Secret wish: Noro's Playthrough of the Campaign. Noro got much experience during the last years of playthroughs. Even his early playthroughs, which showed his mistakes, were very valuable. His strategy is outstanding. I honestly didn't saw anyone that play these maps that effectively. So, my wish still stands.

POV: You're 15 years old and it's Christmas Eve in 2000. Your hope is high, as you talked and talked about it. You don't own any HOMM game, but you're rented them and borrowed them from a friend so many time... You nervously unwrap your gift... And there it is, in all it's glory, the so desired Heroes of Might and magic trilogy! What you'll never expect is still playing these games 23 years later (and still suck at it, somehow). I really enjoy your playthroughs and it might help me improve, finally!

Thanks for the content! Carpe iugulum can mean seize the throat or neck. Hence why the major veins in your neck are the jugular veins. Latin is everywhere!

I hate hero chains so much. It's such an obnoxiously gamey, nonsensical mechanic and would have been one of the first things I obliterated in a general balance pass. Yes, I'm salty that I never figured it out as a tiny bab when I first played, but I stand by that it's utter wank. Cool video by the way, I enjoyed it a lot.

Hello Noro! I am a huge fan and have spent many an hour watching your different series. I love homm3 and truly appreciate your playstyle! You are fun to watch. Without trying to be needy or ridiculous, I just wanted to request a potential homm 5 series. I believe 3 is the best by far, but I feel you would bring a fresh take, perform amazingly, and describe any contrasts that you feel make it better/worse. I remember watching my dad play homm5 when it came out, all 5 install/play disks and all, and would like to relive that a bit with my favorite homm youtuber. Additionally I would like to see you murder the game with necromancy, as I believe it is also broken, and I think there are skeleton archers? Just a request :). Thanks for your videos!

@Norovo thank you for the response! Since I replied I have seen a couple of different people playing it. The two were vastly different. One was playing it very slowly and imo poorly. He was learning, good on em. The other was a broken run, and I thought of your playstyle as the desired outcome. I won't speak for anyone else, but I would say I am okay with watching you "learn". You're a smart cookie, you'll get the individual nuances quick.

Why spend resources on upgrading production buildings when you have hill forts?

In HOTA, the price to upgrade units at the hill fort is now double the original cost, plus it can't upgrade tier 6-7 units. I haven't played HOTA yet but it's clearly changed the hill fort to be more strategically used instead of a no-brainer.
