In this video, I show you how I'm STUCK on the Chapter 8 Boss! This dude is the first real challenge I've faced from the Campaign, and boy was I going about it all wrong.

I went with Cornelius lvl63, 3*, violet, with skills at lvls 58,28,28,20. He very well decreased the skill of the boss, gave some Magic Defense and attacked quite hard with first skill. +Celeste, Astaroth, Phobos for paralyse and Lars as he is my top1 with high attack and high magic Defense. Except Cornelius, the rest was 71lvl. And got the battle for 3stars! Cornelius was a key.

I got the 3 star victory by using Astaroth lvl 79-4 stars, Galahad lvl 79-4 stars, faceless lvl 50-5 stars, Phobos lvl 52-3 stars and Martha lvl 61-3 stars. First round I leave them to power-up. I don't use any of their abilities. 2nd round I sometimes use galahad early to speed up the damage, but again leave him to power up his ability. Martha helps with this using her healing pots so no need to waste the abilities. For the boss, I use Phobos, then Faceless, then Galahad, then Astaroth (his shield soaks up the heavy blows), then martha to speed up everyone again. and repeat. Finally passed the level today, and tried it 3 times and got the 3 star victory level on each try. Hope this helps. Also my team level power was 67945

Create a manual stun rotation phobos, faceless, arachne, that's roughly 15+ seconds where he cant drop a nuke on you if you time it right, Ishmael also drops a stun on normal attacks if you have him

How do you manually trigger a stun with your keyboard? ..Setting to automatic won't trigger the stuns correctly? Advice please.

Ast, Keira, Celeste, Faceless, Phobos. Nobody died, and easy 3 stars! 2nd group died so fast from Keira that Phobos didn't have his ultimate, but was able to stall long enough with Ast and Celeste to get Phobos' stun off before copying with Faceless....Keira mowed him down!

I used rufus, it took me a while to get it by collecting coins from the big sand, but it was quite effective.

Umm...I was able to beat the boss at lvl 55, using martha, maya, orion, celeste and astorath with a grey pet albus.

3 Star Victory at team level 56. -Astaroth - 3 star, lvl 55, max skills + max items for level, 100% bonus on 1st artifact, random glyphs and random GotE -Krista - 3 star, lvl 56, max skills + max items for level, random glyphs and random GotE -Arachne - 4 star, lvl 55, max skills + max items for level, random glyphs and random GotE -Maya - 4 star, lvl 56, max skills + max items for level, random glyphs and random GotE -Martha - 2 star, lvl 55, max skills + max items for level, random glyphs and random GotE Ended with near full HP on all characters. All depends on RNG of the stuns from Arachne.

Just did it, Ishmael 71, celeste 71, phobos 64, faceless 59 and Thea lvl 66. I tried many combinations,but this one was perfect. A lot of healers you need.

How did you do it? I had Ishmael 75, celeste 75, phobos 69, faceless 61 and Thea lvl 75. Lost Ishmael in first round and failed miserably. I used pet Albus which is only level 53.

i am at at level 48 and i got to this stage of the campaign...looks like it is pretty much impossible to get through this guy unless you are at level 77 or so based on the comments...like i get to the 3rd stage of this mission pretty much full health and full energy with all 5 heros and the pet...but this guy destroys all the 5 in no time at the level I am at..as if it is nothing...looks like i am stuck for a while

I passed the Furnace with LV 67 team (Ziri 2* Violet 1, Galaha 3* Violet 2, Celester 3* Violet 1, Ginger 4* Violet 2, Mathar 3* Violet 2, Pet Oliver 2*). Almost death, exception Ziri and Mathar. Ziri was good with skill 2 that she reflected 100% damageed and skill 3 for survive

@@josephpham89 Ziri's skill 2 still reflected damaged but not 100% because lv of the Boss is 80 with higher than Ziri. I guess 80-90%.

I used Faceless,Thea, Astroth, Qing Mao and Orion at 70lv and the total power was only 68000, this team had enough damage to the boss, and I think Faceless was the key, he provided enough magic defense and used the ultimate skill tree times and then the boss died

I got lucky and beat it on the first try with Luther, Qing Mao, Arachne, Ginger, Thea. They were around level 56 and I had heavily invested in QM 6 stars, 40/60 skin, 24 GOE, 40/40 attack glyph. It was a slugfest and she got the last shot in before he did.

Lvl 72 , 161 total skill points for every hero, in between lvl 5 to 10 glyphs elements skin skills artifacts, team : ziri, Krista, Celeste, jorgen, lars Edit: I take back my words, above specific team is much weakers only in this match against Archdemon. Atleast lvl 75 is required with all skins,, glyphs, artifacts, elements to be atleast lvl 10 and above with total skill lvl of 220 or more for each hero, Or a team of Ishmael, faceless, Orion, phobos and any other hero can beat him even in lower levels

Most people wouldn't have Lars and Krista at this point, so I don't think I'd go with this team for a video. But thanks for the input! Glad to know they'd help.

