In this video, I tell you about Hex Editor. Hex Editor basically edits a file without corrupting it like most text editors do. Swordigo Modding is very limited as of now. You can only edit existing codes and you have to squeeze your code in.
Swordigo Modding also requires some bit of programming or Lua knowledge. Swordigo Mods are mostly made in Lua. You have to find hooks, get ideas and use the hooks you found to make a good experience for the players.
After everything, you will learn how hex editor works and create your first mod, that shows a toast whenever player uses Dragons Grasp without trinkets. The hook I used in this video is [magic.scl: DGHook_normal], the DGHook_normal and various other hooks like DGHook_fire were composed of some useless code, I modified then and created alot of space.
