Astaroth is a bad tank agree but is perfect protector. If the team has two tank lineups, everything will be different. Astaroth is also a good defensive team, it all depends on your experience how to use.

After using Astaroth in mobile for quite some time, his ult does no justice. It is only useful against teams that are significantly under-leveled. When you go toe to toe with enemies near the same level, it breaks automatically. Also, the shield slow energy gain for heroes. Nonetheless (on at higher tiers of strength), you would think it gets better, right? Not much improves. The devs troll players into wasting valuable resources. Hero Wars is, and always will be this way. When I decided to switch and Aurora on web, even at weaker tiers of strength, she soaks up damage like a sponge. There is a lot more she helps with when building a team. It is far easier to survive thanks to her dodge. Anyways, that’s enough for now.

Once I get to 130 (I'm literally 4 levels away, so it won't be long), I'm planning on focusing on an entirely different team, because mine isn't that great. My main team as of right now is {Celeste, Artemis, Astaroth, Isaac, and another leveled up hero depending on the situation}. It's not good, but it works until 130, and I'm in a low-ranking bronze guild that doesn't focus too much on guild stuff Thanks so much for the video

Hi Misty, i use the twins too. I'm with the twins on my Server under the Top 10. My Heros are not maxed (822k Team). I use Arachne as Tank with Mara, Krista with Merlin, Celeste with Khorus, Amira with Biscuit and Lars with Axel. My Team-pet is Khorus. This constellation is an dream. Amira is great against Dante, Yasemine and other twins Teams, Arachne (158k) is also great against them. In 90% i win with this Team also against Isaac Teams. I use Andvari as main tank and i don't lose much at all...probably a cause of my team being control/stun heavy

What do you think of the team I am currently using and my plan for the future? I invested in Astroroth mainly because the first thing I wanted to build was my strength against Red Hydras. He is my highest investment in terms of Artifacts currently sitting at 3 ⭐ for all three Artifacts in the level 30 range for all three Artifacts. I am using Helios which I got from the recent event as my highest star level for a unit which is 4. I have Galandof and Qing Mau which synergize with Helios due to Helios skills. Qing Mau being my main damage dealer by far in Hydra battles.The last character is Maya who is my healer. My plan is to build this team up somewhat swapping out new units as I find better synergies. It will eventually become my secondary team. My plan for my end game is to build Dante, Corvus, Martha, Isaac, Sebastian, Nebula, Jhu. I only have Dante and Sebastian currently.

I came up with a team that actually beats both the Holy Trinity+Twins team and the Astaroth, Karkh, Facless, Nebula and Martha team. The team is: Corvus/Oliver Morrigan/Axel Sebastian/Albus Lars/Mara Krista/Merlin Try the team, I did 3 times and every time they won.

Yasmine would have shredded them too, just saying. Unless there is a stronger Helios on the udder squad, my Yasmine is just straight up death

Great video! Also I have two questions. 1. Which skin should I go with first for krista and lars 2. I just got martha and am wondering if, until I get sebastian, as a level 60 would martha be a better option for now than thea?

Yeah it is all about finding the right Heros for your Line. Astaroth is not a Damage Dealer. If you need more Damage you would need another Tank or an extra Damage Dealer. You use Astaroth if you have a fragile Damage Dealer in second Position and you want Astaroth to mitigate some of the Damage and also revive that Hero if needed. Astaroth is often used with Warriors like Yasmine or K´arkh or some other fragile damage dealers. Against that Trinity Twins Team People propably wanted to use Iris and Isaac plus some strong damage dealers

I'm on day 4 of playing, I pulled Cleaver from the chest, I'm using cleaver, archaine, mushy and shroom, celeste and one more I can't remember. It's doing me ok so far but what hero's would u recommend I invest in? Thanks for the content.

you keep trashing Astaroth and yet you lose almost half of the battles in this video againt him with rest of the attacking team being a good counter to the defending team... by that logic he should lose almost all matches and not half of it... and from all tanks you tried only Aurora and Corvus (in some way) are in major use as maxed out heros... Who uses maxed out Galahad or Ziri... or... or Alvanor!?... there's a counter to every hero in this game - that's what makes this game so interesting. Astaroth's certainly not the best hero or even best tank but he could use as support and has resurrection as a great combo with baby arachne to counter some mighty expensive teams... and that's pretty cheap to get.

I can beat that team very easy by using astaroth as a tank. Just have to choose other heroes than the twins

Astaroth, "probably the worst tank" as you say is on defence too and won. Not Astaroth but the twins being too slow lost. Astaroth is probably the best tank: it is good with right combo against Iris, Twins, Dante, Isaac etc.

The absolute WORST thing about Hero Wars as a game is being forced to invest in heroes I DO NOT WANT in order to complete single steps in the campaign or other parts of the game. Other games with guilds allow guild members to trade resources... but not this one!! I think we ALL know why.

Now a days everybody is using Iris. And iris kills aurora in just a few seconds. It is very easy to kill aurora

yeah play only meta hero if you want to be on top ok but it is not all people wish

It is just stupid to claim that astaroth not should be used as a tank. In a lot of cases, he is better tank than aurora