At level 69 (3 stars) with the exception of Martha at 45, Galahad, Astaroth, Thea, Maya, and Martha. I maxed out all of the primary /useful skills for each character respectively

Lost Martha a second before Boss was defeated. So I upgraded Martha, went into final with maximum power - and lost Thea. Upgraded Thea, went in again - and lost Martha AND Thea. Zut!

I used Astaroth 65, Phobos 61, Thea 65, Daredevil 61 and Artemis 64 to get a one star win. All purple +1, with their gray and green skills at 58, blue skills 38 or 9 and purple skills at 1. Addendum: Did another round with the same combo and got 2 stars, maybe because they have a bit more XP. Got 3 stars on the 3rd try with the same combo. Did this to get 45 stars on Ch8.

Probably could have scored a 1 or 2 star win earlier, but for 3*: Level 67 Oliver + level 69 violet range: Keira, Astaroth, Phobos, Quing Mao, and Martha. Astaroth and QM were patrons. I'm not happy that I have to keep putting resources into Phobos, and BTW, where's the damned puzzle ?

Needed my heroes to get up to level 59 to get three stars in this level. Astaroth, Dante, Jasmine, Celeste, and Thea. Jasmine was evolved to 4 stars, the other 3 heroes were evolved to 3 stars.

I've just reached the Furnace. I'm @ level 53 and I don't have Celeste nor Martha nor Rufus. I do have Qing Mao and Faceless in my first team. Phobos is in reserve (incl. artifacts) and I'm leveling him up now to be strong enough. Orion and Cornelius are reserved for Outland but they, too, can be pumped up in reasonable time. Other usable heroes include Galahad (second tank and he is kept being leveled up as first reserve), Arachne (she has her artifacts; inactive but can be brought back and pumped up), Luther and Ishmael. Thea is my main healer but Maya is also good as a reserve and she is kind of tanky if she can activate her ultimate. Hopefully I pass through the Furnace @ ca. level 56-58.

This is a fun level, as you can’t get past it with your usual team by grinding more or throwing money at it blindly and leveling up some unless you are already using an antimage team. Took me two weeks and help from this video after reaching it with my level 56 main team. Cornelius is key and you have to get him to violet level. His special skills lower the damage recieved by the whole team in three different ways while dealing good damage himself. Throw in two healers , a good tank with team protection capabilities (anti mage rufus is best, but astaroth is also good) and a damage dealer and your done. My team was all 3 star astaroth 61, celeste 61, lars 61, thea 55 and cornelius 55. Total team heroe power around 61k with the first three from the main team also having some glyph, artefact and skin upgrades.

@Zaza Nagy, thank you! Cornelius *is* key, or at least was for me. I've been banging my head against this level for a week or more. I tried many combinations of heroes. When I read your post, I upgraded Cornelius to violet, leveled him up to 66, and I got close to beating the level, closer than I'd ever been before. Then I dropped Celeste for Thea and put a bit more into glyphs for health and magic defense. I got it in two tries on auto. Total team power is 71.4k. Astaroth (4*, level 67, violet+2, 16.2k power), Maya (3*, level 66, violet, 9.7k power), Arachne (4*, level 67, violet+1, 14.3k power), Cornelius (2*, level 66, violet, 6.7k power), Thea (3*, level 66, violet+1, 12k power), and Oliver (1*, level 61, green, 12.3k power). Arguably, another key is having weapon artifacts at 3*. Arachne's weapon is still 2* but the others all have 3*.

OMG I barely failed today... I used Thea, Phobos, Faceless, Jorgen (level 50), Astaroth and Oliver (pet, level 48). Jorgen can slow him down in refilling his energy while dealing a decent amount of damage. Phobos + Faceless + Jorgen is a great combo and Jorgen still has no artifacts at all(!), he is only level 50 and blue+2, not purple! It's indeed possible that I finish the Archdemon off with team level 53 or 54. A few more levels and I'll be able to kill the Archdemon with no casualties. The stage before the boss was not easy either because of the presence of a super-duper strong Judge. If I can not finish him off in time he still causes me a lot of trouble. Using the team mentioned above, I cleared it with 2 stars. Jorgen pretty much shuts down ANY magic attacks and enemy ultimates for a lot of time.

I don t want to lvl up any heros of the stun lock team because i am a free2play player and no one of them are in my main team. But i had Thea, Cornelius and Faceless lvl 50-55 laying around. Make sure they survive til Archdeamon and u win. My team was Thea, Cornelius, Faceless, Astaroth and Rufus. Good luck and have fun !

Yes! 99th like! What combo I used was similar to yours, Charlie, but I used Aruora instead of Galahad and Cain as a pet. I tried Oliver too, though.

