This MIL is the definition of toxic, and the fact she refuses to see that they lasted *years* being married before she found out and then divorced within the year is ridiculous, especially when she shoved his ex into every situation she could to break them up. Now that they're both heartbroken and schemer is trying to force him to marry *her* the MIL is on her side and will even go so far as to ambush her ex-DIL at *work* to tell her to stay away because she seems to genuinely think it's impossible for him to still want to be with her instead of the schemer. Though the look on her face when her son is obviously upset and she's still trying to act superior is disgusting. She deserves to never see the FL's child since she and the schemer are the main reason they divorced in the first place.

Both, ML and FL are like fish on land....they can not speak, they can not breathe....but even a fish has more backbone than this ML. One of the biggest mommas boys in the history of c drama....I bet, his mommy tells him, when to go to bed, when to brush his teeth, when to go to work....I bet she tells him bedtime storys and he is enjoying all this, he needs all this, he can not even get dressed without his mommy telling him what to wear....I really, really, really hope, that this woman grows up fast, breaks off all ties and contact to mommy and her boy and gets to live a happy life far far away from the spineless, wimpy mommys feet licking worm!
Why so scared to speak up to this rude woman only the employee have guts to speak up just ex-husband and ex-wife at punkish. Tell the woman how you really feel. I’m a stop watching this drama is sickening.
Essentially down cultural norms as showing respect for elders……unfortunately the monstrous MIL has taken her role of the matriarch to extremes, expecting her son to follow her wishes with blind obedience. Even after marrying into a household, women are seen as the outsiders…..she clearly did not approve of her son’s choice of partner.

The mother in law was naive to believe the manipulating mistress. She knew the real character of the real wife and yet discarded her for the little minx 😡🥴😱 can’t the writers write better stories? Same old same old narcissistic narrative 👎 and always a pregnancy false or real is used as blackmail and a pawn. If you get yourself in a mess like this in real life, RUN!
