Fan lyrics to Miki Sayaka's theme from Puella Magi Madoka Magica!
Lyrics and vocals are my own, but the background track belongs to the creators of Madoka Magica. Image is "Descretum" by MonkeydanceGuy (dA).

This is beautiful. I'm so glad to have found a fanvocal cover of this song, and one with great lyrics. The only defects I see are the quality of the microphone and sometimes the low sound of the music itself. But other than that? The voice is gorgeous, and the lyrics embody Sayaka's character. They have a bittersweet feeling, embodying the tragic irony of Sayaka by the time Decretum plays when she fights against Elsa Maria. I wish you could re-record this with a better mic, for what it stands it's an amazing version I wish it was more known.

Thank you; this makes me so happy! I actually did receive a slightly better mic for Christmas, and I've improved in my mixing since I made this in late summer. I'd love to re-record this sometime (I'm working on recording the companion piece, Symposium Magarum, so it would be fitting to redo this one!). I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :)

Has much more to do with your microphone, I think. But in any case: bravo! You've completely captured Sayaka as the idealistic magical girl she was at the beginning of the series.

Thank you! Right now I'm still using the built-in microphone on my laptop, but hopefully soon I'll find a better one that I can afford. I'm planning to release a fancover for Oktavia's theme pretty soon as well. :)

good lyrics, however I think it didn't captured Sayaka's tragedy properly. After all this theme is only played when Miki experienced mental breakdown, when she realized that she was 'foolish" and her efforts are fruitless...