Rufus negates most of the AOE damage if you have him leveld up and you will walk that guy. I use luther rufus ishmael celeste and martha and i can use auto . The shield from Rufus and damage from ishmael and Luther tear him up , but the shield is the key my team takes hardly any damage , when i tried with out rufus my team got obliterated no mater what combo i took.

To make this easier on everyone looking for answers per my previous post....I got 3 stars finally using: Galahad - 77, Celeste - 77, Thea - 77, Orion - 77 and Faceless - 74. Combined Power - 83659 and no special skins used. I don’t know what the right combo of characters, level or combined power level is but Faceless was key for some reason.

Followed what people said in the comment section and went with Ast, Corn, Phobos and Faceless. Having Maya as the 5th is the key. First I went with Celeste for healer but ended up completing with just 1 star. Then I went with Maya and copied Phobos and completed with 2 stars. Next time I got Faceless to copy Maya. None of the heroes died and I could finish with 3 *.

This guy is TOUGH! Faceless and a two healer set seems to be key. I got three stars using Astaroth, Galahad, Celeste, Martha & Faceless. Use each special attack as soon as available EXCEPT FACELESS who needs to save his to go right after Martha each time. With him echoing Martha's heals I got an easy three stars after nothing but fails before that. I think this would work with any tank & DPS heroes you want, but Faceless and a very strong healer like Martha are key, as well as any second healer, but Celeste was pretty good in that second healer spot.

That was rly tough - loose 2 Heros but win - Dorian, Astroth, Faceless, Phobos, Thea - Lvl 55 all 3 Stars - Faceless copied the Stun of Phops - that was the key in my Battle

with 3*ishmael, celeste, astaroth, cornelius 2* martha at level 58, only 52660 combined power i used ishmael celeste, martha, asaroth and jorgen on tower and campaign, but the martha+cornelius combo is awesome against the boss.

OK...I am level 77 and I couldn’t get past him w/o the right combo of characters. Then I could only get 1 star. I just got 3 stars no problems w/ Faceless who is level 74 and everyone else is 77 and I used Galahad, Celeste, Faceless, Orion and Thea. I had tried Astaroth, Ziri, Elmir, Ginger, Luther, Fox and Cornelius in different combinations for Faceless and Orion keeping Galahad, Celeste and Thea. I think I even replaced Galahad at one point. Phobos is only level 62, Rufus is 52 and I don’t have Martha, Dorian, Jorgen or the twins to use which I have seen mentioned. I think Faceless is the key to winning and getting 3 stars. I am going to have to ramp up Phobos and Faceless a little bit now in case this situation is needed again. I think people need to post what combo of characters were used, levels, overall power level and anything else in particular they used like skin or something like that to help others out. My issue was getting more than one star b/c I barely squeaked that out.

I just passed him yday, I noticed I could pass him maybe 4-5 levels ago, i'm level 58, used very normal setup which is (luther, galahad, Jorgen, thea, martha), they key is how to use well martha ultimate and luther, then you can just go auto, easy trick is to just use luther at the very beginning of archdemon fight just before he summons, and then quickly use martha spell, then you can auto, true I didn't get 3* and only 1*.

only 16k power, with total team power 70k, but I guess that trick is only with luther + martha, but I told you that trick made martha + thea out of reach archdemon's cleaving range, so martha could easily heal the meteors damage without getting cleaved, thea were a bit low hp, she died at the very end, but thanks, and gz

I got 3 stars with Galahad, Celeste, Orion, Faceless, and Martha. Level 76. I failed with Astaroth, K’arth, Faceless, Celeste, and Martha. Seems like Orion is better than K’arth, and you need the damage of Galahad over Astaroth.

Galahad starts to lose his damage dealing ability as the game goes on. He's great at it, but he becomes more of a support to your other damage dealers. What I've found is that I've built a great endgame team (Astaroth/Karkh/Nebula/Faceless/Martha) but not so great for the Campaign!

Just passed this boss today and got 2star swapping Thea with my newly acquired Dorian at Level 68 on mobile, only Dorian died. Asteroth lvl68 Violet+2 4star M.Atk Skin, Markus lvl68 Violet+1 4star no Skin, Celeste lvl68 Voilet+2 3star no Skin, Daredevil lvl68 Voilet+2 3star no Skin, Dorian lvl68 Voilet+1 2star no Skin Grey Skill65 Green Skill53 Blue Skill Max Violet Skill Max

Completed 3 stars with Level 57 (all of them) Astaroth, Qing mao, Nebula, Faceless and Martha. Faceless copied Astaroth shield and all 5 survived.

Yeah can't get past this guy. The meteor followed by instant AOE melee attack that damages literally everyone on your team wipes out just about everyone except for the tanks.

Use Galahad,Jorgen, Phobos, Marthar and Achne those heroes gave me 3 stars on the Archdemon . Also don’t forget to go there with full skills ready to use. I hope this helps. Make sure to get them to level 55 at least. Get Galahad to 75
