'joining ya in appreciation of Dark-Angel-sensei's wisdom, insights and care! Your video here is one that I rewatch every once in a while after I restarted playing the game for some reason... I spend light on Hero Wars, but your advice on focusing on the classic core OSH team and Corvus helps me find focus on a balance between advancing in the game and not overspending! This advice still helps light spenders as well...! Thank you again!
as an f2p player (level 81) i've taken a different approach because i accepted that there's no point in trying to become the best, the most powerful as fast as possible. long-term goal, sure, but why do I need to invest hours and hours into the game each day? teally like this video and the fact that you distinguish between "top heroes in the game" and "heroes that get stuff done" because i think even if you level different heroes, if you ever get confused you can just fall back on a foundation.
Great video! I'm a pretty weak f2p player (level 92). I have similar setup, but with Aurora instead of Corvus. I like Aurora better because her dodge is strong and will be even stronger late-game (with violet Cain).
Great video, I was just starting to work on this team myself. I have Martha, Nebula, and Dante already and should will be getting Sebastian and Jhu soon. I can get Isaac or Corvis with my next soul stone chest. Who would you grab first to start leveling up? I have Asta as a tank I have been leveling with my starter hero set that I have started to transition out of. I am level 61. I play on Web.
Agree, except Corvus because I don't have money to train tank. I know that he is good though. I also train Dante and the meta team for Osh and also vip 13 lol.
it will take some time indeed... but you can speed p the process using your monthly free soulstone chest.. on your 28th loggin. each month... also big events will help you get heros faster.. like summerfest or spooky fest just to name 2 of them... spooky fest is at the end of oktober so thats pretty near i would say..
As a new player, which one of these is more.important to get first? I have dante only and in a few days i can get 50 souls stones of my choosing in a chest
actualy... the first weeks /months you have to try and get by with what you have,,, i made this video so you know where you need to go..But the faster you get those heros the better. And no i didnt say they were the BEST.. just making sure you understand that those 7 heros give you the things you need to get by in.
Another F2P player who ranks under 30 in the arena, Dante is a massive equalizer ( I often beat teams twice as big. i am 530k -ish, and I beat 900k-ish teams) if you really know what you are doing. And if you are using Dante, don't forget to upgrade your Cain too.
And when it comes to Martha, she activates her skill very slowly and she heals herself at the most. So i don't like her except for campaigns. She's almost useless in arena
1. 6:03 sorry, but what kind of argument is that? You assess Astaroth by his damage potential ? Seriously? Why not use this criterion do downplay Martha, then ? Or any other healer, support, control who does not deal much damage ? I know that Astaroth might look unappealing, been there myself. But that's simply because bad team composition. He's fantastic and a great option to fend off those super-fast Dante-tank teams. 2. Cornelius is another good option against Osh, not only Jhu. Now Lara too, but Lara is impossible to max (6-star) for F2Ps. But maybe Jhu better for F2Ps than Cornelius, I don't know. But I've used Cornelius too in Adventures and PvP (CoW) against mages, and boy, he's fantastic. He's also good for Chapt. 14 and 15, but see point 5. 3. But overall solid advice. That's why classic Dante-tank is so good: It shares many resources with Osh meta: Cain, Albus, Axel, Sebastian, Nebula, But it kind of needs Jet and Fafnir too to shine :( Some people play Jet against Osh too. That's why I personally modify and extend this advice a bit: Gather 2 decent teams and 2 teams only: Osh & Arena/GW. If you need slightly more leveled heroes than 7, then fine. As long as it gets you high in the arena ranks to earn some decent emeralds to cover leveling costs. But I'm on a relatively young server, I'm able to compete in Arena top30 with ease. If Arena top100 is unachievable at your server, you may have to limit yourself a bit more when choosing what to level. 4. I hate Fenris, the worst pet in the game. Misty Kathrine thinks that too. Patronage skill is a joke, along with patronage of Khorus (but Khorus is fantastic as a team pet) But easy for me to say, as I play Cornelius against Osh, so I don't need Fenris. For you, might make sense to level Fenris. 5. I wouldn't care about Campaign, Outland, bosses at all. Everyone will pass Campaign eventually with any half-good team/heroes. Outland? As you have said: Who cares about frames? :) Building a good team(s) for PvP and Osh is what really matters. 6. I don't care about leveling 5 pets. The key in this game is learning what to ignore. Quests of leveling 3, 5 pets is one of those things. Initially, I leveled only Cain and Axel (I have a dodge team), now I'm adding Oliver and Albus for Osh. If I feel I need Biscuit for Cornelius, I'll level him too (Biscuit is a fantastic Ode to Serenity stripper, even at low level). But only then. For now, better to pump all the particles in my 4 primary pets. Keeping priorities in mind - e.g. do I need strong skill power for Oliver? No, just level his patronage gems. 7. Yasmine, Galahad crap - fully agree :)

