Hello everyone! This video is a non-narrated recording of the Theralion & Valiona encounter in the Heroic Difficulty Bastion of Twilight (BoT) Raid done as a Fire Mage in Phase 1 of the World of Warcraft Classic Cataclysm Expansion.
I definitely don't play the best here - not that it's an excuse but I am the Raid Leader so I am also focusing a lot of my attention on doing callouts and what other players are doing. This was our first time defeating this boss and it was quite sloppy. I didn't parse particularly well, and definitely could have played a lot better. That being said, I thought that people might want to see this fight from a Fire Mage's point of view. I hope that you enjoy the video and find it useful in some way!

There is so much stuff on your screen. How do you play with this ui? Timers on your raid frames and Timers on your Timers! Double cast bars, 3x Living Bomb trackers...W/A tracking and not tracking timers and not being properly highlighted while others are..As I continued watching the video you have TIMERS COVERING YOUR W/A WTF! Keybinds are on another level. But what I found to be the worst thing about this is that fact you leveled engineering up and haven't used any bombs.

Yeah, my UI is a mess lol. *I* know where everything is, so it works, but it's definitely a disaster at first glance. The weakaura timers (from the fojji pack) I actually installed like 2 pulls before this, so I didn't get a chance to move the DBM timers around them, and honestly I'm not sure how to change the fojji pack anchor points so I just live with the overlap. The other weakauras for my Mage abilities I use to track various different things, so there's some redundancy between them, but no 1 suite that tracks everything that I want and frankly it doesn't bother me enough to invest the time into parsing them down to just the parts that I want from each one and then trying to combine them into 1 suite. You're absolutely right about the bombs though, I definitely could have gotten some extra free damage in by using them, not a lot, but hey, even 1 extra damage is better than nothing. I mostly leveled Engi for the helm in the first place though. Anyways, you're definitely not wrong about any of that lol, it just doesn't really affect my performance and I feel like more on-screen information is better than less, so I never bothered to clean it up

someone went down to kill twilight sentries or just ignored them?

We sent our DK Tank down first solo - he killed them all and got out around 20ish stacks I think. After that we sent the Ret Pally, Ele Sham, and Arms Warrior along with the Resto Druid and Bear Tank. We just waited until the active Tank had 5 stacks to get sent down instead of trying to send anyone in-between
