Natasha reminds me of me when I first learnt to drive. Confidence low, always worried about others. And then somebody said, just be bold, you deserve to be on these roads, you paid good money for your test. This is your time so use it. My test is next week too so let’s see if I remember that thought too 😊 EDIT: I passed. Thannk you for these amazing videos Aman, I'll keep watching
Natasha's desire to be safe is leading to an overcautiousness that is resulting in unnecessary faults, she needs to have more confidence in her ability, as she can clearly drive to an adequate level.🙏🙏
@@colinjava8447 Yes and no. When you're as cautious as this lassie then it's a bad thing, you can cause accidents being this cautious just as you'll cause accidents by being careless. You need to be aggressively cautious as a driver. Drive as though everyone else on the road is a complete idiot and capable of doing absolutely anything, so be prepared for anything, you need to be ready to get yourself out of any potentially dangerous situation, if that means putting the foot down, then you put the foot down, if it means hanging back, then hang back. This is where pre planning and awareness come in. Sometimes it can be obvious that something up ahead or behind is going to cause a problem, so decide on what you're going to do about it, and commit to it.
Yep, the most important part when driving safely is being clear with your intentions on the road and being confident in know what the expected manoeuvre is. If you hesitate all the time people don't know what you are going to do and that will lead to dangerous situations. For example when merging on a highway in the Netherlands you should use your indicator when there is space and you are actually going to merge. Except, when its busy people tend to indicate even before there is space, just so everyone else knows what your intentions are. Its just much smoother that way, even though its technically not what you should do according to the rules. My daily commute is across one of the busiest bridges in Europe (225-250K vehicles a day) and 90%+ of drivers signal way in advance.
@@colinjava8447you need to drive without an actual driving instructor to build confidence . Try diving with your parents, older siblings etc to become more confident .
@@WillScarlet1991no it’s because she has patience and knows saying something could have messed Natasha up and she’s just overall a great driving instructor
@@WillScarlet1991 ?? No, it's because literally her job. She's had to deal with situations like that probably hundreds of times, so she's used to it. She's also just a good driving instructor. She's patient and calm - that's why her lessons are great and her pupils do so well.
My old driving instructor says women tend to be more cautious on the roads because they’re more aware of being an inconvenience. No! Be proud of your ability, you deserve to be a confident driver! You can clearly drive well and if you were bolder you could be an excellent safe driver!
hesitation is just one of the things that goes away with enough practice, you kinda just learn to stop worrying about too many things and can just commit without waiting or getting confused
She can drive. One thing I really noticed is how late she uses the clutch and brake at junctions. If she manages her speed early, it would give her more time to plan ahead. Secondly, as everyone said over cautiousness can actually make you less safe as it can be quite confusing to other drivers and prompt those around you to drive more aggressively. If she can change her thinking a bit, she can pass next week
@@sarmadghafoor1484 that’s what some do, but it’s always good being able to drive manual incase there’s a time where you need to drive one and you’re ready to do so. also, automatic cars are usually more expensive so for new drivers ontop of their insurance it’s way too much
@@iiSnipez its about 1000 pounds more expensive which is bad (just recently bought a car and passed) , id like to think youd prob need more lessons and attempts for manual though
Aman just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of your videos I literally binged watch your mock videos and have learnt so much! I passed my driving test today with 4 minors 🎉🎉 thank you xx
I passed my driving test 2 weeks ago and your videos helped me a lot. My instructor struggling to teach me and training me but finally I did it .I AM A FULL DIVING LICENCE HOLDER and I really enjoying driving
Could see she was nervous, thought she did ok though and I'm sure she will pass her test. You're so good and patient with them all Aman, if I could choose you to teach me then I would ❤️
Passed my driving test 2nd time at the beginning of March, and your videos (+ multiple other driving youtubers) have helped me overcome my mistakes. Had 3 minors on my passing test. Thank you Aman. Keep making videos and helping people become excellent drivers.
