Great video =) I would like to give some opinions that might complement yours in some cases, and in others contradict. Arena shop I would recommend Chabba and Astrid specially if you were able to gain free souls in the special events. These make sturdy additions as tank and tank/shooter for campaign and also for grand arena. Match Chabba with Astaroth for strong double tank team both giving armor bonuses to team, and you can even add Astrid for another tank/marksman with armor bonus for team ahah... but that usualy wont trigger in arena battles because they tend to be fast unless teams are using many healers, vampirism, shields, etc, so a setup like that more useful on campaign. Bear in mind that without enough damage, your tanks will end up dieing to the enemy and you loose... a tip here: pair multiple tanks with mages against a physycal team to who you have difficulty handling with just one tank ;) Grande Arena shop - Rufus is a definetly get him, maybe around lvl 60 before you need to take the fight to 8-15 say at lvl 69-75. He can be used greatly in arena as well, and on tower. - I would also recommend getting Markus if you are having difficulty getting a 2nd or 3d healer for campaign, grand arena and arean.... ideally you would get Thea, then maybe later Celeste, Maya, Martha or Dorian... but those can take a big while and luck on chests, special events, etc. Markus is cheap option that heals more in my opinion than Mojo. So there you have it - Ismael is hard to get him strong and you will have to invest a lot, so not good for non-pay and low level players. But he might shine on the right team. He seems to be of use on Outland, but dont overinvest if you dont plan on really using him on your main team. - Wish i could talk about Lian, but not yet. Tower shop - Orion definately. Everywhere. - A lot of people use Kai but i have no experience to comment. - Dante as said elsewhere can be useful on outland, but no need to invest a lot. Highwayman shop - Faceless is very much used on high end teams often. Its a good bet. - Cornelius as a counter to mage teams and for campaign, like Rufus. Difference i think is Rufus is better at defending (huge shield), and Cornelius at attacking (intelligence skill) at least at mid lvl 60-70s, but this might change on end game max lvl. - Satori is a great DPS and totally destroys Jorgen. Great anywhere on the right team. Pair with Orion for magic penetration, and also good together with Celeste on a mage team. Outland shop - Jorgen like in the video would be the first best invesment. Great anywhere, and can stack with Nebula i suppose. - Qing Mao really useful for armor penetration and can pair with Keira or other marksman. Also great skills. - Elmir also gives armor penetration and another trick, which is his clones, just like Naruto! - Luther is an attacking tank that jumps on the backline of the enemy and because of that and his stats is greatly used on arena, but not just that. In my opinion there are a lot of good heroes in the shops to be used on 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams as well for speciallized uses, like certain counters for arena or campaign, tower, outland, etc, or to provide extra defense on defending teams.
Can you talk a bit about how to build a team with good synergy? So if you like a specific hero, what do you look at to find the other heroes that work best with that hero.
There are so many great teams out there! I absolutely plan to do team videos like this. The problem is that most people don't want to share their awesome teams!
I have to admit I do not agree with most of these answers - I am not a pro though so I may be wrong! Dante and Heidi are both fantastic damage dealers and Daredevil.. ok she's ok. Dark Star is pretty good and so is Judge! Artemis may not be the best but is not bad. I have a friend who uses Arachne and she's apparently amazing. I have watched all other videos as well and do not necessarily agree with those either? Lian is a beast if she is last one left on the team and markus isn't poor. Hope you agree, sorry for long text
Have been watching alot of your videos they really help! I got a question and hoping you will answer... Ik got my team at lvl38 and really want to get better at the game. My main team is astaroth galahad jorgen celeste and ginger but i don't know what to do. I want to get rid of galahad since astaroth is better as people tell me all the time, but should i go for a magic attack team then? And wich hero(es) should i get for my team?
Only go for magic team late game. After you get Lars and krista or satori or Orion and Helios before that make your team physical with asta or Galahad as a tank
LIke Dan has said, Kai is really only used in Karkh/Kai/Faceless teams. The Karkh/Nebula/Faceless team is debatably stronger overall, though, so I wouldn't recommend investing in him otherwise.
@@HeroWarsCentral I think part 3 can include how to use heroes means how to use Ziri, what is the best time to activate her skill. How to use heroes when in pairs like should we use Krista skill first then lars skill or vice versa. Which skills to upgrade and which should be avoided.
This is maybe unrelated to this series, but I think an interesting video would be how to best spread resources for leveling and how to gain the most power for arena. I know, for example, when I buy emeralds I most likely waste some when I could have saved for better uses. Also, I'd be interested in perhaps more detail about when and where hero's become better for particular situations. In your video you mentioned some hero's are better for certain match ups. These are questions I have as a noob anyway. Thank you!
Mate.. I really hope you answer this question. You did mentioned that Ginger is better than Darkstar... What if I put Darkstar with Dorian in a team, her jumping backwards will benefit vampirism... Some fella say, Darkstar is better than Ginger
DarkStar is actually really good, in the right team she's amazing. The current problem is that area of effect damage is king, with Martha being so popular. Her primary healing comes from her conjured totem, which can only be destroyed with an area of effect attack like Ginger's. That being said, pairing DarkStar with Dorian would be a great idea. She's pretty powerful against a strong hitter up front (like a team that uses Krista to tank instead of a real tank). Sometimes people even use Ishmael or Karkh to tank, and against those teams she'd shine! Finally, I'd say give her a try against any non-Martha team. I'm happy to run some tests for you, if you had a team in mind!

