I hate male covers of Mariah's songs. Most guys can't and/or don't bother learning all the subtle trills and runs but you do. You've got such a light, agile voice.
The greatest strength of any singer is holding back. Don’t give it all until the last minute. The beauty lies in the earlier verses where you really restrain your voice, and then you shock with the last part where you reveal your voices true potential.
What impressed me about this is your mastery of your voice. You don't seem tempted to sing outside your range (which is a good range), even if this is a Mariah Carey song. Where do you get the accompaniment?

Hi Ian, I just love your version of this song, you are a very talented young man. I was wondering if you would be okay with me using this song on a slideshow presentation (I would credit you). My son had a serious spinal cord accident and has been working so hard to regain strength and function in his body over the past 18 months. He is doing extremely well and is considered a hero to many others facing the same injury. He would like to inspire others to not give up and find the hero within themselves. You should definitely do more Mariah covers. All of the guys on RU-vid that cover her are too high or have a ridiculously strong foreign accent. Please do more. They're great!

Awesome job! Many people try to sing this song copying Mariah's voice and every riffs and runs and end up sounding awkward, because the truth is no one can sound like her. You sing this song with your own voice and skills and yet still do it justice. That's what makes it even better. Keep up the good work!