She is not a good driver! She hasn't passed her test and, seems nervous, and hesitant. It takes years to be a "Good" driver. A good competent driver, can drive well in town techniques, contry road road techniques, and in snow.skid control. Once you have perfected these, which most drivers don't- you cannot be considered a good driver.
Damn! She was soooo nervous bless her. I noticed she had control issues when turning in junctions. She should always do BBC. Brake before clutch. It’s so much easier to control the car and make turns. Good luck to her on her exams x
Her speed was too fast when approaching giveways, closed junctions, when parking and approaching waiting traffic. Rolled back on inclines/hills. Hesitation and poor observations at mini roundabouts. Stayed in 1st gear too long. Doesn't use gas when pulling off. Planning and awareness generally poor. I think the instructor was lenient on her faults, I noticed way many more.
@@wounddd you can do a mil hours practice. If the examiner wants to fail you, he or she will fail you ,regardless of your skills. Might as well go for it . Tests are 80% luck and 20% actual skills. Or at least this was my experience when i did it.
aman can we please see more tests with natasha ? i wanna see her constantly improve , she was so cute lol the little talks she gave herself .. she seems so positive too ! i wish her all the best ! :D
She seemed VERY nervous! Your patience, especially with the bay park was insane! If there were no serious faults but the examiner felt you were just too nervous to be on the roads because of asking a lot of questions and needing a lot of reassurance, could they fail you?
I did my lessons today and I improved on moving off because of watch your videos Thank you so much I really appreciate your videos alot and your help keep up your amazing work

Just before I took my bike test the examiner said, I have no air bags! When we came back, he said I drove like an old lady! I passed... GoodVibes Your licence is just the start. Continue to better yourself and never stop learning! There are many wankers on the road, ignore them and become an advanced driver. One day, your life will depend on it! Well done Natasha! GoodVibes
Natasha seems so lovely but V nervous. It looks like it’s her first mock test, she needs to do a few more before her actual test but she’ll be fine she’s clearly a good driver. Good luck.
Natasha, Good smoothed driving, she's checking, mirrors and blind spot. she was behind that white van, with hazard warning light's on, she moved to the lane on her right, the white van move, then back to the left lane, into the car park. good moved Natasha, well done.🌹
Natasha, really and truly focus on her driving, prompting by her instructor Aman, scanning the surrounding, looking for potential hazard. Gave her time she should be fully in control of the situation, and looking forward in the future, for her mock test and driving test.
All the best Natasha. Takes some guts to put yourself out there on YT with something like this. Just need to address the balance between caution and being a bit bolder I think. I don’t like the word confidence though in any walk of life. We only have confidence when we are good at something not before.
So happy to say I passed today with one minor! This was my fourth time so please remember not to be discouraged if you don’t pass, and to keep going! Thank you Aman for these super helpful videos :)
She can drive but because of the area she stays in gear 1 longer than she should , I would do the same as her because it’s nervous even having a mock test
Thank you, Aman, for all the great videos, they have been very helpful. I have passed my driving test in the Netherlands today on my first go 🎉🎉 with two minors. I will definitely keep watching to further improve my driving skills😊.
I always smile when i see people nervous when driving for a test. It just remind me of my first year driving. Im from the US, little bit different here
Good attempt Natasha, but a bit more confidence needed, get going to make some progress and plan ahead, and have a plan B for if it changes at the last moment. Good Luck with your Test.
Good smoothed drive! Be proactive, looking for potential, hazard, awareness and observation. "Natasha, is a slow at junctions, she should be a bit quicker when turning, at junctions! I believe she will improve, when Amen talk with her about it. 💜
this reminds of me and still is a bit of me but then i knew i can drive i knew what to do but i was extra safe sometimes it’s good but sometimes being too safe is not good
That was a good drive hesitated too much but nothing serious. As a learning we don't expect a person to drive perfectly. So well done. Like the instructorsaid have more confidence. But too will come with time..
