I was completely confused as to why Aphrodite, would have any control over the air. Then my sister said "Well you know how people say Love is in the air." I'm flabbergasted
I mean she’s a goddess I’m pretty sure their powers and abilities aren’t just limited to what ever their function is yes she a goddess of love but she can do more than just flirt, seduce and make ppl fall in love plus she’s also a war goddess in spartan tradition
I put it down to the fact that she is also a sea goddess and was brought to land by wind. Not to mention, Aphrodite is also a sorceress in many ways as she uses spells and magic in most of her stories.
@@wintersoldier164 I don't think so but she was will disappointed on him because what he did but she will cut the ties from Demeter after finding out that she was responsible of getting the gods sick for her greed and ambition
@@ameyalissabarron1466Yeah, Demeter was the real villain here, because to starters, she showed be a possesive mother, leading to that the marrying of Hades and Persephone had issues, for divided their family. Adding that Demeter was who orchestrated several plotting to take over the Olympus. Without count that she get too far to causes a epidemy that leads to a genocide from the mortals, only to weakens the gods. And to insult to injury, she lied to Persephone and put the blame on Hades, to says that this was his plan, when he was actually reluctance from the plan of Demeter. Being honest, i dare to says that Demeter is even worse than Hera.
When I first saw this battle I was damn impressed on Hermes power up, Poseidon's grand entrance, & how Heron showed such mercy towards Hera after everything 😔
To be fair, Hermes' only real fight up until this point was against freaking *Ares* , who also caught hin off guard, so him getting his sh!t rocked was understandable.
Seraphim knew at that point his best chance was to protect heron so he could get the stone, giving seraphim the chance to convince him to kill Hera and possibly the other gods, but heron chose forgiveness, but he made sure Hades helped seraphim, since his brother was doing all of that to help his girl in the underworld
@@claudemakelele2856of course he cared. he didn't want to fight him in S1 after he found out they were brothers and he only said he would kill him because he knew he was damned but he wanted to spare gorgo from suffering because he still loves her. feels like you missed the point of the story 😂
I just wanna say im happy we can see Hestia blasting fireballs at everyone and did Aphrodite just yanked a huge ass hurricane at everyone I'm happy that they are showing the strengths of this goddesses because everyone only think of them as weak

@@TheKhanofKhans your story doesn't make sense as getting Gaia the stone then giving it back the taking the stone again is too much We also have to recognize poseidon actually loves his domain but was apart of a Ku against Zeus which was represented in season one ass he sided with her a until she decided to give the fucking sea And poseidon by all account was chill unless you did something wrong to him or you caught him in one of his anger fits Which is what unfortunately happened to Medusa as he had the grudge on her master Athena plus being gorgeous Poseidon rules the sea which can be beautiful calm but also very well unpredictable do his personality is justified In mythology hades does everything for his wife remember the time the two heroes plus a relative of Hercules got caught for trying to kidnappe persephony and how hades was captivated by Orpheus music why because the underworld is grim place lump that with the fact his wife has to go every few months and demeter is a overprotective bitch as you can see hades in myths always had a soft spot His personality in the show is justified expecialy he him being a whimp as he let that guy who was rolling a stone fool him into letting him go so the real hades standing up on antagonizing Demeter when it's partially in his benefit is unlikely as also the guy always rolls a bolder did it by bonding with hades over having a wife also hades also cheated in myths so did persephone and hades knew about her cheating and did shit so their personality in the show is very much justified
To be fair Heron is juiced to the brim by greek mythologys greatest monster. And Zeus in the show didn´t seem much stronger than his 2 brothers. Not like they ever dished it out with each other for real.
Poseidon throwing the sea at Demeter was personal, also I sometimes forget that Afrodite and Ares are a thing probably I’m still confused about that one time saw the whole Greek Pantheon and said dang everyone’s Zeus kid after all
@@msbte49 I think you're right cause she sided with Hera in Season 1. Given the wind based powers here, I think the Seafoam Myth is her origin story in this show.
I mean,it is an animated show, and given netflix is with those, they have to work season by season in order to not do too much work only to be cancelled. The wait was worth it in my opinion though
I'm hoping we get a S3 next year. I'd like to think a damn near 4 year hiatus is plenty of time to write two seasons. The showrunners said they have a five season plan, I really don't want to wait until 2040 for the final season lol
@@Poussyeater-w5e I wouldn't say she was bad. But tbh they did really downplay her in terms of her strategies, tactics and abilities. She's the goddess of warfare and the mind, she should have gotten some more spotlight, especially since they were still at war.
Aphrodite's ability to conjure wind comes from her skills in magic and spell casting. She has the abilities of magic as seen in many of her legend and if you think back to the Trojan War, Aphrodite was able to shroud the battleground in a tempest of mist.

