I don't know this 100% but I'll try. The gingerbread joke, as Russia called it a Slavic joke, might be because the Polish word for gingerbread, 'piernik' can also be used as a kind of insult / joking way of saying idiot. I could be wrong though cause I don't know Russian XD

Anyone else hungry after hearing this and also I had tried Chinese Moon Cake before they was delicious. I’m not Chinese but I did learn a little bit of Chinese in elementary in Colorado. What he they said about Japanese cake type food reminded me of it. Sorry just wanted to point that out.
