Mir gefällt dieses Stück zwar überhaupt nicht aber ich habe ganz riesengroße Bewunderung für diese Frau dass sie das machen konnte in zehn verschiedenen Stimmen und das auch noch aufnehmen. Also ganz ganz großes Lob super tolle Leistung. Ihr Talent hat überhaupt nichts mit meinem Geschmack zu tun. Ich bewundere aber absolut ihr großartiges Talent. 👍
Along with the opening chorus for his Matthau-Passion--"Kommt, ihr Töchter, helft mir klagen"--this companion opening is art of devastating power, further documentation by Bach of barbaric religious excruciatia. Its serpentine, brow-sweat evocation of crucifixion should induce chills and nausea in any careful listener, and stands at the apex of Western Art. Bach's gleaming command of counterpoint to construct a polyphonic narration starts with a serpentine melodic texture slithering in knotted coils like a leather whip, drenched in brow-sweat and woven with the coagulated serous products of a savior's corpus, to preserve every sordid cell of a sacrificial life issuing from the 2,000-year memory of his execution, as archived in the hearts of a billion people now alive. This iteration is riveting! I love the idea, and it captures Bach's independent lines with more perspicacity than even the standard SATB chorus. Beautiful.

Obwohl ich dieses Orotorium schon unzählige Male im Chor mitgesungen habe, ist Thresas großartiges "multi-tracking" für mich eine völlig neue Erfahrung. Bach bietet immer wieder eine Überraschung!
MAGNIFICENT !!!! Don't know, Why? , but these One -Person Performences of Bach's greatest Works bring even more clarity, revealing Bach's ...don't even find Proper Words.. However as ONE Person has same strength in any voice, that creates perfect balance among Them. So Its Extreme Beauty becomes ,as Bright as Sun' ! Thank You, Thank You very , very - Much !
Besser kann man die Anerkennung für JSB und Theresa Klose nicht ausdrücken. (Ich selbst durfte die JoPa-Aufführung als Chor-Bass mindestens zwölfmal mitgestalten.)

Great range!!! I really love the clarity of this production. The minor seconds get muddy when you’re listening to a recording that was done in a big church. Kudos. This was a lot of work.

Das ist mal etwas ganz Anderes und Besonderes. Bachcapella! Hast du einzelne besonders tiefe oder hohe Stimmen künstlich transponiert oder ist das alles komplett original? Scheue Grüsse aus der Nordschweiz. :)
Ich habe alles komplett original eingesungen - die tiefen Stimmen am frühen Morgen und im Verlauf des Tages die hohen Stimmen. Ich habe immer den Ehrgeiz, bei meinen Aufnahmen nichts künstlich zu verändern, weder Intonationen nachträglich zu korrigieren oder Töne mithilfe des Computers zu oktavieren. Herzliche Grüße zurück!