I'm curious about Luther's "very specific arena team". I assume this is the Luther + Astaroth + Martha + (one more healing and one damage dealer) that I see so frequently in the 100-300 arena ranks. Anyone know a good combination to beat this?
Depends on several different factors. Maya and Dark Star are both useful against Luther as they pull him out of the back row. Likewise at higher levels Jorgen can suck out enough energy to stop Luther from jumping and at lower levels he still slows down the jump. Qing Mao likewise will be able to hit both tanks at the same time, which makes it easier to kill both of them by lowering both of their armor. So you could run something like Astaroth, Qing Mao, Jorgen, Dark Star/Maya, Celeste/Martha as just one example. or if you have a really strong Ginger/Keira you could just remove Qing Mao, or you could even drop DS/Maya and just hope that you can kill Luther either before he jumps or soon after he jumps.
@Anphavelt Martínez It's also a nightmare because Astaroth is siphoning off the damage that Luther takes, making him even harder to kill. But both Dark Star and Maya can get him out of the back row. Or since he stands in front of Astaroth, an enemy Jorgen can stop him from being able to ever jump. Plus a Luther+Astaroth+Martha setup runs the risk of having damage problems (though against an enemy Martha it can still reasonably work since Luther shuts down Martha's healing). As for dodging abilities, it really depends on where he lands. Sometimes he lands far enough back that people like Galahad and Qing Mao don't turn around but Ginger does. Sometimes he lands far enough forward that Ginger keeps facing forward but the other two turn around, and even still he can land in a spot where Ginger faces forward AND the other two don't turn around. But yes, he often turns at least a few important people around.

If you're speaking about Lars/Krista, that duo is very strong. In fact, my server is dominated by this team. You can add in a decent tank (or just use Krista as a tank!) Jorgen, Martha, they're solid!

First of all, thank you for the kind words! With what you've got, I would suggest holding off on using Andvari until you can get him to Violet. Until then, his skills just aren't as good as Galahad's. Plus Galahad and QingMao pair very well together!

Any advices on my team Astaroth, galahad , Keira, ginger and Thea? I think it lacks of control may be, by replacing Keira or ginger? By Cornelius or Jorgen? I have also Karkh.. Thank you for your advices and keep up your great work!
My advice would be to pick either Ginger OR Keira with BOTH Cornelius and Jorgen. I'm about to do a video on a top free 2 play team that starts with Astaroth/Keira and then a mix of other heroes for support. You gotta find a new healer though. Thea doesn't end up being that great later on.

@@barbejut1 You'll want to keep either Keira or Ginger, with Astaroth and Celeste. The other 2 slots you can mix and match Galahad, Cornelius, Jorgen, etc.
and my team andvari(has more health comp to galahad),elmir(my fovorite),judge(i have jorge but his force field is better because it is used soon),ginger,astrid and lucas(main skill helped me most of the times in arena.team power = 30384(current)
Why is Dante bad? I run a Galahad, Qing Mao, Dante, Keira, Martha (sometimes swap Martha for Andvari or Astaroth) team at level 55 (web) and he's a real killer

@@mattwilson1034 I haven't had a chance to update this video yet. Sorry! Kai is good on a Karkh team, if your team is going against a lower level team. He's great for Tower clears. Decent for non-boss campaign missions, though Orion is better there.
I believe that Luther really shines on defense. If you're building up a team to defend your spot in the Arena or Grand Arena, Luther/Astaroth and Martha/Celeste would be amazing!
Thea sort of loses effectiveness later on, but shes the only available hero at the start unless you get lucky or there's a monthly hero event. Her healing output just isn't as good as Martha or Celeste, Maya, and her silence seems to miss quite a bit. Her speed buff is extremely helpful with slow hitting heroes on the front lines, like Jhu. If you're on FB I would suggest buying Maya stones with Tower coins. If you're not, unfortunately you won't get an alternative unless you're just lucky.

Ziri/Ishmael is a fantastic combo! I don't personally like Ziri, because she only really tanks half the time. She pairs really well with a strong defensive hero like Ish, Jhu, or Heidi.
