Instead of folding the bias binding like you did 9:51, I fold it in half (wrong sides together) and press. Sew both raw edges of the binding to the raw edges of the base. Fold over and sew down the back. This creates a double thickness binding which lasts bit longer. 💖🌞🌵😷

It's lovely that you're showing beginners how to do this project with minimal supplies like hexagon shapes made from printer paper instead of shop bought shapes... but I wanted to contribute a suggestion... Print the hexis out as instructed, then glue several layers of printer paper to the back of the printed page (making it thicker and sturdier). Then cut them out with scissors. 💖🌞🌵😷

This is the closest thing I’ve found for my phone. I need a case to put my phone to hand around my neck while I’m walking. I like to listen to my audiobooks while I’m walking. Right now I’m sticking my phone inside my bra. I can’t carry it because I’m pushing my walker.

I am rather new to epp and I just love the little flowers that you’ve been doing. I probably shouldn’t have tried quarter inch hexies to start with! I am having trouble glue basting to the hexiform. I have tried trimming down the seam allowance little so that I can at least see where the shape is. But sometimes my shape is out of shape!! Help! Today is August 16 at 8:40 AM in North Carolina USA

You can do it! It just takes practice. Also, just feel for the edge of the shape with your finger as you fold the fabric over, and try not to bend it over. The more you do the better they will be. Hope that helps

you don't need to exchange money if you buy online as the card you use will handle that. If you want to know how much it will work out to in dollars, type into google, for example, 1gbp in usd and it will tell you how much. Hope that helps

Dear Emma, I love what your fairy fingers are doing! Thanks to show us how to do it and EPP. I have a question cuz it’s my first EPP. I want to do embroidery. Do you do it with 6 strands ??? If yes, can you tell me the needles you use: company, kind, size. If not 6 strands, how many do you uses and tell me about the needle . To be able to pass the thread, I find that my needle is big. Do I take too much strands. How many do you uses?? Help.

Thank you Claudette. I use 2-3 strands depending on how big the design is. I use the needles I sell on my website, made by Sajou. It’s a pack of 15 sharp embroidery needles and I use those the most. I hope that helps 😊

a suggestion for your hexagon pieces : I ordered a hole punch that punches a hole in the center of the hexagon so whenever I print out hexagons I put holes in the center that way when I take them out " I simply slide a seam ripper or a stylist inside of the hole and pull it out. comes out so easily without messing up the flower. now that I have it would not be without it.

New here, I’m wondering if it is necessary to remove the paper.

Hi, welcome! For English paper piecing, you would typically remove the paper. I think for this project, you will get a nicer result by removing the paper. However, I often use a product called hexiform which is designed to be used instead of paper and it is a fabric stabiliser type material and it adds a lovely texture, perfect for this sort of project.
