Hero Changes That Will Help Balance Overwatch + Make It More Fun ( Season 10 Competitive ) 

I dont want Brigitte nerfs because I hate her... She is my second most used hero this season. I just want the game to be more balanced in the competitive ladder and not see Brigitte in every single game. There should not be a hero with a 56% winrate and above 10% playrate. Mercy was a bit worse, but this should not happen. -Overall I like the hero, but just want her to be nerfed in order to make the games focus less around her. As well I know that a good team can hard counter Brigitte but the past month has shown that this hypothetical does not translate into real games. In reality you cant expect a team of randoms with random roles to swap to the exact hero and playstyle to counter her every game. I wish you could, but this aint ESports.

Overwatch desperately needs another main tank to shake things up. also something needs to be done to stop Hanzo from getting ults every 30 seconds. Its just to easy for him to farm massive damage off tanks.

Buff Reaper? Are you high? It's bad enough that tanks have to have a pocket healer now, but another buff? Seriously, why do you want all the DPS to get buffs so the tanks can get screwed over?

as a Zen and Ana main I disagree with the nerf to Brigitte. It is more then hell on earth playing against flankers as a support without being able to defend yourself. so No. leave Brigitte..

It's totally possible to play Tracer against Brigitte, she's just like McCree. Pay attention to her positioning at all times and never be in range to land the stun. Duel enemy DPS, kill the other supports, farm tanks for pulse bomb and finally stick Brigitte cause her hitbox is massive

I honestly think Brigette could do with cooldown increases all around. Whip shot, shield bash, and repair pack being on longer cooldowns wouldn't effect their actual effectiveness, but force the Brigette player to be more disciplined in their use. Her Ultimate could use a bit of a longer build up rate too, as she can get it pretty quickly in some fights. This way she's still a great answer to dive, but not so powerful that most people can deal with her if she's not managing her cooldowns well. Hanzo should no longer be able to headshot with storm arrow. Its way too much firepower at the moment, and allows good Hnazos to still pretty much burn down tanks and insta-pick some squishies with relative ease. Dragon Strike would be somewhat nerfed by not being able to build up so much headshot percentage on it either, but I could live with it taking longer to charge up as well. He's just too good of a DPS at the moment; and while I want him to be in a good spot, he can't be this good for much longer. Junkrat's tire still needs to take longer to charge up. He's overall ok right now, but him having Rip Tire so often is just too much. I'd even be ok with it having more HP to compensate for a much longer charge rate. Doomfist needs some improvements to his ultimate and survivability, as he is pretty much still greatly uderpowered in most tiers of play. McCree needs some serious help with Deadeye and his combat roll either needs to be scrapped, or it should give him i-frames to allow him to better defend himself. And lastly; Ana needs some form of pre-healing in order to make up for her recent changes to her shots. Perhaps even give her some kind of ability that heals over time? As for the game, we NEED a role que some time next season, as the game has been out long enough now without it. It also wouldn't hurt to have more options to team up with friends.

As a support/tank main, I enjoy the new meta. Dive was just no fun when playing support. For me, the damage of the Brigitte flail is a bit high, and her ult is too strong. Hanzo is too tank-shreddy right now, leading too many ultimates: reduce the number of arrows in storm arrow or limit their headshot impact. Handful of tweaks and we will be there, I think.

Lets nerf all of the characters that are new to the meta so all of the old characters go uncontested again.

The thing is just having a brig rn makes playing Winston tracer and genji useless make it so they could be viable not just unplayable bc they have a brig

Make Mccree indestructible during dive roll Give Bridgette a clip of healing with flail and destroy her shield when she connects with shield bash.

i hope Overwatch does the same thing with Brig that they did to Moria (nothing) :)

Brigette definitely needs an offensive nerf. Considering how she can duel almost every character in the game and Survive way too long in all situations.

It's already frustrating as it is to play against a decent sombra. giving her a damage boost against hack characters sounds ridiculous AF man. Have u ever play against a sombra that knows what she's doing? Well let me tell u, it's a f#%king nightmare. She's just a high skill character there's nothing wrong with her. Love ur videos tho.

