT-level twists and turns that have lead to the royal storyline. It all started with scar being too lazy to mine his diamond ore pillar, and Grian got kinda competitive, a diamond ore war broke out with upstarts using different blocks, Doc happened, Ren is crowned king and he tries to control the server economy, and now we have different factions and conspirators. Mumbo's gonna be so confused when he comes back a mayor.

@@FlourishPorridge they represent alignment, but weirdly orange = pro king ren and green = independent microstate of the perimeter (i guess cause pumpkin pie is orange? And doc is green) I'm just surprised cleo and cub didn't have any red showing considering their malicious compliance plans. (Cleo admitting to spuring on the soup group rebellion and cub just being a chaos man)

This video was more entertaining than the usual once! I can't 100% put my finger on why I feel that way though. I guess it's because instead of "just recapping" (which is literally the reason I'm here lol), you kinda tried to tell a story. Idk I just really loved the "Well... and this is why Grian is here: [...]" or Falses "I'm on a horse!" "Falsesymmetry is on a horse now!"

I love the fact that that Grian's name is actually red, but is covered by a white one, basically Grian's red name pretending to be white, when it's clearly red. Same as in the series. Grian pretends that he isn't against the king and that he isn't trying to be part of a resistance, when he clearly is. (Resistance _Assistance_ is the equivalent of the white name)

You should call Ren's knights for "The Knights of Ren-dog"! Its was the name of Kylo Ren's crew in Star Wars that was introduced in the comic books. They turned on him in the end, and also there were also six of them so it adds up.

@@arkventrie7858 I know about Eris, but your frasing made it seem like something everybody should know. Most people don't know who Hestia is, much less Eris. And add that Cleo’s double life series makes no reference to the goddess and I have no clue what eris you are talking about. You basically took the name of a obscure greek godess wich also doubles as a somewhat common character name and referenced it without any context that would let you connect it to greek mythology. It's no wonder I got confused.

We all knew it was going to happen. Grian had good intentions, but it was coming from a time when Ren had policies that could be supported. At this point though, it’s clear that Ren is a tyrant, and Grian just cannot resist resisting a tyrant, it’s just who he is.
