I love that you can identify some of the movies referenced if you know them well enough. The way England's horror movie style is summed up perfectly describes the way The Woman in Black turned out, Italy's movie is akin to things like Cannibal Holocaust or Zombi 2, Canada's movies are Scanners and Cube, and Japan's movie combines Junji Ito's work with the Ring franchise and Corpse Party, with the description after his segment directly referencing The Grudge and One Missed Call.
UPDATE: I've just learned that, incredibly enough, Finland described a real-ass movie too. Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale, a horror-action-comedy from 2010, so it was actually very recent when this episode aired.