Why was that Yasmin is a Badass behind K'arkh? I didn't see any Correlation between K'arkh and Yasmin, could you tell me? Oh One More, if you are a Corvus Team, then didn't you consider to use Morrigan? I see Morrigan is some one will be a Bad Match for alot of Hero / Team of Hero, as Dante / Rufus / Astaroth / ect.

I have started building up this team (lvl 85 atm.) and I would really appreciate some insight into what are the priorities (in general) when you are levelling such a team. What specs to focus on (e.g. get main artifacts on all 7 heroes to 3 stars and blue lvl asap, or focus on skins first, or get all 5 pets on blue level to be able to patron all heroes etc.). Especially levelling up pets is pita, very slow and/or resource consuming.
if us FTP players keep playing we can become whales P2W players just reach that lvl fast but in the end we can become whales and compete thanks for the advice lol u are actually right about everything u said
since in the beginning choice is limited in heros.. just use what you get unlocked. as long as you understand the synergy between teams.. It can be confusing from time to time. But i suggest if you want to upgrade a certain hero you better read about him/her before doing that.. like abilitys and such..
You can use a tank to provide armor for protection... but like galahad wich is a tank doesnt really provide that.. he provide physical attack.. That is why he is not really loved in the game... some non tank heros are better in tanking then galahad..
we can write books on what to use and all.. but you have to make sure you compose a team and try to stick with it. I mean everything can be defeated . Sometimes it helps to look in arena rank.. and see what top players use.. ;-)
"You just need 7 heroes", well free to play Martha and Sebastian are hard to get. Getting Martha to 6star ftp is very hard. I've been doing this for like 8months now ansd I do have a 4star Sebastian, but my Martha is still 1 star. So the team that you are sugesting is not viable ftp. Ftp you need a team of heroes whose soulstones you can buy in the shop. Nebula is there, Maya, Judge, Dante, Corvus. But The same slot for Corvus goes to buying artifact stuff, so no. Or you can just accept that this game is absolutely ptw, there is no doubt. So play whomever you can get and have fun and forget about winning.
Mushy nice bro... she is well worth to invest in ... Damage dealing tank for sure.. a solid base for a magical team tbh... But i am not to fmiliar on magic synergy. i am a physical fighter . But i reccomend to do some guildbattles to try out .. Celeste would be a great addition on that team withe her magic attack boost to team.
@@dark-angel1784 She seems to be good for both physical and magical , and I always have 2 healers in her team , to boost up heals , hence speed up her attacks , so I have blinds almost most of the round , cuz Arachene is always paired with Mushy . Hope I can get more advice from you . Also which skin is best for Mushy ?
@@leftyriverfunforlife3411 Both Lunar and spring skin.. they both boost what she uses the most... Health for being a tank and MP for attacking... And since i am a attacker i would say Spring skin for more MP.
As a relatively new player, I found this advice... kinda useless. I have access to NONE of the highlighted heroes. Havent' even seen a soulstone for any of them. Listing the heroes is nice, but telling us how to get them would be more useful. I'm starting to get into violet with my current team, and feel like I'm wasting my time since I dont' have any of the 'good' heroes.
I know wher you coming from.. The thing is .. i had to use different heros as well.. but the video was ment to show you that whatever you do... do not start upgrading every hero you got . I understand and respect your opinion of this video being useless. Just know once you have acces to those heros you know what to do.. And yes i could mention this and that and so and etc... but i dont even think people will listen to me for a straight hour or 2. I wish you the best of fun in the game ;-)

I understand completly. thats why i made this video. ANd you can work around those heros and you dont have to persee take the same add on heros i picked. Tho only real fact is that the heros that form osh meta team are needed, and you can use them on other aspects in the game... me personaly pcked dante and corvus to bring in my upgrade pool. (wich i was trashtalked for many times) At the end of the day. you cant form the perfect team. but you sure dont need to upgrade 20 heros at the same time either. I really hope you enjoy the game and dont let whales ruin it for you.. ;-)
