How much actually money have you spent on this game or is there a secret to getting that much stuff?

You can level up multiple levels at the low levels by clicking your largest XP potions at the top, and then clicking the picture of the hero instead of the green button. When leveling up a hero with the green button, keeping your largest XP potions highlighted will prioritize using those instead of using all of your smaller XP potions. That makes XP potion use more efficient.

Speaking through metaphors, you are "comparing apples to oranges". Because of game countering logics, dodge should counter physical damage, yet magic should counter dodge but excel against physical attack, therefore, it is not proper to judge about Fafnir on basis of battles where Aurora is involved. It would be more proper to test Fafnir with other challenges: a) can Fafnir help Ishmael to bypass crit-hit countering skill of Helios? b) is a boost from Fafnir helpful and sufficient to Ishmael against most popular Dante dodge teams? c) can Fafnir ensure that Ishmael can form tankless teams to some extent (and again, this should not be tested against double tank teams, but against teams which are lead by Galahad, Elmir, Arachne, Dante, Amira etc.)? Similar questions should be applied for testing the benefits of Fafnir to other agility heroes, for example, Artemis, Fox, Ginger, Daredevil and even Ginger.

Might Fafnir have much use in a timeout defense team with his buffs? His abilities look like they might be most effective in battles that last a fairly long period of time. I passed on getting him, since the items help my teams much more than Fafnir would.

use dante as a tank with fanfir

My Guess is that Fafnir will be used mostly with Heros like Yasmine, Keira, K´arkh and Ismael. And maybe those Teams don´t use Sebastian so the main Damage Dealer will always be the Agility Hero that gets the Buffs and the Shield from Fafnir. These Teams can be very fun to play but I have to say that Arachne Maya Team is nasty

it litally useless for me because when you make him green tier and others he dosent even do damage also buffs are kinda useless

Try using Ishmael as only agility hero

MK, Fafnir melts Rufus teams. I think he was developed for that hard to kill Rufus because he just smashes him.
