Is it normal that the ad occasionally can spawn in the tanks positions ? We always have 3 people outside, yet very often the fire and the ad brinngs chaos on the tank position.
You need to make sure your tanks and healers/melee/non parasite ranged are CLOSE to the boss. Max melee range will still spawn adds as that's far enough to be eligible as a target.
Holy paladins are notorious for standing just far enough from the boss to spawn adds in melee. Have them stand closer if you have one that you notice is standing at max melee range during the fight. Cheers!
best strat is having everyone stack in melee, except the tank tanking magmaw, an offtank kiting the adds out in range with 2 hunters using traps. EZ MODE.
On 10man you can nearly solo the parasites with a Boomie's well placed mushrooms. Literally takes 2 sets of mushrooms and maybe a multi shot from a hunter and they're dead. Ele shamans are really good at killing them as well.
I personally do the adds kite on Wind Conclave with the frost DK. If you want I can send you a video showing how I do it if you want to make a commentary about that boss too. It makes the boss a lot easier
Finally an expansion where casual guilds can have long progression periods. WotLK had mostly total faceroll raids except for ICC, which incidentally was by far the most enjoyable to raid. It's been refreshing to make steady progress without sweat, knocking out one or two more heroic bosses each week.
