I work in a Big-box store we are cleaning to open next week and lots of inventory needs to be on shelves so dumpsters are full of seasonal stuff ..

Graffiti remover works wonders getting spray paint off of plastic.

It is very easy to remove the spray paint from stainless steel.Go inside an Aldi and Lidl, they have food and non-food. Each week new non-food articles. Cheap and good.

Yep , a lot of divers “ grocery shop” in the Aldi dumpsters because a lot of what they throw away is way before the pull dates and they get rid of lots of dry / canned goods .

Hi, I just found the same simple human dish drainer that you found and the bottom was spray painted at Amazon UK because I live in London and it was £70 pound, I think you could have take it and wipe it off, it was really nice. Aldi have a special buys every week and they sell a lot of different home stuff even cloths and not just grocery , I know that because I buy from them here all the time, you should go there more often.

Always check Aldis for household stuff!!! I got a brand new black metal bench for our front porch plus a giant round storage table to use on our back patio to store our cushions!!!

Aldi’s is awesome...I’ve gotten a lot of cool stuff from them. About 3 weeks ago, I found a foldable exercise bike. Great haul you two✌️💜😊

You can get a can of fabric spray and repaint it one color. The out side umbrellas.

Aldi has what they call special buys which is normally the couple of middle aisles in their shops full of clothing tools camping bits baby bits kitchen etc. They are very popular in the UK 🙂

Take the canopy of the umbrella and use fabric dye to dye over the spray paint

Bed Bath and Beyond was super packed with stuff. We literally filled up my car until we couldn't fit anymore. Glad you were able to get the rest. We only hit there and then emptied the car some but refilled it up at five below with tons of Easter candy

Aldi's also throws out good food and drinks that have nothing wrong with them. That was a great score on their merch. Usually there isn't that much.

That's how it is at the bye bye baby near me they spray paint just about everything a few night we went and for the first time everything we found was untouched with no paint I was very excited and a big score retail price of everything was over $1000.00 I love watching your videos seeing your amazing finds keep it up

Aldi has an AOS , Aisle Of Shame! Which is the aisle where you will find merchandise you didn’t know you could live without but have to have! Some locations even sell air conditioners!

I wouldn't worry about the paint in the umbrella. And you can buy spray paint remover on amazon called Vamoose for hard surfaces.

If you’re anything like Connecticut, the stores were loaded with Easter things that didn’t sell....they were marked down 75%.....I’m sure they’re going to have to ditch stuff in a couple of weeks...

Nail polish remover makes very easy to take the paint out try it and you well save lots of items

You can clean the spray paint with paint thinners guys.

Did you know, using oven cleaner Easy Off will take spray paint out of items? Another You Tuber talks about using it. Worth a try!

Steph found this stuff called graffiti cleaner she says you just spray on any hard surface and the spray paint comes right off. Way easier than alcohol wipes

yea you can definitely get a new cover for the umbrella my mom buys one like every other year, the trick is it needs to not be an off brand generic covers don't usually fit. stay well

Some of the items that are sprayed on you can always respray the same color to make it new again

OMG!!! I can't find the video where you guys found thousands of dollars worth of stuff. Mostly sheets, towels, comforters, curtains shark vacuum. Nichole LOVED THE UGG BLANKET! I started crying so hard. I own 3 towels and me and little Erica sleep on top of our beds with one sheet and 1 blanket. I PRAY we can find some sheets and blankets! We don't even have washcloths. That's why I cried such HAPPY TEARS FOR YOU!! If you can do it . Than this gives me high hope too!! We're still beginner's and scared to go out at 3am. I'm disabled. She's 14. But we're the ones that found over 100 boxes of starbucks pods boxes every flavor. ON OUR FIRST DIVE!!👏👏👏 so many people in need. If we get lucky. I'll keep what we need. then of course donate. Spray it different colors and keep it.

You never dive for food? The food in the Aldi dumpster is very good most of the time. Watch the freaking frugal channel and see a good example of what they find. Enough to feed a family. 👍

We jusy started going again. And in 3 days got over $3000 in merchandise from JoAnn. They threw out all easter and st Patrick's day stuff. Some still wrapped up in plastic. Over 40 hand towels. Over 50 pair of socks and lots of decor.

The last black box that you guys picked up at Bed Bath and Beyond could have been spray painted in a different color from the exterior and then brought to use. Just a suggestion.

When they spray paint on items, like coffee pots, clean paint the paint off with nail polish remover

you can buy paint remover that just wipes it off

Spray paint is so easy to get off solid objects, you should take xx

On the painted metal stuff, try bar keepers friend. Make a paste with it, and it will remove paint, and not hurt the metal.

The things that you find with canvas like that large umbrella for the yard you could take paint and paint a picture over that red paint no one will know it's been sprayed

I've never found anything cool in the Aldis dumpster except after Christmas.

BB&B have been pretty reliable for good finds. Some things ive learned, acetone will take that paint off ANY metal surface and some plastics (eats others). 90% isopropyl alcohol will clean up other plastics with more elbow grease. Fabrics are a lost cause unless you have a wife at home that enjoys crafts and cuts up the fabrics

Here in Kentucky, we can donate suitcases to our cabinet for families and children. They give them to foster children so they don't have to carry their belongings in trash bags. A small tear, stain or blemish wouldn't matter to a kid in need. Maybe your state offers a similar program?

Get a can of the same color of paint or even add a color and make an abstract design on the umbrella. Make it unique.
