Some of the hermits also seem to have increased luck/drop rates for certain items. Not sure where they are heading with this bit. They have to know though, can't be coincidence they all go out and farm for the exact item one of them has increased luck with and the other has decreased drop rates or zero drop rates.

Pretty sure mob loot isn't determined that way, if I recall correctly it is based on a random number generated every tick

@@samvsmedia8680 it was like that until 1.20. Now mob drops, fishing loot, bartering and other loot tables are deterministic/based on the seed. I'm not sure why they changed it, but it's helpful to verify speedruns i guess

I love how Skizz decided to abuse the summoning moderator Tango when he does something against server etiquette gag in order to get help with the fishing slingshot. Its funny because they actually thought it was the sword's fault that Skizz didn't get any Wither Skele head, and then they swapped swords with Impulse, and the comedic timing of Impy getting a wither skele head on the first try using Skizz's sword is just chef's kiss comedy 😂

this is possibly the most fun i’ve ever had watching a hermitcraft episode?? i am absolutely adoring the energy skizz is bringing to hermitcraft. the scream at 14:05 made me burst out crying with laughter, and the bit of “well it didn’t drop it this time, but the next one’s gonna do it,” and never changing the phrasing absolutely killed me and the PYRAMID!!! it’s looking absolutely beautiful?? i was blown away when i saw it, the water adds so much and i love the gradient, the lighter color drawing your eyes upwards… i’m so glad to see you on hermitcraft skizz!!

No one else but me is going to notice this and be so impressed that they have to comment to say "Wow! Fantastic work!" So, ya ... The subtle increase of speed during the time lapse when building the cactus farm just to time it to the music, followed by the subtle time shift again near the end to really hit the beats on that song?! Absolutely mind blowing! Truly fantastic and word class editing! And ya, I've been working in media most of my life so I'm going to notice. But most people won't and that's kind of the point anyway. The editing isn't there to be the star after all. But to me? Dang! Absolutely phenomenal! Thanks for putting so much time and effort into your videos!

Skizz,remember when you Tango and Impulse were talking about how all fishing drops aré predetermined by the seed (which is true it was added in the most recent update) it also applies to mob drops. So all those skulls impulse and tango got would have been yours if they weren’t there

Skizz, you make content that defines "the journey was worth it regardless of the destination". It could have been a dead topic if you looked up the limit of fishing someone and said "welp, I guess there's no point trying". But you made it a fantastic scene full of laughs and gave the three of you reason to collab for just a little bit of fun. AND you made a staged skit like a comedy routine. I don't care if Tango's entrance was planned from the beginning, the idea and the development of that bit still surprises me and I had no idea what was happening. You just cooked a good joke and made me laugh the whole time. Also your editing of the nether had me in stitches. Rule of three hundred still works. It just gets funnier the more we commiserate and pity you. I love all your work so far. Keep it up! And yes, the bloopers were a great idea. Thanks for the laughs!

I really like the water columns from a visual standpoint. A lot of the hermits like to use similar color blocks in their builds to create their gradients (no problem with that), but sometimes a sharp contrast in colors can really make a build pop.

I have not tested either of these recently. But, for horizontal launching, two things I've seen in the past are: - Entity-powered cannons (Having a huge number of entities in one spot and getting launched by bumping into it. A bit unfriendly to the server's perfromance though!) - TNT-cannon powered (Using Turtle Master potions, full blast prot, etc- getting launched by a bunch of lit TNT all on one block. Such as having a stack of dispensers, all with TNT.)

The reason the pig boats didn’t have much horizontal momentum is probably because people were on either side for the launch. You should try doing it in the boat with the same setup from this episode where everyone is on the one side!

Not only did you know that Tango would be willing to hang out, not only did you know that he would magically appear if you started destroying Impulses base, but you put that plan together in about half a second. Fun fact: It is (sort of) possible to get two Wither skulls from one wither skeleton! Since a wither skull is wearable, there's a small chance that a wither skeleton can wear a wither skull that's already dropped (in the same way that zombies can wear armour, for example) and when you kill them, the skull that's worn and the actual skull can be dropped :)
