Is this all that Hero is capable of ? Assembling components imported at huge cost and sold as HERO product? Why can't Hero try and compete with global companies by doing its own R&D?

Do not buy this... I have bought a Hero Lectro Electric Bicycle from Hyderabad n the spokes of the rear wheel keep breaking. The mechanics r not expert enough to fix the spoke by adjusting the tension properly. I going to file a Cade in the consumer court. Their after sale service is third-class.
Despite the specifications and it having a mid drive motor I don't see the need for 10 gears, a belt drive would do a perfect job; reducing not only the weight but the price too and all because it's not throttle driven .
I'm not really that much impress with any eBike of Hero Lectro Models. It's look like they are dumping all overseas reject or outdated model with new rebranding selling here In India, there many small startup they have much cool look eBike with good spec like removable battery so it easy to charge at home or office and folding feature easy to carry in car or small lift some good brand are Switch, Tezlaa, Elektron etc
🐉I buy this bicycle myself and it's very good and its cost me around 145000 in Odisha bro 😁 but I have one problem in this bicycle it's saddle is uncomfortable because it's too small 😭
How over priced the yahama pedal assist it's self is very expensive product ... And the components it's offering is deore .. grp set .. a standard cycle offered with a deore grp set any costs anywhere between 40 to 60 k .. and u can add up the cost of the pedal assit and the all the other things it's fairly priced .. for the componets that hero is giving out
No doubt all the components of this bike are top notch quality. But unfortunately overpriced. Similar specs ebike eMotorad EMX @ ₹55000/- with rear suspension as well 😜
I have the EMX which is a very good value for money bike but the 35nm torque, is not enough for where I live. I.e., hills with upto 30% gradients roads in my commute route. I need the EHX20 or similar bike with mid drive motor giving 80nm of torque if I am not to be embarrassed on the extreme climbs on my commutes.