These are seasoned gods with Centuries of learning their powers. I hope for once they show mastery over their respective powers. Even Poseidon should have Mastery over the oceans.
@@GoblinAttacForce and it was a great shame too. What great technique they would discover. Hera - I could be better at marriage Zeus - Electricity is everywhere. It’s even in that gray matter in between your eyes
Damn at the end Heron became so powerful with the stone even Hades took a blow and Ares and he could’ve killed Hera. Clearly Zeus was the most powerful of them all and Heron got some serious potential to be up there with Zeus.
Aphrodite is graceful even in battles.Damn I love her.❤And Ares...mhmmmm, now we know what she saw in him. Too bad he was kinda a jerk but hot as hell.
@@superior120v5 it’s a very minor fact but in Sparta she was a goddess of war as well as love so I’m glad this show decided to show that aspect of her even though it’s not a very well known fact about her
The Gaia was sick of the bs and said alright let’s just bring back the titans my only question was the rule under them any better or different ? How is bringing them back going to solve anything?
It was about teaching them a lesson to work together rather than fight and betray each other. She wants them to figure out solutions together rather than this bs.
Throughout Season 2 the gods referred to heron as the One who was Prophesized multiple times, so maybe He will help end the next God vs Titan war, bringing balance to the world
I don't think this is talked about here but isn't it implied that Artemis' one arrow caused that big explosion? Like girl is at a weakened state and causing more wreckage than the two fire gods lol
RIP me hoping we'd get a Hades/Hera team up this season. Both in their respective messes because of loyalty to an SO... at least Persephone is actually loyal back tho 😆
Completely agree! I actually really liked what they did with her this season. It was actually kind of endearing she was genuinely trying to atone (as much she's capable of, anyway).
this is why i love western animation. if this were a japan anime, this fight scene would last for 10 episodes filled with internal monologue and flashback.
If you’re watching an anime and the fight last more than an episode, then you’re watching a drawn out anime that’s just trying to keep watch time up most good shows their fights will last probably around 3 to 4 minutes maybe a whole episode if it’s a bunch of people fighting in different locations
If Pureblood Gods are unaffected by Demeter's plant poisons while Demi Gods are weakened because they're part human, then why does Hestia look affected? She's Zeus's sister and daughter of Cronus, one of the 12 Greek deities.
Pureblood Gods are less affected. According to Athena, the poison was designed to be more severe for those 'born out of wedlock'. Hermes and Apollo noticed themselves to be rather weak while the likes of Athena and Hestia are not suffering as severely. Poseidon, Hera and Hades never inhaled the poisons.
@@MorokLeviathan I asked because I noticed Hestia looks affected, with a vein running down her face just like the ones born out of wedlock. She was a daughter of Rhea and Cronus, one of the children swallowed at birth alongside Demeter, Hestia, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon. Anyways, perhaps I'm overthinking things. Thanks for your insight!! ^_^
I quite like the family drama conflicts in this season, especially the appearance of fighting over inheritance between the children and then the mother starting to get annoyed with them
Hades major flaw is to be loved and love back. Is that a bad thing hell no. Mistakes might be made, but respectable. To be like Zeus, Poseidon, or Hades, prefer Hades a lot more just because just wanting to be loved and love back. If you really think about it Hades is the least messed up of the gods, of all the gods of olympus he is the most chill and honest god, but modern media always labels him as the bad guy. Antogonistic yes, but very chill bro with good intentions

