To be fair.. sweden inspired the german N party in the 1920's.. finland literally bred a man whose nickname was the white death and had entire russian artilley regiments specifically focused on trying to take him out.
Hetalia fact: It is confirmed by Himaruya that Sweden is in fact gay, but he only feels/acts that way towards Finland Also if you read the manga you quickly find out that he doesn’t realise he is inlove with Finland, he just thinks it’s normal to want to marry your friend. Oh and also it’s canon, when Finland ran out of clothes, Sweden would take his own clothes and sew them to fit Finland so he would have clothes to wear
You know its funny cuz theres actually a meme in finland that goes like: "How rest of the world sees Sweden 🇸🇪" "How finnish people see Sweden 🏳️🌈" And I think its becouse of that meme they made it like that lol.
The most emotion we get out of Sweden is when Finland(correct me if I’m wrong it’s been awhile) says he liked Sweden’s house more 😂 *sighs* they need more screen time
Honestly, I’m surprised people aren’t more terrified of Finland, because the Finns are like a nation comprised entirely of that guy that keeps a shotgun in his liquor cabinet.

Me too, so when I saw Hetalia Sweden, I went; Me. Am Swedish, he’s Sweden, he’s been made a very correct depiction. I admire the dedication it must’ve taken to do this so well. I only wish they’d add the ‘Gay Sailor sign and the Morse code of This•Way•If•You•Are•Gay’ ft a near nude neon pink sailor gyrating his hips with hearts and a text in Russian and one in English; Welcome to Sweden. Gay since 1944.’ In the show. It was made to scare off/deter Russian submarines. Because that would be so Hilarious! I can’t be the only one who thinks so!
As someone who’s lived in Finland for about 6 years (and visited Sweden for a few months with family) I can officially say that Finns are so much scarier than Swedes . (Also Finlands eyes went from brown to blue 🤨)
@@Kili_1701 A lot of Northern Europeans are this way, it's kinda just culture. For example, Norwegians are pretty quiet and expressionless when out in public or with strangers. In Estonia, people are pretty similar, and usually just dont talk around strangers. Then they all go out drinking and the friendship has officially begun. It's kinda cute, actually.
I love hetalia and the characters- As a swede myself, Sweden's character and relationship with Finland is kinda inaccurate XD However in the end, i prefer them as they are.
Why did- why did fin say Mister Sweden like that? I was expecting him to say “You can call him Mister Sweden! 😊 ✨” but no he said it like “But you can call him Mister Sweden~*insert Lenny face*”
I’m from Sweden and dude I think that the character doesn’t fit Sweden. But he sure looks Swedish. But his voice just sounds like someone who’s isn’t Swedish trying to sound swedish
