He knew, but he also didn't want to accept the wrong his father did. That was his idol, so T'Challa's self actualization moment was acknowledging the previous wrongs done by his ancestors and taking into consideration that Eric becomes this way because of the abandonment.
@@aliciarice9617 it's been a long time since I saw the movie but didn't Tchaka s father saved his friend before killongers father killed him? Also wasn't killmongers father responsible for selling Wakanda s secrets to Klaw which allowed him to steal the Vibranium?
Chadwick was born too play Black Panther…MBJ was born too play Killmonger…and Ryan Coogler was born to Direct it 💐💐💐💐💐💐 RIP Mr Boseman forever our KING 🙏🏽
@@i.i1215 it was a'ight but to say she elevated it beyond Marvel is completely hyperbolic of you. She's Angela Bassett. The movie was a blockbuster. They were compelled to give her the award. But to act like her performance was Sophie's Choice is absurd. Her best work wasn't being Tina or even Stella. Her best work was actually Strange Days
She/Auntie accepted/negotiated a low salary for that movie despite her resume! I'm unsure if she went to Harvard or Yale. As a professional who knows your worth this needs to end in Hollywood. Thus Taraji P and others who accept low salaries for "high quality" work in classic pathed movies. I'm not just a Uniform
The way W’Kabi turned his head when Killmonger said he found his daddy with Panther claws, you could see his loyalty flipping. Like “I’ve been serving these people and they cold blooded murderers”
Always loved his line delivery “I found my daddy with panther claws in his chest” fit with storytelling when he goes to the ancestral plain and he’s a little boy again
I fuckin LOVE how he represents American Blacks. Just even the subtle “hey auntie” kind of like yall have it too good here acting high and mighty. Favorite villain in MCU for sure.
@@coewhatthey aren't saying as powerful ,they are saying as far as villains go Eric killmomger had style, quotes, ambition like the joker .the things you are saying you could agree with ,how he was talking about oppressors the systematic system white men put us in they can break us out with the tech but refuse to use it. Killmomger is every black man in America .We see the hundred year head start and how racist, hatred, separation power it. Greed etc . The world has everything you need but this system is toxic to the world and us . Cutting down forests and rain forests poisoning the air itself just so white can stay in power instead of being equal is basically saying if we ain't on top then the world will end . Black panther is the other side of the coin talking coexistence and peace. Imo everyone who talks peace gets ahot in the head I'm with killmomger. Imo destroying the world to keep a system that sucks the world dry and turns neighbors into enemies is a crap world compared to rhw one before .
Killmonger is definitely the best representative of a true villain the MCU has to date. Everyone else just thinks they’re doing a service for the greater good rather than being evil just to be evil.
@@jemaineoliver1833I'm sure it meant both. Yes he was in the blk ops but also still an American blk meaning she looked at him as different from the rest of them
The movie was not well written. It was well acted and everyone except for Chadwick bosman acted it well. His lackluster performance is pretty easy to understand now.
Hearing different languages is so intriguing. I loved when they spoke in their native tongue, it was powerful and beautiful. It made the scene so moving. ❤❤❤
@mockdawg thought i was the only person that felt this way. i dig Halle, but i desperately wanted Angela as Ororo. & when i saw her in this movie, it did nothing but solidify that she would have been perfectly glorious in that role 💯🔥
Black Operative just means they’re a secret ops group. If they’re captured or identified in any way, they cant tie themselves back to their original origins. So an American Black Ops just means that if Killmonger is caught in the line of duty, he has to pretend he doesnt associate w/ America
All them slayed this movie..... Yo so iconic so f****** iconic with these two black men and a strong woman in his movie these are one of my favorite movies I promise you black acting power
Killmonger is my favorite character and Micheal B. Jordan is my favorite actor of them all this scenes one of the best reveals on Black Panther 🙅🏽🙅🏽💯💪🏽😎
I am not entirely sure how that would work so enlighten me. I assume you mean his character, not just the actor? Killmonger was good because even tho sympathetic, he was an irredeemable monster like Homelander. He enslaved women and made them do whatever he wanted. Killed whoever he could, and would have killed anyone that would benefit him, even babies and such. He played evil sooooo good, and that's why he was loved.
They have to because of copyrights. They’re supposed to change 3 things about the video to make it their own to be able to post it on RU-vid. Not everyone does this, but they’re supposed to.
#3 experienced alot of evol things from people. Ive learned the art of just walking away, going silent and moving forward. People dont understand that this is a result of thier bad actions towards me. I know my name shall forever be in thier mouths
the guy who said “who are you” indirectly killed k’challa in a way, like if he didn’t say that, they wouldn’t have to fight and he would’ve been taken away
The thing is who cares if the KING, killed your father. It doesn't give you the right to go against your people. ESPECIALLY when your father was trying to turn the world into his enemy.
@@Shadow_Slayr A child to the brother of a King has ZERO right to the throne if their is a male heir. He would have the right to challenge during the trials, but he would have been disqualified from contention due to him aiding an enemy of the state, as well as being the son of a Traitor.
So if the president killed your father because he was trying to expose the government for all their secret horrible acts, you would be like yeah fuck my father! What a sheep you are.
