I love this show. I used to have the DVD years ago and I still listen to the soundtrack when I go to the gym or out walking. Wish it was still touring.
Oh the memories. I saw this show twice. My friends and I used to go to as many Tait (Michael Tait’s band) shows as we could back in 2003-04. We hung out with the guitarist, Justin York, several times. He was really cool to the fans.
This Rock Opera brought many to Chris the Bible clearly states no word goes void Hero also introduced many to Christian Rap ( which I love ) David Crowder also adds Christian rap into many of his songs .Great Combination no doubt about it
I bought this album in 2004 graduating boot camp going to Airborne school. That was a whole life away. 20 years goes so fast but I'm so glad that He rules over time. This brings me back when life was so much easier but I'll say He's never never left me. In all that I've been through, He's never left me and I can't wait that soon soon He's coming to get me. Bye
Glad I'm not the only atheist here. I don't believe in any of this anymore. However to play the devil's advocate. the concept of a Christ returning in modern times is still a pretty interesting concept. I wonder how many Maga mega church pastors he would reject him and how perfectly the Icon depicted here resembles the modern church.
The thing is I see so much POTENTIAL to make this a good show people could contact with under the pounds of synth, near non existent story and terrible clothes to be a work that could even go the preaching route

Wow this play us terrible. Like what is even the ot. These pecan barely sing the chorus us lipsyncing like what?! The album does a better job conveying the story. Iloved the songs and still do. Idk what this foolishness is lol. But it is fun to watch while drinking.

I found a !Hero The Rock Opera CD in the garage, copyright 2003. It only has a few tracks on it, but at some point in my childhood this CD actually meant something to me. I had no idea about this live performance. It also has URL to www.herouniverse.com on it, that domain no longer exists but its likely available on the Wayback Machine.