To Ms Natasha pls in future try drive car with changing gear 3rd,4th and 5th.. I can see most of time only use 1st and 2nd gear only.. Just relaxing and drive with happy bcz Ms Aman Happy person
Natasha, were driving on the road, there were sings, no left turn, 40.rqad marking 3 lanes, no left turn. she cold taking the middle lane or the right hand lane for exit or the new Road.
Natasha you’re doing okay. However, your gear use is not exactly right. When stopping, you should first brake a little bit before you press your clutch. Pressing the clutch first will not help you with reducing your speed which results in a very hard brake. You can see it happen a few times in this video as you and your instructor move a little towards the front as soon as you step your foot on the brake. It leads to you pressing the brake too hard. Have a bit more confidence and you will succeed in your exam! Good luck, you can do it!!
She is definitely not almost there. I'd say at least another 30hrs on top of the 30hrs she's done already. Her planning and awareness needs a lot of work.
Other than the undue hesitation she needs to do some steering exercises the way she’s slowly pushing and pulling her hands to steer is waking her get too close to cars 😩 not enough control. But otherwise not bad driving
Very different driving from Canada, few traffic lights and most of the information is painted on the roadway. De-mist means what, wipers, defrost or apply wind-shield fluid ? An excellent channel to learn about driving in the UK before visiting. 🍁
simping here but wow ,Natashas gorgeous , what a smile 😍 haha, she's is a really good driver, just needs a little more confidence and it will come with more practice!
I got a minor for hesitation at a traffic light turning right. I didn't move into the junction fat enough. I also got a minor for not looking behind me before parallel parking and putting it in reverse.
It sucks that she was so nervous about the whole thing because overall she is a great driver, just needs that confidence which she totally earns because of how good of a driver she is. I'd have no problem having her driver me places, but maybe just not anywhere I had an appointment or I would definitely be late.
I'm sorry but m'I the only one that's suprised how many people drive by passing steering wheel from one hand to the other? It was the first thing that mine instructors told me, the right technic for driving. At 29:45 you can clearly see that Natasha had a problem with turning steering wheel fast enought to make a turn. Maybe in UK it doesn't matter but in Poland on the test examinator would mark this as an bad driving technic which makes me even more suprised that it's not mentioned in any video.
It helps if you are familiar with the road conditions where you are driving, but Natasha doesn't seem to have sufficient experience to deal with various road conditions as she seems hesitant often on the roads...
I was willing her to accelerate a little faster when she merged out to main roads. Traffic wasn't too bad but she'll want to get up to speed a little faster. Seemed like she was doing around 5mph onto a main road and didn't accelerate much.
I noticed she only seems to use either her left foot or right foot at one time. For instance she only uses only the clutch when moving off with no throttle.
Except for the emergency stop, she didnt too badly. Perhaps a bit too cautious in decision making but better than taking too many risks. Well done anyway
Please do a video with saima love watching with her videos I’m taking my lessons aswell please pray for me I pass Aman can you help me to remember the lanes I find them hard aswell as the roundabouts ❤
27:07 can someone explain this fault to me? is it because she should've waited for the white van to fully pass (is it hesitating for going too fast) or should she have gone before when there was a gap ( hesitating for waiting too long?)?
I believe (correct me someone if I am wrong), but she stopped on her give way lines, but there was no traffic on her right, so she should have joined the roundabout, as the traffic on her left should then stop and give way on their lines, giving way to their right as she goes round. She could have come up to her give way lines, glanced right, saw there was no traffic, and joined the roundabout to turn right behind the black Audi TT.
How can one judge that? It depends if your parents are teaching you the actual rules etc. And how much additional work you put in (watching videos like this)
It depends on quality of teaching and lessons, not just hours..I have seen many people who had many lessons with their driving instructors (at least more than 50 hours) but still not confident and also not enough to pass their test...
Different for everyone. 12 hours is probably enough for an instructor to go over the procedural stuff, like the observations, routines etc, and the driving with parents will give you the road experience and help develop your decision making etc. Ask you instructor to do a mock test and you'll see if you're ready.
