Oh! I belive I watched the video Jacob Scanlon is talking about. It's the Water Closet!!! - Minecraft Hermitcraft Season 7. Zedaph was punching an armour stand that was wearing thorns armour, and Zed was punching it with his knockback sword. So Zed died because the the thorns armour. Is that the video? Becuase if not, I want to know which video!

Nah, too brutal. I would've gone with a long fall and a floor of slime to negate fall damage. Then fill it with chickens.

@@allenthepotato so my favorite idea that no one tried, would be to have a long fall through cobwebs, down a hole to where the bedrock on the bottom of the world had been broken, and out into the void. Line the hole with white maps for the finishing touch.

Grain was first planning to not kill you, and let you break through obsidian with your bare hands! It will cost like half an hour per block or so. You’re so lucky xD

Some of you really complaining about Grian getting a prize even though he didn't kill Tango. Dudes, I hope you don't think it's because they want more views or some dumb shit like that. Grian is the literal baby of the server, he's such a cutie and so caring and genuine that it would be so hard for anyone of them to even think he was let down in anyway. That's just what happens in a family. I think Tango giving him a prize and just everyone else treating him so kindly and loving is the most precious thing. No other reason.. All I see is love on this server.

It is a shame that Grian's machine wasn't used to its full potential, making Tango dig his way out of the obsidian behind the item frames with his bare hands. Although, Grian had Tango kill himself rather than have a machine do it for him. That makes him the winner in my eyes. Great builds all around though!

Doc should've totally gotten more points! You couldn't see it there, but the anvil actually only fell from a few blocks above your head, and yet was still lethal- I don't know why he didn't make a point of that! It was one of the only two that actually killed you at the intended time :P

Impluse had the best contraption, too bad it failed before the end. But Docs was my favorite because his device will only be complete once you die again, so in my book that is a double kill. Now Cubs was great because I didn't know you could bounce an anvil like that before he made his video. Grian and Xisuma had great ideas to troll you and that is always the fun of these things so shout out to them for coming up with simple traps.

Grian could have have made an actual death trap if he had a second obsidian room under the first. Tango digs away at the floor breaking the map and the sea lantern to find a block of dirt. Tango thinks its a way to freedom and digs through it only to land in lava.

Impulse's, while very cool, killed you before it was supposed to. I like DocM77's machine because the anvil shouldn't be able to kill you from the height it is dropped from, but he bounces it on a water column to give it a greater fall time, making it deadly. Plus he adds in the 'infinity room' effect and sticks you with a villager's head.

Double points for double death and attempted murder of the judges. It's basically like Buildswap where nobody cares about anything because they're the ones who are recording. But yeah, Doc's was pretty nice. And I especially loved how it was Tango's last death, so he couldn't actually take the Dunce head off because eckschyaiszchooumnahvoiydt didn't actually kill Tango.

@@bigbadcivic2 I agree Doc had that as one of his tricks, whereas it was Grians only trick. Doc went with the least visually impressive but most obscure / technical way to kill him

Wasn't the 5 points from Scar? Maybe ask him why he gave Doc lower points on this than Grian? I wondered about that too... though maybe having Tangos POV during Grians part made the difference? Maybe he just leans towards Grians humor over Docs (the latter being rather sadistic considering the curse of binding Dunce Head ^^ )

Xisuma's shifting room is absolute inescapable. If he placed a block at the top , there's no way to escape . You can punch through obsidian (which is what grian"'s room is made of) but not on a shifting walls and floor.

I was like “nooooooo!” Impulse’s machine didn’t work all the way till the end, that would be glorious! I saw him working on that and I was sure it was the best. Congrats to everyone and RIP Tango 😁

I actually liked Impulse's concept, but since it didn't work properly, I think the win should've gone to Doc. His contraption was clean, efficient, and elegant with the respawn trick! Oh well, good job to all the Hermits who participated :D

It should have been Doc. It was creative, efficient, clean, quick, and he made good use of the cursed Dunce Head. All hope was on for Xisuma's trap to kill you and remove the evil Dunce Head, but it didn't, so you're stuck with it

Grian's was cool and should've won "Second Place" or "Honorable Mention." Since he can't do redstone. But overall Impulse won 100%.

It's a bit sad that nobody noticed Doc was using the same mechanics than Cub, regarding the anvil (but on the y-axis). It was way more tricky than depicted in the videos, and therefore the ratings were not fair, compared to Cub's. But Impulse surely was the rightful winner. He put in the most effort, and the bubblevator/TNT worked well when he tested it. Had it worked with you as well, it could have been a perfect score of 3x10!

Sure they both used bubbles & anvils, but Cub & Doc didn't actually use the same mechanics! Doc held the anvil in place on a bubble column to build up momentum, lethalising the anvil- whereas in Cub's machine, the anvil actually *lost* momentum in transit, which is why he had to soften them up first!

Cub gained forward momentum (z-axis), Doc downward momentum (y-axis). Don't get me wrong, Cub's version is cool, but he had the advantage of visuals, whereas Doc's version could not be seen.

He should have dragged it out by letting Tango try to escape first by breaking item frames and sea lanterns to discover the obsidian box around them. Only then should Grian have offered mercy in the form of lava.

Impulse did my favourite but it didn’t work properly. So I don’t think it should have won. Cubs was alright but nothing special. Grian and X had the same idea which was more a fun entry. Doc used interesting mechanics to kill, had silly bits with heads and manipulated spawning to put him in an infinity room. Doc for the win

I don't think people understand the work it took Grian to do what he had to do. He worked so hard to find a place to make that giant white platform to make his painting trick. He went everywhere, tried using snowmen, and had to end up placing every single snow platform piece by piece. Also he was on the thumbnail higher than the other people, getting my hopes up, to realize he got one of the lowest scores. *i am outraged good sar, but thank you for giving him the rockets. that gives me momentary happiness for grian*

It's 2022. I don't know why this video keeps showing up in my feed every three months. The algorithm clearly likes watching Tango die. But you know what? So do I, and I watch it every time.
