I love these books. The backstory of each one of them is heartbreaking but also beautiful at the same time.

I cannot get over that part when Annabeth flips Percy. Why do I always cry for,"Bob says hello?"

Guys we are part of this family we were there on all of their adventures we were there when Jason died we were there when percabeth fell in to Tartarus we were there when Leo went Calypsos island we were there for all of it every moment small moments big moments sad moments happy moments confused moments mad moments we were there and we laughed and cried and screamed with them and we yelled and screamed at them and laughed at them cried about them we know them we know who they are we know their life story we know how they are when they are mad we know that they can be emotional we know Leo uses humor to hide his sadness we know Annabeth wants her mother it be proud of her we know Jason was raised by wolves we know Percy grew up without a father figure we know piper wants her dad to notice her we know frank’s life is always at risk we know hazel wish’s she could see her mom and Sammy again we know all of this we were there for their ups and downs we are as much part of that family as they are we are a huge part of that family and we are proud of it

You were shocked when Frank transformed for the first time. The mark of Athena, you got stuck with the heart wrenching tale of Annabeth and Percy falling into Tartarus. You waited a whole year for the House of Hades to come out. You met Calypso, instantly shipping Caleo. And then you found out about Nico. You were shocked, but you grew to love him even more, accepting him for who he is. You finished the series, tears streaming down your face. Tears of happiness. You grew up with fictional friends. Everyone told you they weren’t real. You didn’t listen. You loved your new friends, even though they could never meet you. You still have the worn hardcovers sitting on your now huge bookshelf. You despise the movies too. This is our fandom. We love and accept everyone, wether colored, or LGBTQ+.
