Hope it worked for you! For me, it's been great. There was only a single day recently where I did super bad. My opponent just had everything, and I was drawing not even decents hand. But it was only that day. The rest of the days, the decklist has been pretty solid for me
I agree so as well. But imo the new evil hero dont mix well with Omni HERO variant. You make going first stronger, but it's also more bricky, and going 2nd, it's weaker to break boards
@SinTreguaX I wouldn't be too sure. You should watch "Duel Evolution" RU-vid video on his Omni Hero build with the new Evil Hero cards. He created a TCG 48 card deck build. He was able to build his field despite 2 or 3 interruptions from the opponent.
@blazingace1699 I saw his video. Going first, hero can always go through multiple interruptions if you have a good hand. Every duel he showed going first had a great hand and ways to make the board. That won't always be the case, and he showcased the best hands. Going 2nd, he always had interruptions and was able to flat out stop the opponent. And this is not me bad mouthing his efforts or putting the video down, it's not that, I'm just trying to be honest, in my opinion. And all of this, I mean it mainly for master duel, since Maxx c exists and almost always will stop the deck unless we draw the out
@SinTreguaX I somewhat agree with that. It's true that he had a few hand traps that helped going second. The issue with the deck is space and how to manage it with your hand traps. Also, I agree with Master Duel. But that's a whole different beast. But seeing all of you playing it gives me hope that we'll find a good balance with the new cards.
@shadowspector3611 you actually made me remember that I did face brufmaster once in ladder 🤣 he went first, but I believe i did a well placed imperm and was able to stop him. Then, on my turn, I went full gas, and unfortunately, I don't remember him having anything. I also faced kanak (big blackwing player). I went first, and I was playing tellarknights, and I got Maxx c'd, unfortunately. On his turn, he was able to out my bagooska easily and go for game. After the duel, I went to his stream, and his hand was absolutely nuts 🤣
I've been playing Omni HERO for more than a year straight, play testing different builds and ratios all the time, and in my personal opinion, I think 60 is better. You can get away with 40, 45, 50, etc, but you will brick with every version despite the deck count. With 60, I'm less likely to brick if I maximize every good card, and I also have space for more non engine to stop my opponent. Since you're new to the deck, I would recommend around 40 to start with. If you feel like you're bricking too much or that you're missing something, gradually increase the deck count until you feel comfortable
@crazyx Well, always remember it's not guaranteed, and when you play 40, you have a higher chance of drawing droplets, but you also have a higher chance to draw everything else, including bricks. For me at least, I found that if I go 60, I can still draw bricks, but I can draw even more cards that I need that I wouldn't be able to play if I stuck it to 40 cards
