Hermitcraft TCG: Pharaoh vs. Jevin (Round 2) 

I think the Armor Stand is essentially a non-attacking Hermit. Joe & Beef had a short talk (Beef's latest video) about allowing it to wear armor.

Jevin now has 2 TCG Trophies! He's the only one on the server with 2!

I love TCG content! But was that the correct use of armor stand? I thought it acted as a hermit not attached to a hermit? Could be wrong and I don't think it would have changed the result. Well done Jev and hail the Pharoah!

Based on my understanding of beefs last episode, The Golden Apple can now only be used on AFK Hermits

I've seen a bit of talk about how the Hermits are supposed to play the Armor Stand card. As the person who originally suggested the Armor Stand card, yes, playing it in the Hermit Card slot was how I envisioned it working mechanically. I'm happy to say that is how Beef implemented it! The armorstand takes the place of a hermit, you could switch to it so to can have a clean switch in to another hermit without sacreficing one of your hermits

Very cool match! Maybe cub can add a section to his museum were he dispays rare/ banned tcg cards, i just watch last episode from beef where he explains that many cards have chanced and it would be cool to have those old cards in the museum, like the OP mumbo and the error bdubs. I hope cub sees this comment 😃

Congrats Jevin! Yay! I think armor stand goes in the Hermit slot. I thought it was to protect you from you losing from the lack of drawing hermit cards. I need to see Beef’s video again. I’m a little confused on some of the new cards. So 3 winners! That’s exciting!

Armor stand shouldn't be attached like an effect card. It should be placed in the hermit spot in afk mode until you switch to it. Jevin should not have been able to attack it because your Pharaoh was active.

Isn’t the armor stand suppose to be played like a hermit card right? You can use it as a backup hermit in your bench if ever you did not draw any hermits in your hand. I assume beef based it on the “mysterious fossil” card in Pokémon trading card game.

It wouldn't have mattered, but I think you guys played the armor stand incorrectly. You should have played it as a hermit like the card said. You would place it in the hermit spot and the 50 health in the normal health spot. You could have chorus fruit attacked into playing it so it would have taken the attack, but as I said, it didn't matter. That card would be useful if they had an attack more than 50 damage as I assume you'd drop the overkill damage rather than applying to The Pharaoh.

Can some tell me, is an armour stand even that useful? Like I love the concept but when it comes down to it, its purpose is to delay by acting as an extra hermit in case of things like a knockout before a new hermit is on the board. In that sense wouldn’t it be better to just have an extra hermit card in the deck as they have more hp and can deal damage? Meanwhile the armour stand is taking up an ultra rare slot and in tournaments that could be better usited to a golden apple or a netherite chestplate?

Can the pharaoh not heal other pharaohs still or did that change? In the game against Beef with Cleo as ref, she read the card and the line that said can’t heal other pharaohs. 3:56
