In modern times I think the interviewer would've spoken English to them because of how much we Scandinavians speak it now and because there're some Danes who struggle to understand Swedish (myself included) and even more the other the other way around, I've heard.

And as old men now just in golden sneakers ...

In our time an interview like that would've happened in English because not all Danes understand Swedish, but most young people now understand English.

Danish version is the best. Too bad it is cut short. Also the performers are much better.
