This build for beasts was difficult for me for some reason. I tried to have a few free chimaera with chalgra, put quilboar, ghoul, murlocs, eggs, safe pilot and chimaera, 1 phase the same and 2 my 2 chimaeras just ate this poor dude.
Hello friend! All good? I have a problem. In the Horde round, the AI plays a Pyromancer at the top, different from how it is in your video, which completely changes the round. Can you help? Thanks for your help as always!

Your starting hand and the opponent's starting hand are randomized at the start of the game. In campaign missions, this randomization is done once, and then it stays the same until you beat the boss. Therefore, when you are defeated, you and the boss both have the same minis available on your next attempt. You can then adjust your strategy to accommodate what the boss can do. The boss does not always play all the same minis: what you do affects its decisions. But it has the same hand, so the same minis available.
Note that the randomizer applies to army slots, not specific minis. If you change the minis in the slots, you can manipulate your starting hand. Old Guardian has made a video about this. ;)
Beast one is harder when you are higher level then what you are, The pilot + whelps trigger it sooner, so the boss comes with pyro on the same time and if you hold back you get overwhelmed. (avg level 24) not sure what to do/change
There are so many variants that it's hard to say based on the description, but you can try to contest the chest and delay the Eggs+Safe, and kill the Pyro before the boss comes, or you can try to delay or kill the Pyro to get the boss in first. Blizzard can potentially make space for something t handle the Pyro, or you might be able to use it to kill the Pyro.
@@OldGuardian I changed out blizzard for execute, so that i had less gold to spend, and that ended up the key. Funny how levels sometimes can make it harder! I do like you picking this up again! Huge help for me as a limited time player, I can just look you up and copy paste rofl.. wauw that sounds.. yea.. both good and bad :)
The guide works fine, however I'm seeing when I have whelp eggs and SAFE in my opening hand, I almost 1 shot this boss. Several times these minis are at the bottom of my deck and cycling through to get them is when I struggle
If you need them in your opening hand, you can change their positions in your army after the random seed for the boss has been determined. For Heroic fights, the opening hands are randomized only after each win, so they will stay the same until you beat the boss. The hands are based on the army slots, not the specific minis, so simply replace a mini in your opening hand with the mini you want there, and you will have it immediately.
For others who might be having hard time - I did this using Abomination and Frostwolf Shaman giving him Armor. Then shooting it down with Pyromancer. Abomination was tanky enough to be able to survive Gish and other attackers, Pyromancer had good enough damage to shoot down Gish. Think I had Abomination lvl 25 (using Diamond slot), other minions around lvl 21-22
After the random seed for a campaign mission is set, you always get the same army slots in your opening hand. Change the position of the minis in your army, and you can choose which ones start in your hand.
