Good start Balkan, I'd suggest trying a 'follow-up' where you show these enhancements; - Building a surface pattern using PyRevit for the hexagons - Using this model pattern for precise alignment/trim - Aligning a material to the pattern I think this would be highly beneficial to your viewers. Happy to cover it if it's not of interest to you though, just let me know! And yes I'll credit your video :P

Can you change the thickness/quantity of layers of the element instead of just changing the "image" that is painted on its face ? That would be a more realistic workflow, like for example a wooden floor and on a small part a carpet that is over it, which adds extra thickness... Thanks.

@@trollenz yes in this case I'd associate the hexagon image with a material, and apply this to a sublayer in the floor type with a thickness.

Love your tutorials man! I would love to see how you would approach modeling a polygonal/3d geometric facade, I made one for my studio project 2 years ago and have been wondering if maybe there was a better way to do it. Keep up the great work!

in the autoCAD Pattern file there is a hexagonal / triangle pattern if you want to use it as model lines for other purposes..

But i had a querry as to the fact can i access the tutorial videos available on ur site balkanarchitect.com on mobile devices rather than a desktop or laptop. Kindly revert back asap so that i can purchase the monthly plan. I am asking this question because my laptop has been broken so i dont had it fixed under this lockdown.
