No way, they understand its purpose in being a resource sink meaning it’s the only thing that’ll make players grind more even if they can keep builders busy. They understand how absurd the cost is though for a wall piece and how it’s agreed by everyone. So it’s just good marketing, I doubt they want to reduce the cost.

The walls, increasingly expensive and more useless. Since TH12, walls have less and less defensive value, and the worst part is that they remain expensive, they are no longer a priority
