Breaking new ground with a fancy 5 string bass build with hexagons to test if hexagons are really the bestagones. Realised only after all the making and editing that a 6 string bass with hexagons would make alot more sence, but it still turned out pretty killer! More builds shall follow pretty soon! You sir have talent.As an old bassist that dabbles in building part casters I'm very impressed.The bass is beautiful.C+C machines are incredible.Were I younger I'd get into this.

Beautiful. Try an LED in the control cavity to light up some of that resin.

Really nice! Those frets look small - short and flat? Was that a concience decision - what you like, or what you had? I don't think I've ever played a bass with smaller frests. How was the feel?

07:01 be careful, when the resin mixing container is thin and tall, it might heat up

i was using slow cure resin since it was a thick pour, but its never been a problem because i dont let it sit that long for it to get to that point

ooh, thats lovely. What black paint did you use on the back and the neck?...Its beautifully smooth...did you use a wood grain filler first? Great job.😊

Im using black nitro paints and a nitro matt finish lacquer to get that nice smooth look, plus its not a fingerprints magnet!
