Zoals het soefisme aanspoort tot eenheid en harmonie, en oosters en westers gedachtegoed met elkaar verbindt, zo omarmen traditionele Iraanse muziek en Johann Sebastian Bach elkaar in dit programma. Samen met de Iraanse zangeres Haleh Seyfizadeh, de Iraanse tärspeler Ali Ghamsari, de Nederlandse theorbe-virtuoos David Mackor en de Canadese sopraan Elisabeth Hetherington, brengt het Nederlands Blazers Ensemble een oriëntaalse Bach in innige omhelzing met oude Perzische muziek ten gehore. De verbindende muziek is van de hand van componist Mathilde Wantenaar.

Most interesting blend of European and Persian cultures and music. I like them both and listen to them separately. Thank you for this unique experience. Loved all the instruments that had been used jointly perhaps for the first time. And when the piece comes to singing I realised one cannot love two Gods at the same time. You just love that is closer to your heart. All is beautiful but not quite the same, in life and in music as well.

Heb een tijdje geleden in de singel (antwerpen) dit geweldig ensemble gehoord samen met Jordi Savall met La Danza del Viento. Was fantastisch maar kan het nergens vinden....hulp!

This is Iranian music Its poems are in Persian Persian is the main and official language of Iran The origins of Iranian languages and culture go back to more than seven thousand years BC. And these people are Iranian musicians. Because it is not mentioned here I said It was out of compassion, not narcissism. Besides being the first civilization and the first superpower, we are the oldest superpower and the oldest civilization We also have a rich and correct culture, language and art. It was self-infatuation.😂
