It’s a good concept but if a stat fails then it’s multiple racks that go down. Where the way I like to do it is each rack has a herpstat 2 both probes on that rack for maximum temp control. And if it fails it’s only that rack that’s affected. I don’t mind spending bit of extra $$ if it it helps limit a larger issue to arise. Rather have 1 stat and 1 rack go down as opposed to 1 stat and 3 racks.
Very nice stats Jeremy. I like the dual controls and double probes and alarm and sensitive controls. They look like the business! No wonder they are sold out! Looking forward to your breeding series as the snakes develop. Hope your new racks arrive soon.
Hello Sir. I have a herpstat 2 and I have a cabinet style incubator which I am assuming has heat tape inside. Should I use the Dimming or Pulse feature? Thank you so much, Jeff
I use all of my herpstats on the dimming mode. The incubator is on a herpstat 1 on dimming mode and each rack has a herpstat 2 set on dimming. So that’s how I would suggest to do set them up.
Honestly it took me forever to come up with one. Everyone seemed to have a catchy slogan and it seemed like all the good ones were taken. Keep thinking and eventually one will present itself. I’m not sure how great mine is but I liked it so I ran with it lol. Good luck and you will come up with one.
Can you please do a video on how to put it together like when you get it out of the box how to plug it all the plugins and where the plugins go because I got a new harp stat 300 ve serve a very electronics ve 300 and I'm not sure where all the plugs go I understand where the probe goes but there's something else I'm not sure about so if you can do like a video on how to put it together that'd be great thank you