The battle was superb. Poseidon grand entrance Hermes power boost And heron been the coolest of all and showing mercy and forgiveness at the end, the gods brought the destruction upon their selves by making Gaia calling forth typhon, so we’ll be expecting S3 ig
Hermes basically became The Flash with the stone Amp and then Aphrodite turned into Storm with the twister and then Hades moving like Azazel teleporting with his blade and then Ares came thru with the hammer like he was Thor 😂
Heron sending Hades to the underworld was B's and showed he didn't want change, just to keep the same order that kept his father in power, he should have sent Hera to the underworld and Hades back to olympus
I think there were about 4 or so Underworld characters with unique designs in this episode. Interestingly enough, one of them wore a winged helmet, but the thing is that we saw him/her before in a flashback, where he/she was killed by one of the Giants. There was also someone with black wings, he stood with Ares and (presumably) Nike during the games on Olympus. This must be Thanatos. I couldn't make out the other two female characters, though I think it's possible that they could be Lethe or/and Minthe.
@@rafaelsantos-nl9jd Right, I considered the possibility of the winged helmet deity being Hypnos, but he seemed too skinny in my mind. But in retrospect, it makes sense, given how Hypnos seemed rather gentle and soft in the actual myths. I'd imagine that Nyx wasn't too happy when he died while fighting the Giants, luckily he was brought back...
Wait a minute when did this debut. I never heard about it I saw the trailer. But it never said when it was coming out and now it’s over. I need to watch all of this because I need this spice in my life.
Heron: now that i have won to end this foolish conflict i realise persephone from her bound and she,her children and hades can go to and from the underworld as they please but if this power is abused or you neglet your godly duties than you be bound oncemore and Aries and demeter clam your tits Edit: Honestly i feel like 90% of problems would be solved (in season 2) if this happened
Lmfaaoo the newbies in mythology still asking why aphrodite still has air powers 😭😭😭 do research on who she’s the daughter/an incarnation of, where she was born, how she got to the island, the titles she was awarded and honestly just so much more. Did yall expect her to throw glowing pink hearts of energy or something???

I’m rusty on my Greek mythology. I know Gaia is a grandmother for a lot of the gods, but where is Rhea (Zeus’s mother) in this equation? I know her husband Kronos is in Tartarus but I don’t remember what happened with Rhea?
Ares is too underestimated here he should by far be the biggest threat here, he's the only God born of two most powerful top tier gods Zeus and Hera and therefore should be immensely powerful possessing the powers of both his parents and his
In mythology, you are one of the weakest and most cowardly gods. Mythologically, the greatest threat would be Athena, who was as powerful as Zeus, followed by Apollo. The program benefited Ares, but weakened Athena and Apollo.
To the op. In mythology Ares was actually a wimp out of the full blooded gods and a hot head. When he would get his ass kicked he would run back to daddy asking for help. Aphrodite just liked the bad boy in him, although he brought nothing positive. She would cheat on her husband repeatedly, thus makes her awful also.
@@EmyChulve Athena and her unborn brother were going to topple the Olympian gods and have their reign. Zeus prevented it by swallowing Metis. Just like how Cronus intended for Zeus.

To be honest I know this doesn’t have anything to do with the video but I believe Poseidon should take the throne as well Hades could have been fit for the throne if it wasn’t for his selfishness for the happy ending, as in the series Poseidon had always been doing the right thing and follows the laws made by Zeus even though he may have joined Hera’s side during season 1 but it was for the laws and Poseidon was sure she was right.
fun fact: ares all of time represent as a villian... he actually the only one who never raped a woman! :D yep zeus was famous for this, poseidon also, even hades did at least once also he made her to his wife too... in other wise ares never did and even he was protected multiple times womans to be raped! :S
