How is that "always hilarious"? Being in a wheelchair does NOT negate a person's height. It's still documented in the medical world until you stop growing and is also put on your non-driver's ID or license because it's still relevant information.

I honestly feel like the whole bully bdubs about his height has become more of an inside joke at this point. Like, it started as teasing, then it became spiteful ribbing, and bdubs eventually went 'fuck it we ballin' and rolled with the gag at some point. He knows the viewers and other hermits love it so he indulges them every now and then. (sometimes quite comically) I feel the same way about Grian and Buttons, like I could easily imagine it started as a one off gag, then Grian 'clicked' (unintentional pun) something in his brain and he got addicted/ fixated on them. You could say he became quite ImpulseSV about it.
yeah for sure. Him playing along and going "yes, and..." (or in this case "yes, but...") is a huge part of why it's still going on. I'd assume if he didn't like it, he'd told them to stop by now. Being able to be made fun of is an impressive skill, too. Very admirable.
Between doc and mumbo towering over Grian, the bdubs height allegations, and the lineup skizz, tango, and impulse did during the hot wings stream, I NEED to see a height comparison between Skizz, Mumbo, and Doc. They might as well be 7 feet tall in my brain
You missed my favorite one. In season 7, I don't remember when exactly, but Scar lowers himself off a slab and says he's on bdubs' level, and bdubs yells, "YOU THINK YOU'RE SO FUNNY?"
Im pretty sure he's taller, people just think hes short because mumbo keeps joking that he's 6'0, which would mean Grian is like 5'4. Im pretty sure mumbo is close to 7'0 so grian is probably around 5'11 or 6'0
I was pretty sure Mumbo is 6'5 like Doc and Grian is taller than 5'6 but idk what and Bdubs is 5'9 or 5'10. I think those are accurate enoughgh but Bdbubs plays into the short jokes with his reactions and he's been teased since NHO tbf
fun fact: Bdubs is taller than 9 other Hermits, the same height as 4 others, and shorter than 11. meaning that about 45% of the server is taller than him
I love this gag that came from his NHO days when he was shortest among them (Etho, Doc and Beef are all 6ft+ while Bdubs is 5’10) has carried over to HC and then the life series and probably to a lot more, and now others tease him about it even if he is taller than them lol He just puts off small gremlin energy
I like to imagine that BDubs has one of those measuring things that they use at the doctors office in his room and he measures every morning how tall he is
The newest minecraft update actually is adding a command to change the size of players so it’s great to see the game is accommodating Bdubs and the rest of us who can’t reach the top shelf at the supermarket.
i'm 6'2 and I'll be your body guard... now that I think of it I probably shouldn't because that will make you look shorter. if it makes you feel better I hit my head in the grocery store
Every time I've ever heard Bdubs say "measured this morning" I just imagine he has like a stadiometer [like the height checkers at doctors offices] mounted next to his bedroom/bathroom door and that there's like 2-4 inches chopped off the bottom of it 🤣☠😂☠☠
The difference is that you’re female. The average height for a woman generally falls between 5’4” and 5’6”. Average height for a man is around 5’9” to 5’11”. You can’t argue that you being a tall woman and the same height as a man makes him tall too, because men and women’s heights have to be judged by different standards. No, Bdubs isn’t short, but he’s not tall, either. He’s average.
Honestly, there is one thing I am stuck on. When misleading wordplay is used, it is usually Scar doing it. This time, it was Bdubs saying high instead of tall. Scar just going with it saying that they would get high later is too funny.
honestly, the picture with Mumbo. (judging by google) Mumbo is like 6'5" which isn't incredibly tall or anything. But Grian's a hobbit compared to him...
I patiently await the day that they all get to be at a con together, and they all line up and we get the truth. I'm sure Bdubs is average height, I just think he's friends with a lot of giants.
It feels so weird to hear height discussions by europeans and north americans. I'm 5´6" (168 cms) and that's considered slightly under average (171 cms) for a chilean man XD Blows my mind! To these people I am ridiculously short!

i know a guy that would come help with my grandma .... she's 4'11", and he's like 6'7" or taller lol. Idk. She'd look up at him. "How's the weather up there," and giggle. in photos with her, she always looks like she's sitting, but she's standing .... I'm the shortest in my generation at 5'9".... my younger sister is even taller than me by an inch.
im 5' 10" and i think there's something weird going on with the part of the state i grew up in and live, bc ive only ever met 2 dudes taller than me. most have been as tall as me or very slightly shorter.
Bdubs just looks short because a trait of 90% of MCYTs (especially the guys) are that they are over 6'0 for some reason. Also that they are buff/built Notable for Height: (Ranboo, Wilbur Soot, Mumbo Jumbo, Doc, etc) Notable for Buff: (Slimecicle, Captain Sparkles, Foolish Gamers, etc)