I have a few ideas to make some good changes to the game. 1: Winston needs a small damage buff to help get through armor a bit fastee, but still not do too much damage to hp. 2: Hanzo's storm arrows are still rediculous. For as long as they've been added, I've seen Hanzos boldly go right up to any hero with them, even up to a Reaper or Roadhog, and blast them with every arrow, which can do lots of damage especially with headshots. The lunge ability only makes this worse. I feel that storm arrowa should have 1 of these two changes: Have him shoot the 6 arrows without controlling when to shoot each one so that he will have to make sure every arrow counts, or have him kneel down and become immobile as he shoots the 6 arrows (but can be canceled to move again), causing him to be more careful with his placement in a battle rather than just charge right in all the time. 3: Reinhardt's charge definitely has to beat Brigitte's bash. Reinhardt should have stun resistance while charging, but can still be knocked back. This helps Rein become better at countering Brig, but not completely to do Brig having a knockback ability. 4: Since Hanzo has been so strong at a ranges, Widowmaker hasn't been too great aside from her ability to locate enemies almost all the time, and her greater chance at headshots from her sniper scope. I feel that a buff to her ultimate would be good to boost her up a bit. Her ultimate should locate all enemies AND allow her only to do increased damage to those targets. This would be good for taking out enemies who aren't protected by barriers, and it would help get through protection such as armor and shield. Headshots would be even more deadly, but bodyshots wouldn't (and Probably shouldn't) 1 shot enemies with 200hp, unless more damage boosts were added to her. 5: Bastion, in my opinion, definitely needs somekind of buff. His damage resistance and damage seem pretty okay, but he just seems weak when he gets attacked. I feel that the time between swapping configurations (turret and tank) should be reduced a bit so he won't remain too vulnerable, but not too much as to where he becomes too quick.

So you're trying to make Brigette suck at everything ? The only thing is that a 5 man team while not have a chance against 6 man team with Brigette, so she kind of stomps clutch situations which makes the game with less surprising wins. And some people may not like that. She actually stomps clutch plays in general with 6 v 6 so you get the point. What people should be worried about though is that incoming symmetra rework.

A damage boost on hacked targets would shred zen so fast. And if it works on the emp it would be pretty strong

Hanzo might need a fire rate nerf in addition to the storm arrow nerf.

If Junkrat's niche is shield breaking, burst damage, team disruption, and constant ranged pressure. He should be OP in this meta, it's the perfect place for him on paper: slow pushes give him so much time to spam, no flankers to dive him, his mine pushes players out of formation, his tire can one shot players and get multikills if the teams are bunched up, burst damage is in high demand, and if he breaks brigitte's shields, no more bash, but he's terrible instead. I don't see how a meta shift will help Junkrat, it's like if Genji was bad in dive but everyone is saying "don't worry, he'll be good next meta." It's the nerfs to Junkrat's consistency. I'd ok with junkrat taking more aim if I could practice to get better, but you can't fully do that with a nade size nerf because half of the equation is your opponents ability to dodge his shots and no amount of aim is going to undo how easy Junkrat's nades are to dodge now, enemies just have too much control.

Or they could nerf briggite's stun time lower. As in how long you are stun so tracer or genji could probably recall or dash away.that makes dive characters to make sure that they need to have there cool down to fight her.

Paladins has cauterize (Reduce healing enemy team get for a few seconds), so maybe they could throw a cauterize effect onto Reaper. People he fires at who take at least 100+ from his shotguns receive -40% less healing for a few seconds. It wouldn't completely negate healing, but just make it not as strong on his targets for a few seconds. Give McCree some Armor Busting shots, which would allow McCrees shots to do bonus damage to Armor (It ignores the -5 damage and instead deals a little bonus damage to armor, but the bonus damage doens't bleed over into the person regular health) or Nerf Hanzo's Storm Arrow Damage (not sure how much). Make Brigittes ULT give 125 armor during ult, but the cap drops to 50 when her ultimate ends.

I feel like Ana should get buffed to block 25% of enemy healing when she shoots them and give a 25% healing bonus to allies shot by her. I would also make her her base healing 50 but she can get critical heals for 110 health upon critical health targets which would allow her to save key allies in an important moment of a fight(I.e. genji mid ult,lucio beat dropping, Mcree at 12:00) things to help her out but also raise the skill cap of her and increase thinking needed to play effectively.

I think Reaper should just ignore armor period. He's a tank buster, so it would make sense wit all the armor going around.

Soilder and Mcree don't need changes. Yes they both fill the same niche but that's a good thing. It's good for multiple heroes to fill the same niche because if that niche is really good in that meta, you aren't stuck playing the one hero that fills that niche. For example, I remember that Reinhardt and Lucio were basically must picks at launch and then for another like, year. Having multiple heroes fill the same niche increases diversity in games. Also, while they haven't been good for awhile, they don't need buffs. They are fair heroes and not too powerful when played perfectly. In my opinion, they should be the bench mark for balance in the game. The game should be balanced around Soilder 76 and Mcree, since they were designed to be the default heroes

I think if the EXTRA armor (not shield) could be completely ignored when someone gets headshotted, this meta would be a little more acceptable, you know, it actually still counts as extra health so takes a longer time to kill a support with 350+ hp... So skill based heroes that are now in trouble for can't kill anything even with headshots, would have a higher reward for those. English isn't my native language, so, here is the idea simplified: base hp: 200 armor: 175 total hp: 375 Bodyshot: X Headshot: Y Then... If Bodyshot: (total hp - X) If Headshot: (base hp - Y) Thanks for reading.

My Brigitte nerfs: Reduce self healing 25% similar to Lucio’s. Shield bash cannot stun through barriers. Shield bash stun time reduced from 1.0s to 0.8s Developer comments: she is bullshit and needs to get hit with the nerf hammer. Cmon Bliz make it happen.

The first thing they need to do to sombra is fix all the bugs she has. I do think the increased damage is a good idea.

As a tank main I would be ok with reaper getting bezerk, and only shooting faster for a short period of time.

soldier is better on attack, mccree is better on defense .. but they both suck cause of brig. Ana needs a damage boosting field similars to soldier's biotic field. sombra could use a bleed status effect similar to dark souls .. where if u pump enough bullets into a target they are inflicted with bleed and will take a massive hp hit. mccree flash bang elimanates armour buffs. armor piercing bullets whenever he ults .. retains them if he cancels ult. invincibilty frames when rolling. to projectiles. take a bullet ability. soldier was fine before brigg. torb needs a buff cause of brig. new dps character .. and a necromancer type character that can turn allies into zombies and a charactee with a drone ability

I like the Idea of makeing McCree a close range DPS (one of my Fav McCree time was whene he as a Fan the hammer that didn't suck so much and could actually kill Tank) I think they could give McCree about 250 HP insteed of 200 and give him better Fan the hammer to Melt ppl up close (probably less Recol or something so it don't fell like a Gamble), Also they would need to nerf his Range a bit. (AKA Damage at long range.)

For reaper add a ability that targets one Target and he can't heal or something near that with more restrictions if too op

People just don’t get it... there is a purpose for adding in Brigette and Moira into the support slot. Those dps that dive on Moira and Brigette should be punished because you literally cannot do that like you can with say a Zenyatta. People like to say, “oh my god look at how much Brigette is picked! Oh my god look at how much Mercy is picked!” Why does no one rank about how much Tracer/Genji are picked? 🤔. The game doesn’t revolve around the dps. The dps characters DO NOT carry the team, no matter what anyone says. If the team does not function together you’re always going to lose. Last thing. IT IS NOT HARD to kill Brigette and Moira. Are they harder to kill then Zenyatta/Ana? Yes... yes they are. Just because there is a Moira/Brigette/Winston/Zarya on the field does not mean you can’t play Genji. It just means that Genji player has to play 1000x SMARTER. He just has to poke more often then diving onto targets.

Brigette damage nerf, ana heals through barriers plus reload speed buff, Hanzo storm arrow damage fall off, Sombra hacks away armor just like shields, Reinhardt anti stun with shield up, Mccree and soldier damage values changed to true damage so armor doesnt negate their damage, Reaper attack speed cooldown which increase your attack speed by a little for a short amount of time to make him more bursty, and i think tracer needs her pulse bomb damage back to 400 even 350 will be okay.

I want blizzard to fix doomfist's rocket punch, I punch the enemy into a wall but the wall damage didn't connect making the enemy just grinding the wall. They said they fixed it and it did, but it came back.

Since Hanzo arrows are almost Hitscan speed right now how about making there hitbox the same as Hitscan. Or give him 150hp so he can get killed as fast as he kills.

Comnpetitive? WHats competitive. I only see arcade and quick play. No serious, Ranked is literally Quick play atm.

Ana buffs that are not terrible PLZ. You cannot do litterally anything with shots that go through people which is SO bad. We need a mechanical support who isnt terrible Buff healing amount Buff Bio nade last a little bit longer Buff fire rate Remove healing through people or change it so that it gives the orignal guy half of the healing. So you can charge and prep the tank like Brigitte ult but (no bash tho) Also trying to heal now means you acc drops GG blizzard anyone 2ho plays ana pre-diamond is screwed. Like the Soldier changes i would think that the rate where the gun starts to spread would fix it if it were slightly longer but make his damage slightly higher not by much. I would say that making his ROF higher would make at the lower tiers soldier into Super Meta as he could ruin tank comps with damage boosting

ana needs a sleep dart rework and a movement ability brigitte needs a shield bash nerf and roadhog needs a slight damage buff and rien needs a anti cc ability mcree needs a flashbang and combatroll buff and soldier and sombra need damage falloff buffs and accuracy buffs

Other dps like McCree and soldier aren't as bad as it seems bc Hanzo is better at burst dps

BUT I DONT WANT TRACER TO BE VIABLE. KEEP BRIG DAMAGE. Any rank below GM super enables Tracer smurfs. She has one counter, deal with it Joe!!

Rework rally. Its the only ult without counters. Armor balance does Not work in these amounts. Hanzo is not that Broken, he seems op because so many other dps are useless vs all the armor. Nerf the armor amounts and then look if hanzo is still a Problem. I think a increase in the time his ult needs to charge is all he needs. Reaper and soldier and maybe even sombra would probably also be fine without buffs if rally did not exist. I agree Mcree needs something, probably a buff to his roll and his ult and Ana still needs a bit more love to compete. Rally is the big problem of the meta tho.

I think you dont like projectile heroes apart from hanzo. Everything you just said apart from brigitte nerfs (even that kind of indirectly effects) and buffing reaper is essentially buffing the hit scans. The issue of the flankers, this is the first meta ever that they have a hard counter. As ı said in your pervious vidoes, every hero exsist with its counters and to be perfectly honest flankers got it easy they have 2 counters in form of support. When you think about a projectile hero like ı dont know pharah if ı started to list the things that can counter her regardless of which map she is being used, ı would have to need a larger space then this comment section. So buffing the heroes you just explained here will be the death of projectile heroes aside from hanzo. So the game would not be balanced at all. The only thing that ı agree on here is yes brig needs a some kind of nerf but not like they treated ana which made her completely useless. But again that was your opinion and this is mine l.

i dont really get the baguette complains anymore, if your team plays a certain way with the right heroes the enemy team are basically playing with 5 players for half of the match and she is forced to switch. doubt they will change anyhting major until s11 anyways.

How about instead of ruining Brig, making her into Ana 2 by either making her safely ignorable or removing the only job she should be used for, why not slow her down by a large amount with her shield up, making it impossible to over extend without giving the enemy team time to pop her shield. Without that she just dies. A REALISTIC and thought through nerf that keeps her job of punishing flanks and dive. Hope you eventually get over this negative kick, and hatred of Brig it is getting old quick.
